NODE_KEY_EXISTS" raised in /SAPAPO/CONSCHK
Hello,
We are running transaction /SAPAPO/CONSCHK in our SCM system v. 5.0. When I click the "Object Selection" button using any selection criteria, I get the following short dump:
Short text
Exception condition "NODE_KEY_EXISTS" raised.
Error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "CL_SIMPLE_TREE_MODEL==========CP" raised the
exception condition "NODE_KEY_EXISTS".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
program, processing was terminated.
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_SIMPLE_TREE_MODEL==========CP" -
in "ADD_NODE".
The main program was "/SAPAPO/SAPLMVM_CONS ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 38
of the (Include) program "CL_SIMPLE_TREE_MODEL==========CM001".
The exception is raised in method add_node_int of Class CL_TREE_MODEL.

The root cause seems to be inconsistency in the WorkArea selected.
Quick of checking it is goto /SAPAPO/CONSCHK transaction enter the Planning version, Work Area and Consistency Profile and then click on Object Selection button. It should display the location-product combinations added in the WorkArea if it does not display that (most likely will generate a short dump) you need check the Work Area going into /SAPAPO/SCC02.

Planning area data not updated in infocube in APO system
Hi all,
User is uploading a flat file using addon program to an infocube 1, from this infocube data for sales forecast KF is getting transferred to a planning area KF using standard program RTS_INPUT_CUBE. I can see the updated data in Planning book (which refer the same planning area) data views. In planning book the sales forecast data is also getting copyied to second KF 'Arrangement FC' and its correct.
Now there is a infocube 2 (second) which is getting data directly from this planning area (infocube also contains both KFs). But When i checked this infocube 2 , the updated data is availabe in Sales forecast KF , but arrangement forecast KF is having old data only and user is running query on second KF , so he is getting wrong report.
Since there is no data flow for this infocube 2, and it is getting data from planning area, I feel its remote infocube.
I have also found the datasource for this planning area but don't know how to move further to find why data is not updating properly? Please help on this.

it is advisable to run the background jobs when the planning books are not being accesses by the users to prevent such inconsistencis. Hence i would advise you to run the jobs durng non-working hours. and if you have a global system, then you may restrict to run the jobs based on regional levels.
in addition, it is also a good practice to run consistency jobs before and after your have completed the background jobs. i hope you are using process chains to execute the sequeuce of jobs. if yes, then you can add consistency check jobs in the process chains.
some of the consistency check reports are :
/SAPAPO/OM17 - liveCache Consistency Check
/SAPAPO/TSCONS - Consistency Check for Time Series Network
/SAPAPO/CONSCHK - Model Consistency Check
and so and so forth..
you can find these conssistency jobs under APO Adiminstration --> Consistency checks in APO.

Error in TLB background job"Version does not exist"

We are getting error of "Version does not exist " in TLB background run..The T-lane is between 2 DCs .we have checked everything but unfortunately
we are not able to detect the root cause for the error.

I think that you have some master data inconsistency in the version.
Please run the reports; /SAPAPO/OM17, /SAPAPO/TSCONS, /SAPAPO/TSLCREORGSNP
You can also run Model Consistency check (t.code /SAPAPO/CONSCHK). First you have to define the Model (t.code /SAPAPO/SCC07) and the Profile (t.code /SAPAPO/CONSPRF).

We have upgraded our SCM patch level from 06 to 08.
After patch upgrade we are facing a problem in CTM run.
Error message is as follows :
'An exception occured in communicaiton object: An'.
I could not see any entry in rcc_version or opt09 tcode.

Please run the reports /SAPAPO/TSCONS, /SAPAPO/CONSCHK and Livecache consistency /SAPAPO/OM17.
Also,the other reason for this could be from Basis side i.e:Network problems between the APO system and the CTM engine, please check all this.

ZERO Total Costs of the Solution and No Result Log after Optimiser Run
Hi Experts
I found that after SNP optimiser run for one variant with selected product and location, the Result Log generated & Total Costs of the Determined Solution is ZERO from OPTIMISER LOG.
Before optimiser run, I had run consistency check /SAPAPO/CONSCHK, /SAPAPO/TSCONS & /SAPAPO/OM17.
Also note, sale optimiser profile is used later with other set of products and location, but there Result Log and Total Costs of the Determined Solution is there in optimiser log.
What could be the reason of this? Please suggest.

Did you see any result from your optimizer run? Means, if you see some pln ord/purch req. , generated from the optimizer run, to meet the demand? If yes, then it sounds like a master data issue with cost maintenance. If no, then it could be master data issue with cost maintenance or there is no source (for example- no t-lane for those products you used in the optimizer run) to meet the demand and you have set the indicator for 'no order w/o source'.
Anyway I would suggest to check the following-
1. As Anand said, make sure you have maintain all the penalty cost for the product-locations where you have the demand. Also please check if the products are assigned to the lane (from Source to destination location).
2. If you have maintained any production cost in PPM (if used one) or storage cost in the demand location or transportation cost (in the T-lane), then make sure these all cost are way lesser than the non-delivery penalty cost.
But yes, even if, this is the case, then optimizer should generate some non-delivery penalty cost, when demands are not fulfilled! So, it seems like there is no penalty cost.
Did you use any optimizer cost profile or it is same as previous one?

