Last day my nokia 112 accidentally droped nothing happened to the phone but after when i fix the battery in the phone it does not start. When i go to nokia care they reply me it has board problem or something borad is band .please help .

Sorry to be the bearer of Bad news but it seems you need to get yourself another phone. Only thing you can try is get the device inspected by another Nokia Care if you have nearby and see what they say.
I had a similar experience with my Nokia 6110 Navigator. It had fallen from a height of just about 30 cms and went dead. Was told that the Motherboard has cracked and the phone is beyond repair (economically not viable)..

Ok first try hold the menu button down for around 8 seconds.
If that fails hold the Menu, volume down and camera buttons down when powering on and dont let go until you feel the phone vibrate.
this will wipe all data of phone...

Hi,
I was wondering where I can buy a new battery for my nokia 112.
Is it possible to put another nokia battery in the phone? If so, which one? Because I can't find a store where they still sell this battery.

You can only use the compatible battery model (BL-6C) with your Nokia 112. If you need a new battery for your phone, you can try visiting the same store where you bought it and see if they sell this battery model. You can also visit other Nokia authorized retailers to check its availability. See this link for the Nokia global support page: Way finder - Nokia.

Nokia 112 can't connect to audio device

Hi all,
I recently bought a Nokia 112 (RM-837) and wanted to play some music with it.
When I try to play music to my bluetooth audio device (Stereoboomm 500), it displays this error:
"Service not supported by other device".
I am able to successfully pair the two devices, but when I try to connect, it will fail.
Audio device is bluetooth v3.0, Nokia 112 bluetooth v2.1, but this shouldn't be a problem because bluetooth v3.0 is backwards compatible. Audio device is not broken as it works with other phones.
My Nokia has firmware version 3.32.
I tried to update my Nokia with the latest updates, but also this fails (even with factory settings!).
But this shouldn't be the problem either because the update hasn't any changes relating to connectivity.
What could be the problem?

Okay, I figured it out..
Apparently the Nokia 112 doesn't support the A2DP bluetooth profile that's needed to stream audio to bluetooth speakers.

Hi,
I have problem with add czech language to my mobile phone. I try to download PC Suite but when I want reinstall SW i received infomation that I have to connect mobile phone over USB but this mobile phone is not supporting USB connection.
Do you have some idea how to added czech language or reinstall current SW version 3.51

The wording of that error message is wrong.
You cannot re-install the firmware on a Nokia 112 yourself, because your phone lacks an USB port, officially. Furthermore, with a Nokia Series 40 based phone like yours, you cannot change the set of languages yourself, because each firmware variant (identified via the Nokia Product Code) has a limited set of pre-installed languages – and you are not allowed to change the firmware yourself, officially.
Did you consider to bring your phone to your dealer, who in turn sends it over to a local but genuine Nokia Care Centre? Looking at the second-hand market-prize for a Nokia 112, this might be a total financial loss and you might be better off with a Nokia 301.

Sorry to hear about what happened to your Nokia 112. Did something happen to the phone before you had the issue? Did you accidentally reset it? For the deleted applications, are you referring to preloaded apps or to the download ones?
If you're referring to downloaded apps, you may redownload them from the Nokia Store app. Just launch it, go to My stuff, and then select Download History to redownload the apps that you previously installed on the phone.
If you're referring to preloaded apps, you may try updating the phone's software. To do that, just go to Menu, and then select Settings. Choose Phone, and then look for Device Software Updates. Hit Check for software update and install the available update. Note that the availability of software updates depends on the region and network approval. A stable internet connection is required, and make sure that the battery is fully charged before updating the phone.
If there's no update available, you may also visit a Nokia Care Point to have the phone's software reflashed. Check this link for the Nokia Global support wayfinder: Nokia Global.

