Nokia 1208 only Russian/English

Hallo Guys,
I have Nokia 1208 with only 2 Languages (Russian and English). And I need German. What must I do? Can anyone help?
P.S. my English is poor, sorry.

The 1208 is a basic budget phone with very little ability. I seriously doubt that it's possible to change the languages on it and, even if it were possible, it would cost more than a new phone.
The 1208 costs about €25 SIM-free. Buy one intended for the German market.

How am i supposed to type the cyrillic characters in order to get the russian words translated to swedish??
I select "russian" as a source, and "swedish" as a target, but the only languages awailable for input are: English, Suomi, Swenska.
Please help.

Go to Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Language>Phone language.
This will show you the languages that exist for the phone interface in general. If you bought in Sweden, you would probably only have English, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic.
If you have any languages that don't use the Roman alphabet, then you'd be able to use the characters of that language by selecting it as the phone language, but not otherwise.
The dictionary is a separate application, not an integral part of the phone software, even though it was preinstalled, so it has not affect on the performance of the phone as a whole.

Problem with Nokia 1208

I've had my Nokia 1208 for about a year, but an icon has appeared on the screen, out of the blue, which i dont recognise. It is a bent arrow pointing upwards. SInce this has appeared no-one is receiving my texts. I can receive them & it looks like they have been sent. I thaught I may have diverted them somehow by mistake, But when i look for divertion options, they are none in my settings. Hope this is clear.

This has happened because your phone was imported from another region (most likely by the retailer) and had additional languages added to it.
When you perform a software update this wipes out the additional languages and resets it to it's original state.
The only way to get your language back is to visit a nokia care point/service centre and ask them to install your language for you.

Nokia 1208 - Any way to d/load ringtones?

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere. I've searched the forums and FAQs and can't find an answer to this simple question: Is there any way to download ringtones onto a Nokia 1208? I have the cable, I d/l'd some sort of freeware that doesn't work. The manual is no help. I think the answer is going to be "no", but I want to be sure.

The 1208 has no cable connectivity (the USB socket if there is one is only for service personnel), no bluetooth connectivity and no microbrowser. It is a budget range phone with extremely limited features.
The only way to get new ringtones onto it is to have your provider or a third party vendor send them to you by SMS. You cannot transfer MP3 or MIDI files over to it and use them.

Why do I get the movies only in english?

As a new Apple TV user this might be a stupid question for pros on Apple TV. Nevertheless, why do I get the movies which I wanted to receive in the German version only in the English version. I make my choice in the German iTunes-Store, I watch the trailers in German, but when I order the movie, I get it only in English. Am I stupid or what?

Hartwin, that's odd. Does this happen with every movie you've rented?
And do you perhaps have a US iTunes account that you're using to order from?
Other than that, I really can't think of an answer.

I have tried downloading several fonts, including those from professional societies, but the only way to get Hebrew in my document is to cut and paste. Does anyone know how to fix this? I use an older MacBook running OS 10.9.1. I used to do my Hebrew work in Word, but it is no longer supported by Mac OS.

Just clarifying:
Pages '09 has bad support for Hebrew, Arabic etc but will accept pasted text.
Pages 5 has much better support but with bugs.
If you have columns they are in the wrong order ie Text starts in the left column and ends in the right column.
If you type English into Hebrew text it tends to fall in the wrong position eg instead of to the left of Hebrew punctuation it goes to the right.
As Tom recommends the only real solution on the Mac is Mellel.

btw Tell Apple, they are amazingly slow to fix this running sore which has been broken since RtoL was supposedly introduced in OSX 10.2.3 over a decade ago.

What model G3 is it? An iMac, a PowerMac, a MacBook, or a PowerBook? What is the processor (machine) speed?

Nokia 1208 security code

While i was using my Nokia 1208 last night, it spontaneously turned off. When i turned it back on and typed in my PIN, it requested a security code. The default 12345 wouldn t work and i have never changed the code. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the first time it was just impossible to fix it so i bought a new 1. Can some please help or post of you have had a similar problem!

if the default code is not 12345 the operator must have changed it try calling them
try removing battery for ten minutes 1st then repeat the proccess if that fails call operator
or try the following
1. Get the phone reflashed.
2. On some phones the reset function will also reset the code to 12345.
You could try the second option but no guarantees it will work on your phone. Also, you may lose all your data if you reset the phone so remember to back it up before resetting.
Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.

On the tool's option bar, type 300 px & 200 px, and the desired resolution.

Oracle Apps R12 :: Numeric character to be entered only in english

do we have any option to restrict the users to enter numeric data only in english characters even though they login as non english user( for example Arabic).

It is still in my preferences section. but even when I paste it in, I still get the Japanese site. How do I get the English site back, and ensure that I never see the japanese site on my computer ever again?

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language.
There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.
You can click the link at the bottom of the local Google page (www.google.xx.xx) to go to the [http://www.gooogle.com/ncr "Google.com in English"] site.
You may need to hover that local Google page with the mouse to make extra content appear.
You can set the Google preferences on the [http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en Google Search settings] page (link at the top right).

I use Adobe Creative Design Web Premium Suite CS 6.0 on my computer here.
I have the second license installed om my Notebook at home.
Now I become a new very fast WIN 7 Computer and I would install CS 6 before I work with this computer in 1..2 Weeks on this new Computer - without deactivate first here on my working Computer.
Is that possible?
Par example I install on my new computer CS6 with the activation Nr., then I become a message I can't install before i deactivate one license....???

First Answer: No, the forums are not only in English language, but they are supported by a majority of people that do speak the English language. If you look you will see an option to "Translate" which can sometimes be used to translate a posting to a different language. I say "Sometimes" because sometimes it is broken and will not work and sometimes it will translate something to a form that is hard to understand.
As far as your activations go, you are only allowed two activations at any given time. So if you have two already activated then you need to deactivate (Help -> Deactivate) one of them in order to activate yet another machine.
