Hi Experts,
Can someone help me in resolving IT7 error which I am getting while updating Workshcedule?
I have check all possible config nodes to find out error but no luck.
Generally this error occurs because of PS Grouping...

Here are the screenshots of error in IT7 and Personnel Area/subarea and Employee Group/subgroup from IT1. Configuration is done for mentioned combination but i am not sure why the error is popping up

    for  5x 2 (5 days working and 2 days Off) working days i maintained like below

    Daily working hours    8.00               Monthly working hrs      176.00
    Weekly working hours  40.00               Annual working hours    2088.00
    Weekly workdays        5.00               Addnl monthly hours

  • Customising error in work schedule rule

    Hi All,
    While running the TM schema TM04, i am getting "customising error in work schedule rule".
    I could successfully generate work schedule with the same work schedule rule for the period 01-2006 to 01-2008.
    I have configured all the nodes under work schedule. I have maintained payroll control record with retro accounting date as 01-2006 and the payroll date as 02-2006(i.e i released the payroll for run, so period got incremented).
    In 0003, i have given TM status as 9.
    I want to know if i missed anything in configuration. Can you please help me in this regard.

    Hi Ravi,
    You can also maintain the feature TIMMO.. the return value of this feature is Country Grouping..
    You need to select the relevant country grouping and give the same as return value and activate the feature.

  • Work Schedule Rules and Period Work Schedules

    Is it possible to have one work schedule rule have different period work schedules. We have several different period work schedules that work the same amount of hours. The only difference between them is that the days for the schedules are different. However, the total amount of hours worked in the week are the same. If we assign the period work schedules that have the same hours to one work schedule rule we do not have to create and maintain several work schedule rules for each different work schedule.

    A Work Schedule Rule is created for an Employee SubGroup Grouping, Calendar Grouping and Personnel SubArea Grouping, using a single Periodic Work Schedule.
    So, if you have 100 PWS, you will need at least 100 Work Schedule Rules, and probably more since some PWS will probably be used by more than one combinations of ESG/Calendar/PSA Groupings.

  • Error "No entry in table T551A" while creating set work schedule rule.

    Dear Team,
    I am getting following error while creating set work schedule rule.
    Error "No entry in table T551A" for key 22 BBB [ here BBBB is my period work schedule]
    The actual prob is i configured all the necessary steps but when i tried to create work schedule rule im getting this error. Also, in the same screen there is one field DWS grouping initially value in this is 00 and gread mode. But after giving ES grp, holiday calander ID etc etc when i try to save that screen that value is chainging to 22 from 00.
    My ES grop=2 and PS grop=2 . Is that value is my ES and PS grouping..?? or some other thing.
    Request you to please help me out.

    HI, there are 8 steps you need to do below:
    1. Group Personnel Subareas for the Daily Work Schedule
    2. Group Personnel Subareas for the Work Schedule
    3. Define Break Schedules
    4. Define Daily Work Schedules
    5. Define Period Work Schedules
    6. Define Employee Subgroup Groupings
    7. Define Groupings for the Public Holiday Calendar
    8. Set Work Schedule Rules and Work Schedules
    All of them belong to TIME MANAGEMENT. I think you miss some steps above.
    Please check it again.

    I have checked work schedules and work sc. rules. everything looks fine. Reason being fine, same work schrdule rule, i.e. 5MTWTF is used for other employees, whose payroll area, personnel area, personnel subarea, employee group and employee subgroups are same.
    Why it is throwing error for one employee 753402.
    I am providing you more information. In table V_T569r, if u select recalculation category as time evaluation, it is mentioned as 01.01.2003. Initially, one action called "Conversion take on" has been maintained as on 01.03.2002, where employee had payroll area -99 (payroll irrelevant) and personnel subarea - DAYY.
    Then on 17.03.2008, another action ran "Conversion initial reassignment" where payroll area changed to "MT - monthly", subarea changed to DAYF. At that time PDC recalculation date in infotype 0003 was 01.03.2002 which was before recalculation date, i.e. 01.01.2003.
    Time evaluation was throwing 2 error messages. one was solved by changing PDC recaluation date to 17.03.2008. But other error related to work sc rule 1 VM 01 5MTWTF still occurs. 
    Can some body now provide some useful information?

    Follow the below steps to create Work Schedule:
    Holiday Calendar
    Transaction Code: SCAL
    Holiday calendar comprises of list of paid holidays to be given to employees on festivals by the company.
    Personnel Area/SubArea Groupings
    Go to SPRO --> Time Management --->Work Schedules --> Personnel SubArea Groupings
    Maintain perosnnel area/Subarea groupings for work schedule.
    i.e. Suppose in Mumbai you have WS = GEN ( 10 to 6) and in Chennai you have WS = NORM ( 8 to 4 )
    Work Schedule
    Go to SPRO --> Time Management --->Work Schedules -->Daily Work Schedules
    Go to SPRO --> Time Management --->Work Schedules -->Period Work Schedules
    Daily Work Schedule is actually your office timings with breaks (paid /unpaid) i.e. Planned Working Time which is then included
    in Period Work Schedule to make a week ( M T W T F S S )
    Daily Work Schedule (i.e. Day) -
    > Period Work Schedule (i.e. Week)
    Work Schedule Rules
    Go to SPRO --> Time Management --->Work Schedules -->Work Schedule Rules and Work Schedules
    After doing above mentioned configurations,maintain employee group/subgroup groupings in which you have to define which calendar is applicable for which type of employees for which work schedule.
    You will maintain this work schedule in infotype 0007 - Planned Working Time of employee via transaction code - PA30

