"NoClassDefFoundError" while accessing custom DemoServlet of cdb devkit.

Hi All,
We followed all the steps given in cdb html doc to deploy the custom servlet(DemoServlet.java) in content db home, however we are able to call the servlet from browser and able to see the following links
home,login and list links
- when we are clicking on the "list link" we are getting the following error:

Can anyone please let us know in which jar file the oracle/ifs/fdk/InProcessManagersFactory class file exists.
We looked into the following jars but we couldnt find it

cdb-devkit-client.jar
servlet.jar
content.jar

Thanks for your reply.The cdb-devkit-server.jar file which i was having didnt contain this class file however we got a patch of this jar in content db oracle home that contained this class file.

I'm trying to get a handle of a JMS queue, which resides on Oracle App Server 10.1.3.4, from a Java Program which I'm trying to run from JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.
I'm trying to make an RMI connection to the App server from JDeveloper by passing following information to the intialContext:

I have also tried to use the value "com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory" for "java.naming.factory.initial",
however I still get the same error.

Error with Custom Menu while accessing template

Hi Experts,
We are facing an issue in SAP BPC 7.5 MS SP with the Customs Menu Option, one user is not able to access Custom menu in Excel interface. All other person who are part of the group are able to use this option. The Dropdown menu which contains the Report details is not listing any report names and Team Drop down is listing a value "EV__DEFAULT". User is getting error like "You are not authorized to access this application []".
But when i tried using same set of security access through another User ID ,I was able to access the Custom menu.
Tried clearing the cache for the User who is facing the issue, but it didn't worked.
Any Help in understanding what may be the reason for this issue.

I've seen this error when a user had an action pane with dirty values, e.g. Time=2007.TOTAL try setting before all the action pane with valid values where you have some data and after open the custom menu.

How to hide _layouts in the URL while accessing an application page

Can we create any friendly URL while accessing any custom application page. I don't want to show _layouts in the URL So how can i mask the URL.

The application pages should be in the _layouts folder (or _admin for application pages for central admin).
You can put pages at friendly urls, but then they should be site pages, which you provision using a "Module" element from Visual Studio. But be aware that then users will be able to modify them using SharePoint designer.
There are methods to achieve this somehow, but you should not do it in sharepoint.

I am facing a problem while accessing data in Responsive Replenishment -SMI details.
I do not see any issues in Master data set up as i am able to view the Product data in Location Product settings.
Error messages are as below
-Time series error in class /SCF/CL_ICHDM_DATAAXS method /SCF/IF_ICHDMAXS_2_CNTL~SELECT
- Planning object structure 9AINVM1 is not active
I have also activated the all available time series data types in Customizing but still facing the same error.
Any pointers to address this issue will be highly appreciated.

Hi Nikhil,
I had tried this option, i used option "Activate Planning Object structure" on time series data type VMIP1, VMIW1, SMI01 to 3 but got an error message "Error with Planning Object structure:". That's the reason looking to apply note 1326306.
Am I missing something here? Is there any option to input 9AINVM1 entry for activation?

But the issue was not related to the status.
System was giving this error because there were no customizing settings were done for Safety Measures.
As soon as I maintained the customizing settings for the safety measures, I found no errors.

I created the targeters using commerce ACC in ATG 10.1.2/jboss-eap-5.1.0.
While accessing the targeters getting the below exception and unable to access the targeters and add the rules. I tried to remove all the "Log4jService" entries from my application, since this is not Serializable. However, still i am getting the same error and unable to access.

Not sure if this issue is resolved but there are couple steps you can try.
1. update your Manifest.MF file with ATG-Client-Class-Path
And/Or
2. After you have removed 'Log4JService' from your application; delete the classes.jar from your custom commerce module build the module again and deploy the EAR

When i check in this path SecStore.properties is there , also i have checked the permissions .....................please revert the reason of this error .
Main part of this all is that after taking a reboot everything becomes fine , this happens every few days .
Please revert to this .

Hi,
This error crops up when the the folder usr/sap folder sharing is lost . We have recently faced this problem this is Windows OS level problem you can ask your OS admin. Applying a security patch will do.

Hi ,
I have a java desktop application, and i am trying to get a connection from a datasource deployed on one SAP AS Java, I can get the datasource succsfullly but when i try to get a connection from the DS, it throughs this exception, I put the secstore..properties file in the classpath even after that it is not happy,
any solution/hint/light please!!!!

the SecStore.key file was not there, I changed the passwd and checked the 'Encryption' on, after that my sever instance is not starting.
Any idea?
