No windows load right away. I have to reclick on the url window
When I click on a url, in my old version, it would load right away. In this version, the page is blank. So I have to go to the url window, click to highlight, click again to unhighlight, and click a third time to have it open. What's the deal? I want my old version back. Also, it used to have the bar telling you how fast it was loading. I miss that too.
Solved! I just disabled a toolbar called "Babylon", and everything is back to normal.
I don't remember installing this, maybe it was automated.
To do this, I went to View/Toolbar and disabled babylon toolbar.

Hi touser,
Can you please provide some specifics about the problem you're encountering? Do you get an error message, or does the file conversion process never complete? Is the problem specific to one file, or occur with every file you try to convert?
Please help fill in the blanks for us, so we know best how to help you resolve this issue.

My airport won't connect right away; I have to turn it off first for it to connect
When I'm connected to the WiFi at my house and then connect to WiFi somewhere else it says it's connected but doesn't work and I have to turn off the Airport first and then turn it on again for it to really connect.
Hi, there could be several problems, even which part of the switch you push.
Might be time to replace the PRAM Battery, 4 years is close to their lifespan, far less if ever without AC power, & can cause strange startup problems...

I am using a gateway laptop, and Windows 7. I use Netzero as my dialup service, using my phone line. I deleted my browser history and cookies, but I left all passwords intact. Whenever I do this, the games on Facebook come up with a LOADING bar, but they hit 100 percent and never actually load. It does this for months, and one day, they magically (Without me changing any settings) decide to load when I click on them. How do I make the games load, and prevent this from happening every time I clear the history?

Pages not loading anymore. I have tried reinstalling with the same results
I have iWork 09 on my MBP with the i7 (1 version back from the current model with the Thunderport). Software worked fine for many months but now when I try to start Pages or Keynote I get an error message saying it can not load the library. I tried to uninstall the software and reboot then reinstalled it and did an update to the app with the same results.
Deleting the program's preference list is the #1 trouble-shooting step with any misbehaving application. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist, empty the Trash & then restart Pages. Repeat with Numbers & Keynote. This needs to be done for each user.
There are two things to do that solve a lot of problems with the iWork ’08 &/or ’09 apps in Snow Leopard.
First, use the
Mac OS 10.6.6 combo updater. This fixes a problem with fonts that is not fixed using the delta update (10.6.1 > 10.6.2). Because of font & other issues with 10.6.7, I prefer to stick with 10.6.6. You can find the 10.6.7 combo updater
here
Second, make sure your iWork applications are updated. For iWork '08 that is Pages 3.0.3 & Numbers 1.0.3. For iWork '09 it's Pages 4.0.5 & Numbers 2.0.5. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '08 or iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08 or iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '08 or '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
Also, when deleting iWork, you need to make sure you get all of the components.
The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on
his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -
I HAVE A MACBOOK AIR, MY SOFTWARE IS OS X YOSEMITE, MY MEMORY IS 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME BUT IT DOES HAPPEN QUITE A LOT. WHEN I GO ONTO SAFARI AND TRY TO GO ONTO ANYTHING, ANY WEBPAGES, ANYTHING THAT NEEDS INTERNET TO LOAD, I HAVE TO TURN OFF AND ON THE WIFI AND THEN THE PAGE LOADS, THEN THE NEXT TIME I CLICK ON SOME OTHER LINK I FIRST HAVE TO TURN OFF AND ON THE WIFI AGAIN. ITS A VICIOUS CYCLE HAHA. I KNOW THAT THE WIFI IN MY HOUSE IS GOOD BECAUSE IT WORKS FOR MY IPHONE AND ALL THE OTHER DEVICES MY FAMILY HAS. MY BROTHER HAS AN OLDER MACBOOK AIR AND THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO HIM. IF YOU HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, THANKSNo.

I do have somethings that I want to remain private in my phone and I either need help to delete them for good. Or block themLet me rephrase that. They can't unless they had physical possession of your phone and installed spyware on it.

Have never been able to get this application, adobe acrobat dc, to work on my mac. Constantly goes into "application not responding" mode. Happen to anyone else and know how to fix it?
Hi Nicholas,
Verify if Protected View and Enhanced Security are Off. Go to Acrobat-> Preferences -> Security (Enhanced):
Also having too many fonts active can hurt the performance of any application.
Try the step 10 of the KB: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-fonts-mac-os-x.html

Firefox STOPS, STALLS, HANG THERE, when downloading game on Facebook....(what more do you want me to say?) and DON'T blame it on Facebook, my computer as it is all up to date, and no virus. I belive IT'S FIREFOX, they need to clean out their site. They have crap on their site from when the first started.
Hi,
Unlike the other browsers, Firefox is mostly volunteer- driven, so having someone always sitting on the other end of the phone is unlikely. If you want help live, try the irc channel: irc://moznet/firefox.
Which website is causing the problem?

I've never had this problem before and I could really use some help.
I would shut it down (or force shut it down by holding the power button,) and reboot holding the command - R
and get into the Recovery. Use the Diskutility to Repair Disk and Repair Permissions.
If errors show on Disk repair and corrected- run it again until it shows no errors found.
Relaunch as normal

Sometimes it seems like it is prompted by some type of reload as the cursor turns into the blue circle before disappearing. I am not hitting any strange keys or doing anything with the mouse.
The one that indicates where you're typing (|). as you can see in the attached pic, i was trying to type "andrewager.com" in the address bar, but it jumped down to the search box and the e went in to the search box.

Can't install ; i need administrator rights that i have
Hello,
I tried many time to install Air but I always failed...
They keep telling me that I need administrator rights, but I have and i launch the installation with them.
I tried many ways (like using this as told : http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us but it didn't work as well, the program is uninstalled - I need to install it again -, and it doesn't appear on the installation programs...) and searched everywhere but without success ; that's why I finally decided to ask here.
Thank you for your help.
Shisma.

How stored procedure get executed when called from java
When we create a stored procedure or function in oracle, it is compiled and stored there. From java when we call them no compilation is performed its a simple call. When a function or stored procedure is invoked from multiple instance of java objects
