Nokia 2323 Contacts: Multiple entries per contact ...

Hello Everyone,
Greetings
I am planning to buy Nokia 2323 Classic phone. gsmarena informs that it can save 1000 contacts. What I need to know is that does this phone accept multiple entries per contact. For example: Work Phone, Home Phone, Fax, Mobile Phone etc. If yes, then how many entries can each contact take? Also, if we add multiple entries then would it reduce the number of contacts we can save?
I have googled but it doesn't help. Also tried looking at the online user guide of Nokia 2323. It talks about going into Details menu and then entering Add detail but doesn't mention what kind of "details" it takes. I would be really glad if some one who has seen/used the phone could help.
Thank you.
Regards

Now that I'm not so sure about. The phone will either have a certain amount of memory put aside for contacts and usually you can't tell how much but you can check how much of it you have used as a percentage or it will let the contacts share the same memory as your messages and everything else and when you check your memory it will just tell you how much the contacts are using. I haven't used that phone but I think the 1st case applies to it

  • Multiple entries per contact - What number was used?

I must be missing something... My wife called while I was away from my phone. I look on the "Recent" screen and see her name. But how do I tell where she called me from? I have her office and cell number on the phone. If I hit the arrow which gives me details, it doesn't show me the number that she called from. There are stars next to her office and cell number...
I can certainly touch the name and it'll call the number back that she called from. But I'd like to know the number before I call. What if I want to call her from my office versus returning the call on my iPhone?
    Am I missing something?

I've had instances where none of the numbers are highlighted at all. If I go back to the home screen and go back to the recent calls list, then go into an entry, then they are highlighted. Has happened twice now.

  • Multiple entries per line on MTRs

    Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the multiple line items are when running an MTR?  I previously though that the "extra" line entries were the various paths that an ICMP packet may take to the destination, but I have observed that the last hop will occassionally contain multiple entries, as well. This is confusing me in my newbness.  Can anyone help provide some insight into this?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,
If you see how to read MTR output just check the below example which has the heading

The above output shows the packet loss occured while the device coming in between to destination with ping responce of last, latest and avg fromwhere we can come to conclusion where is the problematic area like if you see the above output router at 194.19.98.129 is having haigh packet loss,it can be problem with routing protocol, if the lag is a bad route, cached arp, or bad routing tables.

  • Multiple entries in Contacts

I've tried syncing my iPhone with a MacBook several times. At first it worked fine. Then all of a sudden the Phone had FOUR entries for each name in my address book.
I reset the phone, turned on/off iTunes and synched again, to no avail. Nothing on the computer changed and there were still multiple addresses.
I tried checking the box to have the computer overwrite the Phone contacts. Still nothing...
Anyone have a solution or come across this?
    Any idea WHY this happened?

    Allan,

  • Only multiple entries in BP when creating a new table/field with EEW

    Hi,
I am creating new tables/fields for BP in CRM 4.0 using transaction EEWB.
This is working quite well but the fields that appear allows multiple entries per BP. I just want one single entry per BP.
The wizard talks about multiple options but I cannot see how I define that if it should be a single entry or multiple.
Any idea how to achieve that?
    Thanks,
    //anders

    Hi
As i know the fields will be multiple only, u can try for 'default'
and also try in the wizard in step 2
The Process of EEW will be like this
    1. To add new fields to the business partner, use the business object Business Partner (BUPA) and create an enhancement of the type "Add New Fields". A wizard helps you define the individual enhancements and provides you with the necessary information for each step.
2 For each field, you must define the field name, data type and, if necessary, the field length.
3 For each field, define whether a check table should be available.
4 For each field, you must also determine whether it should be transferred to SAP BI or to CRM Field Applications.
5 In the last wizard screen, the system shows you an overview of the fields you defined, together with their associated attributes.
6 To start generation, choose Complete.
I hope u can solve ur prob in Step 2 data type
    cheers

  • How do I sync my iPhone Contacts with my Macbook Contacts?

I know I am supposed to be able to use iCloud to sync the two Contact address books together, however it definitely isnt syncing them.  It's almost like managing two seperate Contacts.  I have iCloud turned on on both.  On my iPhone Contacts is selected.  On my Macbook for some reason it shows my iCloud account twice, but it still doesn't seem to be syncing.  Newer contacts I place on my iPhone do not go on to my Macbook when I sync both devices and vice-versa.  Anyone know a fix for this?  It is a bit tedious to manually enter my contacts multiple times.