    I run the Start-Payroll  and I getting an error " Customizing Error In WSR for that Personal Number"
    I configuration all of Time Management with start date is 01.01.2000 and when I run Payroll on Payroll period is 01/2000 with start date is 01.01.2000 to 31.01.2000 for Employees hiring on 01.01.2000 then I have an error " Customizing error in work schedule rule .. .. ... ..".
    But I can run the payroll period on 02/2000 with start date is 01.02.2000 to 29.02.2000 for Employees hiring on 01.02.2000.  form 02/2000 it is okies.
    Please help me  solve about my problem

    if it  is PY  log
    Check GENPS this error will come under this Function
    it is the combination of
    ur Holiday calendar
    Employee Sub Group
    Personal Sub area Grouping
    and ur Daily work Schedule Rule
    Check the Start dats an end dates fo all the above Settings along with their Groupings in table V_T508A

    I am just learning this topic and see this thread still open, so let me try to help.
    1-Holiday Class(HC)
    In IMG->Time Management->Work Schedules->Define Public Holiday Classes,we assign a value to public holidays like this:
    Holiday            Religion     Holiday class
    Christmas Day                         1
    Here Holiday class value range is: blank-working day; 1-level1 holiday;2-level2 holiday...etc. By assigning a holiday to a holiday class we can classify holidays.
    2-Day Types(DT)
    In IMG->Time Management->Work Schedules->Day Types->Define Day Types, we define day types like:
    Blank     Blank          Work/paid
    1        O/pd         Off/paid
    2        O/upd         Off/unpaid
    3        O/sp         Off/special day
    3-Selection Rules
    In IMG->Time Management->Work Schedules->Day Types->Define Selection Rules, we have such settings:
                           Weekday         Sat.        Sun.
    with holiday class     b123456789     b123456789    b123456789
    Gives day type         _1_1211311     _1_1111111    _1_1111111
    Here, b123456789 is HC and 11211311 is day types(I use '_' for blank).
    In Weekday part,first column wo got HC=b and DT='_'. That means, in calendar if today is a working day(HC=b) then the employee is paid for working(DT=Blank(Work/Paid)).
    In 5th column, we got HC=4 and DT=2. That means, in calendar if today is a level4 holiday then the employee can has a day-off but not paid(DT=2(Off/Unpaid)).

    There is no stanndard tool to upload Work schedules , we created opur won LSMWs to upload the DWS, PWS & Work Schedule rules from Excel for around 12,000 WSR.

    We have created new personal sub area and new work schedule rule.Everything is working properly in Dev system..
    But in production we could not get work schedule rule in work schedule rule field (pressing F4 we are not getting list of rules for this grouping).
    I have checked the request also everything saved and moved to PRD.
    Please tel me the soln...

    Dear Rajesh,
    Some times requested transported by you may not import to production server properly.
    For that you need to re import the request to production server by checking all the check marks while importing in production.
    Try it,
    If not overwritten do another way go the same table entries in DEV and do small changes, it create request again.. and release it for production.

    Just want to get an experts opinion on my
    Daily selection work schedule rule variant
    My condition is to have a variant for reduced work hours on day before a
    public  holiday (i.e only if public holiday is between monday to friday) not if public holiday falls on saturday or sunday
    Ex: I don't reduced work hours on friday because saturaday is off .

    I believe it would all posible situations even if i have 2 consecutive holidays on a week i.e say tuesday and wednesday or for another combination.

  • Customizing error in Work Schedule Rule

    Dear Consultant,
    One of the employee left on 25th of a month. His termination process was run from 26th. Thereafter his Time sheet was uploaded upto 25th. The system accepts his attendance upto 24th but for 25th it gives error as "Customizing Error in Work Schedule Rule XXXXX". When his Personal work schedule was checked it shows expected working hours as 8. Then why it does not accept the attendance through time sheet?
    Nothing can be wrong with WS Rule as it is still working fine for all others. Also when the time sheet is uploaded first & then the employee is terminated, it works fine. then why time sheet gives error only for the last day?

    Pls check the action infotype 0000 for him
    normally the if person is going to releive on say 25th ,then we have to give the leaving action date as 26 th as per SAP
    Scenario.
    consider his doj is 01.05.2006
    if u done the leaving action on 26th by mentioning the date 25.09.2009
    sap close him by 24th
    and the record stored as below
    01.05.2006  to 24.09.2009
    delete the action and perform w.e.f 26 th  then it will take as below
    01.05.2006 to 25.09.2009
    then u can upload time events

    Hi All,
    I too faced the same type of error. Below are the steps for the solution.
    1. The error comes due to retro run with incorrect workschedule rule in IT0007.
    2. You can check table  V_T508A or V_001P_ALL to view the complete groupings of your personnel area/subarea,workschedule rule, Holiday cal,
    3. Copy the existing record of IT0007>give the retro effective period as start date and enter the end date>select the populated workschedule rule from the drop down option-->save the record.
    4. Run the psyroll in simulation mode and check the status.