Nokia 112 is a recent model which comes with the latest built-in software. When you compare it to Nokia C2-00 which was released a little over 2 years ago, it understandably has different features than Nokia 112, not to mention the different version of Series 40 OS.
If you want to access Windows Live Messenger on Nokia C2-00, you can also use third party applications such as Nimbuzz and eBuddy. Both applications can access several different instant messaging networks, including Windows Live.

Hi: I intend to buy a basic phone that supports PC sync. Nokia 112 is one of the mdels that I have shortlisted.
Question: whether PC sync (outlook 2010 contacts, tasks, appointments, notes etc.) is possible over bluetooth on Nokia 112.
Background:
1. USB is absent on Nokia 112.
2. Nokia Suite Device compatibility page (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-suite-specifications/) does not list the Nokia 112 (even though 111, 113, 114 are mentioned: at least the 114 is bluetooth enabled with no USB)
3. I could not find much on this topic in this discussion forum save one (http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Phone-Applications/Nokia-112-fetching-data/m-p/1683132/highlight/tru...) where the author mentions in passing that he has used the Nokia Suite to connect, download games etc. (he does not specifically mention PC Sync) with his Nokia 112.
4. the Nokia 112 device specification page (http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/112/) mentions under "Synchronization" heading that "OMA Data Synchronization v1.2 SyncML" is supported.

After buying the phone I found out that Sync occurs (over Bluetooth, for Contacts, Contacts, Notes) without any problems through Nokia PC Suite (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-pc-suite/). The other Nokia software: Nokia Suite (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-suite/) gives problems while syncing. Huge file transfers should be done through card readers only.
Note:
1. I used to have C3-00 earlier, hence the sync SW setup (in perfectly working condition) was already there on my machines.
2. I have used two different setups: Windows XP (32bit) and Windows 7 Professional SP1 64bit
3. Nokia PC Suite version: 7.1.180.94; Nokia Suite Version: 3.7.22
4. Outlook 2007 on XP, Outlook 2010 64 bit on Win7

You may try another SIM (borrow from your friends / family members) . Preferably you may try SIMs from different operators. This will tell you whether its the problem with your Phone, your Operator or your particular SIM. If all SIMs give same result, it may be an issue with the phone..If other Operators SIM work fine but the other SIM from the same Operator as yours do not then its Network issue. If all othe SIMs work then get your SIM repalced ..

Nokia Dictionary - switching between 2 languages

Hi,
I often use Nokia Dictionary and I think it's a nice, simple tool. But there is one, very annoying problem with it.
When I try to switch between languages (let's say I use Danish-Polish dictionary) and I want to reverse languages - Polish to Danish - each time I need to do it by choosing source and target language in menu. It tooks a lot of time and it's inconvenient.
I would like to do it faster. Is there any chance to add new position in menu or aditional button called "Reverse languages" or something similiar?
I hope you understand my suggestion. I use Nokia N8 (Symb. Anna)

At switching from the display notebook on the external monitor the resolution is exposed to the display, instead of the external monitor. Who faced such problem?

My English language is not so perfect but I believe in your case the option called Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor is enabled. Am I right?
Anyway, if the external monitor is properly connected please use FN+F5 key combination to switch between notebook LCD display and external monitor.

Nokia 6021 - Switching on and off

I have just received a brand new Nokia 6021 to replace a 6310i which was developing a fault with the on/off switch after 4 years.
Well, the 6021 is just about impossible to switch on and off. My thumb is now strained after so many attempts. The only way to it is get the edge of something hard and press down really hard for about 10 seconds and then it will switch on/off.
Is that how it is supposed to work?

Is it switching off & on without stop??!! anyway, if you have the chance to back up your data then restore factory settings or even using bluetooth to send that video to other phone first, if it's really not responding as you're saying, maybe a power cycle could be useful: turn off the phone by keeping the power button down until you feel 3quick vibrations and turn it back on after 1min, if your phone doesn't support this option, hmm... while am writing this i've had an idea you maybe changed where your camera should save pics so you might have it already on your MC, if not maybe anybody else here have better solution.