Macbook:  Contacts > Preferences > Accounts.  It has iCloud listed twice there.
It states I can delete the account from the Internet Accounts, however it is only listed there once and when I do delete it and re-add it, it is the same.

  • Contacts with Multiple Backup Assistant + Contacts Entries

I have read others with these same issues.  Unfortunately, the responses they are getting have to do with having multiple contacts and joining those contacts.  That is not the issue.  The issue is that each contact has MULTIPLE Backup Assistant + Contact entries.  Meaning, when you you start typing a name to send a text message to, it shows you multiple phone numbers for that person (only, they are all the same phone number).  For example, if I start typing Zoe, it will show you contacts that match, it will have Zoe 555-555-5555 listed 6, 7, 8, or more times.  But wait, that is the home number, how you keep scrolling them until you get to the mobile number which is also listed 6, 7, 8 or more times.  When you go into you contacts and select Zoe, and then go to Edit, you see why - There are 6, 7, 8 or more Backup Assistant + Contacts entries!!!  These duplicates are what we are wanting to know how to remove.  My daughter has only one phone number, but when I click on the her picture in the favorite contacts widget, it shows 2 and they are both the same.  Even the BAL #225 shows up EIGHT times!!!!!   When you go online (to the Backup Assistant), they are all listed there too.  HELP!!!!!!!

I have no prblem syncing multiple mobile numbers so I don't think it's a universal issue with iOS. The only difference I see is I am using CardDav instead of using the Exchange option. Have you tried it that way? You can urn off contacts in the Exchange account and add the CardDav account separately.

Contacts producing multiple entries as does Calender. How to stop and fix pls?

ok easiest way it to restore to factory setting and start from there. When you go to do your first sync you don’t “sync contacts or calendar”. When you add mobile me onto your Ipad select all the services that you want to enable and then mobile me will keep everything in sync.
If you need futher steps let me know

The Profile Manager is for all versions of Firefox you have installed - every Profile that is listed in the '''profiles.ini''' file will appear there. The location of the Profile folders has no effect on what the Profile Manager dialog window shows. There is no way to set it up relative to one program installation.
Best thing to do is to have separate desktop shortcuts for each Profile / Firefox-version you want to use.

  • Max phone numbers per contact in the phonebook for...

    Hi,
I have Nokia 5300 which is running s40. I also have a Nokia N70 which is running s60.
Nokia N70 can store more than 5 phone numbers per contact where as 5300 can only store 5 which i found out when i tried sending a business vCard. I was wondering whether this is a problem because of the s40 version on 5300 and whether there is a software update for this. If not, i would just like to know what is the reason (out of curiosity - is it the 5300 hardware and runs s40 or something else ...).
    Thanks & Regards,
PS: I found out that Phonebook is part of the OS/firmware for the phone.

The S40 Nokia operating system - what the 5300 is based on - is in many ways simpler & more limited than S60/Symbian. (In some ways it is also more efficient and at least simpler/smaller.)

  • How do I send to contacts multiple email addresses at one time?

I have several contacts who ask that emails be sent to multiple emails address at the same time.  How do I do that without creating additional cards for each email address?

Are you entering the addressees into Mail individually or are they included as part of an Address Book group? If you are using a group, I believe you will need to have multiple cards per individual.
If you are typing the addressees into Mail's "To:" and "Cc:" boxes, you can select among multiple addresses on one contact card just as you would select among multiple people with the same first name; just repeat for each address.

Press the Contact button once, the Contact list screen shows up.  At the bottom of the screen is the search bar.  When I press any of the alpha-numeric keys, the alphabet (or number depending on how many times I press the same key) appears momentarily but disappears within less than a second.  So now I CANNOT do a search.  I have to scroll up or down!
I've since tried multiple things:  re-boot phone several times, take out sim card + mem card and then do software reset, re-install the firmware under Ovi Suite's Software Update menu option.  None help so far.

    peteralmere,
Answers to your questions are no to all.  But I don't see why such legitimate usages (off phone overnight, batt out > 25min) should/can mess contact search.  This simply should not happen in any phone, even the cheapest entry level phone.
Is 2 contacts too many to have ?  As I mentioned, it did't work even with just 2 entries (all entered in English) in my experiment.
It's a firmware issue that the E52 firmware development team messed up and their validation team missed.  Not the issue of how I use my phone or how many contacts I've got.
