"No Wi-Fi" displayed in iPhone Settings
I can no longer access wifi using my iphone. In settings, the wifi option is greyed out and un-clickable, displaying the message "No Wi-Fi". I have reset the iphone, and then restored it (both to a previous backup, and then as a new iphone), but to no avail. The phone has not been damaged physically or been exposed to any unreasonable conditions. Would this be a hardware issue?

iphone received a knock and then the screen had some lines across it and then it disappeared. It is now a dark blank white screen with no display or menu settings to turn phone on so it cant be used..
I can still hear if the phone rings or a message comes through I just have no way to answer or see them as there is no display. It appears to back up and sync...could the knock have moved something out of place I wonder? Tomorrow is my birthday and I really dont want to iss my calls or messages but I will make appt at the genius bar..

Unfortunetly, in situations like this, the ONLY other way to bypass that four-digit passcode and/or a disabled device is to connect to a computer with the most recent version of iTunes (11.1.3), connect the device in Recovery Mode and restore it to factory settings. Restoring to factory will completely wipe the device, including the four-digit passcode.
The steps to do so are outlined in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
(If there is any other way to bypass the passcode, it would have to be third-party, which I am not familiar with any program that can, sorry!). -

I have 2 iPhones (1 personal, 1 business) but use the same Apple ID. I have replaced my personal iPhone but it has restored to my work iPhone settings (photos/contacts/messages etc.) How do I restore it to my personal iPhone settings?
You're welcome.
First check to be sure the new phone is running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up (Settings>General>About>Version). If it isn't, you'll need to update the iOS first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the options, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your personal phone to restore to.
Be sure the phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. -
I had my iphone 4s synced to itunes on my work laptop. The IT group at work stripped out that installation and will not allow me to reinstall. My iphone insists it has to sync to my work laptop itunes. How do I change iphone settings to look at an itunes installation on my personal laptop?

You cannot.
By Design the iPhone can Only Sync to One iTunes Library at a time. -

I attached my new iPhone to my iTunes account for the first time and it came up with an option to sync my old iPod touch settings with my new iPhone. The first time you connect a new iPhone to iTunes that is used for syncing with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the new iPhone or set up the new iPhone as a new iPhone or don't transfer the backup for the other iOS device. This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone - not many hours or days later after significant use.
All iTunes content on your iPod Touch should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Whatever you had selected for transferring music with your iPod Touch now applies with your iPhone. If you had/have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPod Touch sync preferences with iTunes, the same music in your iTunes library selected to be transferred to your iPod Touch should have been transferred to your iPhone. This occurs after the backup is transferred. All content that was on your iPhone is now gone - replaced with the backup for your iPod Touch.
To start over as a new iPhone, you need to restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup. After the iOS is re-installed, select as a new iPhone for the restore option. -

How to transfer iTunes library along with iPhone settings on Leopard?
I intend to perform an install of Leopard on a new hard disk and will be importing the iTunes library from my old hard disk. Any idea if the import will also allow all the iPhone settings, notes, and other data will be imported along with the music and videos? I know that iCal and Addressbook settings can be imported easily. How about network settings, mails, notes, etc.?
I do not believe that you will be able to import those setting from an external drive.
I wouldn't worry about your iPhone stuff. Aside from the calendar, contacts, photos, music and videos there really isnt anything else that syncs from the iPhone yet. -
