NOKIA 114 AUTOMATICALlY SWITCH ON AFTER SWITCH OFF

My nokia 114 working fine,no hanging problem but sometimes it automatically switch on after switching off,not always but randomly .i contact nokia care point and they update my phone twice but on change.is it the common sw problem of nokia 114 or is it my device hardware problem ? Is anybody faced with this same problem ?Plz reply any solution . . . . . . . . . . .

How often does the rebooting happen? Does it happen more frequently when your are running some specific application or function? Also what SW version is your phone currently running? You can check this by dialing *#0000#.

SBH80 no more switch on after switch off

Hello,
after a long waiting I finally got the sony headset SBH80. I enjoyed the good sound and easy and confortable wearing of it but after 2 days it doesn't work any more. I switched it off, but it couldn't switched on after this. I already did a reset but with no result. Has anyone an idea about this issue?

In that case it sounds like you have done the most you can try yourself. Perhaps the unit is faulty. I suggest that you have your device examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

Nokia Lumia 925 No Display After Switch On

When I switch my Nokia Lumia 925 off and then turn it back on again I get no display.
I know its on because I can press the on/off/ button and the soft keys will vibrate when touched.
I can even take a picture using the camera key, confirmed with a flash but I have no display whatsoever.
Anyone else experienced this issue? Soft reset seems to the the trick but I get the same issue everytime I turn my phone off and turn it back on again.
I love the phone to pieces but this issues are starting to dwell on me and whether I made the right choice.
My OS info if it helps is:
OS: 8.0.10328.78
Firmware: 3047.0000.1326.2005
Hardware 1.0.0.0
Chip SOC version 8960

In the light of this, my advice is to take it back to where you bought it from. There's clearly something wrong with your unit.
The Lumia 925 is a great phone. Don't let this bad experience change your opinion of the model. You may have had bad luck with yours, but it doesn't mean that *every* Lumis 925 suffers from the same fault!
Have it looked at by your nearest Nokia care point or, if you got it from an operator, contact them instead for the procedure to follow. They might even be able to give you further advice and things to try that could fix it for you without having to send it off.

Laserjet printer automatically turns on after shut off

Hi , I understand that after turning the printer off, it automatically turns on again. I will certainly do my best to help you. I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.

Event doesn't switch context after switching jpane & class

Hi,
I have (almost) managed the concept (tight) coupling. I switch panels on the display by invoking a method in the parent. However something strange occurs:
I have a first panel with an actionListener, getting a user name.
I have a second panel showing a simple list of choices 1 .. 2.. 3 .. also with an actionListener.
When I switch the panels from the usernamepanel to the choicespanel I see the choicespanel,
but making a choice and pressing <enter> tells me to put in a userID (I cleaned that field on the first panel).
So the actionListener defined with the choicespanel is not 'in control'.
And the actionListener with the username still is.
Explicitly removing the actionListener from the first panel does not help (?!)
Would you know what it is that I do not understand about this situation?

Nokia CK-7W Car Kit won't switch off after switch...

Hi,
I have a CK-7W car kit (connected via bluetooth).
Recently, the car kit has been reconnecting 2 to 3 seconds after switching the engine of the car off. I cannot seem to stop this from happening, even when clearing memory or even disconnecting the car battery for 20 mins.
Any advice on how to reset the car kit would be helpful.

The car kit was installed by a Car Phone Warehouse Nokia approved fitter about 4 years ago The kit has worked really well until recently!
The contol button doesn't seem to be stuck in and responds as it should to button presses. In terms of the cable being squashed or damaged. Obviously there is a chance, but in actual fact, only an inch is on show before it is hidden behind the dashboard. In this instance I'm not sure what damage might occur since I don't know how to remove the dash!
Apologies, I'm not certain I understand your comment re:
- "You can rule out the button by disconnecting it then starting the car and connecting, before switching off the car to see if the kit shuts down."
How do I disconnect the button? Does it pull away from the lead / cable?

I have had used D Link router before, and I faced problems to connect my computer.
Now I bought Netgear, and it shows strongly better than the f.... D Link...
Try:
Settings>>WiFi, and then turn off Ask for Conection;
Or:
Settings>>Privacity, be sure the Location Service is turn on;
Or:
In Settings>>General>>Reset, select "Reset all Adjusts". (Sorry, but it will change some personal adjustments, but will not delete anything at all)

For the issue, please check your Sound setting.
Firstly, let us unplug the HDMI Device.
Meanwhile, please open Control Panel>Sound:
Please check your default sound device to see if it remains use HDMI.

Disk permissions changed after switching off FileVault

I found my disk permissions changed after switching off FileVault, nearly everything belongs to "system" now.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me what permissions are standard for
-Desktop
-Applications
-System
-Libary

Assuming you're just talking about the Owner being System then:
The owner of Desktop should be your user name.
Applications and System should be System. Since these are not in your Home folder these permissions would have been corrected when you ran Repair Disk Permissions.
The Library folder depends on which Library folder you are talking about. If it's the Library folder that's in the same folder as System and Applications, then the Owner should be System, as well. Again, if that is not in your Home folder, then the permissions repair would have corrected it.
If, however, it's the Library that's in your Home folder, then it should have your username as the Owner.
Filevault only affects things that are in your Home folder so turning it on/off doesn't affect permissions anywhere else.
