No words on the screen

My ipod is about 1.5 years old now. The thing turns on, charges, plays music, my PCs recognizes it and syncs it. I have downloaded the latest software, reset it, re-loaded it. The screen just doesn't shows words, back lights, nothing. So I can't even see the menus- like shuffles, playlists, etc. How can I get words on my screen again?

It's not clear from your post whether you've tried a restore.
How to restore the iPod to factory settings.
If you have, it probably needs service.

The keyboard shortcut may be active - look at Preferences - Keyboard - Shortcuts - Accessibility(Universal Access) & uncheck those you don't want to accidentally use.

I am trying to register and at the bottom it says write these two word to prove your human. What words? there are no words on the screen like that

I go to yahoo games a lot, so I am used to those nonsensical words., None of that comes up for me to write in. When I try to register with out them, Iget an error message that I must enter those words I am new to Mozlla-Foxfire and having a problem from the beginning is ominous!

I cant see all of the words on the screen how can i move or adjust the screen so that i can see all of the words

for instance when i go on to this clothing website (gojane.com) it has "shopping cart" at the top right-hand corner but now all that i see are the letters "s" and "h". its even happening now with this site, I see the letters "sig" and half of the letter "n". If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

Can I view a single page of a document, previously created in Microsoft Word, in its entirety on the screen (ipad or iphone) without having to drag the page, i.e. one page per screen?

Looking to choose an app for viewing word documents, but need to be able to view a complete page per screen (preferably full screen) without having to 'nudge' the screen 'up' to view the bottom of the page.
Will Pages do the job?

Not exactly.
You will find yourself nudging the page up or down a bit. Earlier versions of iOS Pages allowed "full page view" but that really wasn't full page either. You can squeeze the view to fit, but as soon as you release it, the document springs back to normal size - it is only about a line off from what you are looking for.
An alternative would be to view a Pages Document as a PDF and view the PDF in an app such as GoodReader - there you can see both the top and bottom edges of each page. There are many other PDF viewers available in the App Store.

When I Copy Data and paste to Word Pad it posts the Data in a Top to Bottom format. When I copy the same from IE it post the data as you see it on the Screen - in a Left to Right Top to bottom format. Why does FoxFire reformat the date.

When I click the View option to view a document on my insurance website, I only get a blank screen with words Mozilla Firefox, and below it, "Search Bookmarks and History" in the upper left corner of the screen.

You may have blundered into "Full Screen" mode, an abomination ported from iOS, the iPhone Operating System, land of tiny screens and one-at-a-time Applications.
Try clicking the double-arrows in the extreme upper right of the MenuBar or Window.

My Ipod and Itunes are upto to date. After Itunes opens a small box with the word Ipod appears near the top of the right side of the screen. Then screen will go through the five steps of syncing. Afterward, still nothing has transfered to my Ipod(The box next to the songs I wanted were check)

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Then make sure that you have the right boxes chacked to sync. See:

If you do Cmd+Shift+3 you'll get a full screen image saved to your desktop as a jpg file.
Also, you can use Cmd+Shift+4 and you'll get a cursor which you click+drag to draw a box. When you release the drag the boxed in area will be saved to the Desktop as a jpg file.