Hi All,
I am using BAPI BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL to read live cache key figure. Its working finr when I execute the program in foreground and returns values but when I try executing this is background it gives me following error in Job Log:-
Internal error [/SAPAPO/OM_TS_TGRID_CREATE].
Can somebody suggest me the root cause and remedy for the same. I try doing planning area initializationa and live cache consistency check also but no luck.

I checked and found no sap notes similar to scm 4.0. I would suggest to raise a OSS message to SAP so that they will advise on suitable support pack or sap note to implement.

RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised
Dear All,
We have 2 production systems one is a APO server & the other being BW server.
While checking in SM58 of our APO production server we found that so many entries were in error saying "ERROR REQU_<number> PG# 12 In BW" with target system as BWCLNT<CLIENT NO>.
We checked in both the production systems for any job failure w.r.t same time span but could find nothing.
When we tried to solve this by using F6 option to re-execute the LUW it says "Functional Module doesnot exists or Exception Raised". After doing checks it was found out that the Functional Module (RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED) was existing . So we need to know about how we can solve this EXCEPTION RAISED issue.

This migth be problem with not catching exact exception in the code.There might be data you are passing which not getting caught by the exception.
If you are using any code add this FM in the code or else try to debug where exactly u r facing this problem.

Regarding on your short dump, it occur during DB access (live Cache access).
<If you look at FM /SAPAPO/OM_TS_DATA_SET_RIW,
you can see COM routin SAPTS_SET_DATA_RIW . This indicate liveCache access>.
Normally kind of your dump occur due to memory shortage of you liveCache heap area.
So I recommend you to contact your liveCache administrater and check parameter setting of OMS_HEAP_LIMIT and historical heap consumption.
(If your liveCache administrater check livecache kernel log like knldiagerr, he or she will see error message of heap shortage).

I think the only solution for this problem is to upgrade the LCA build to the latest version. The LC upgrade should solve the dump on the program
"/SAPAPO/SAPLOM_DELTA_BASIS".

I have recently completed an unicode conversion of our SCM 7.0 system. On the source I ran sections A and B, then did the unicode conversion. On the target I did a fresh install of liveCache and made it the same build. I followed the info in note 632357
I have then tried this process two ways, but the first way which I thought was what I needed to do caused many issues.
The first process.
I used the commands below to get the parameters set in the target install the same as they were in the source.

The parameters seemed to work, but the problem I had was trying to get the datafiles created. The source had 16 datafiles so I was trying to create the targets 16 datafiles. I ran the below command for that and it said ok, but never actually created them.

I have an issue with step C4-loading LiveCache transactional data in section C.
We are in the process of upgrading our SCM5.0 system to release SCM7.0. Our source livecache version is 7.6.03.12 and target livecache version we are upgrading to is 7.7.04.29. We are in the downtime phase of the upgrade, executing the post LiveCache upgrade C1-C11 steps in Section C.
During step C4 when uploading LiveCache transaction data, we are running into an error CONNE_IMPORT_WRONG_COMP_TYPE. The dump says that "when importing the object 'OT_ORDERS", the component no. 5 in the dataset has a different type from the corresponding component of the target object in the program "/SAPAPO/SAPLOM_UPGR_PARALLEL". The data type is "P" in the dataset, but "C in the program"
We are running AIX5.3 and Oracle 10.2.0.2.0.
I would appreciate if you can provide some help or pointers on how this issue can be addressed. Thank you!

Some Software Components (probably the GUI) are not installed on your machine Properly. Please reinstall the FULL SAPGUI. If this does not help also see if any SAP SCM-APO Patches are Incorrectly Installed. In this case you have to check with the Basis Person on the team and together if you cannot figure please raise an OSS to SAP.

When activating i am getting the following warning:

As this is warning i activated it and the BADI also.
When i go back and again see the BADI , the status is inactive.
Can you please let me now if i am doing anything wrong?

APO Standard Forecast Consumption Condition in /SAPAPO/DM_BADI_CSP

I need to change the standard forecast consumption logic to meet the business requirement which is as follows.
Forecast should be consumed based on the fiscal month window.
Note: Standard SAP /APO functionality do not support forecast consumption based on the fiscal month window instead system uses consumption period [in calender days] in backward/forward direction and system do not restrict the forecast consumption window based on the fiscal month.
Please provide inputs if you have faced such situation. I have got a BAdI '/SAPAPO/DM_BADI_CSP' that most closely resembles to serve the purpose but then I don't know much about it. Any sample implementation will also be helpful.

I think i have confused you, i have two scenarios first where i have sales order/delivery coming from external system. I am not worried about them as i will not be doing PGI for such order.
Second scenario which i am having is very standard scenario. I have forecast in APO and creating sales order/ delivery in ECC. When they come to APO they consume forecast. Till this point every thing is fine. As soon as i do PGI of delivery, then that quantity should move to withdrawal from allocated, but in my case its not going to withdrawal but getting removed from allocated. This is resulting in increase of forecast quantity. I am tring to resolve this issue and seeking your help.
