iunderstand this modle cannot be connected via data cable. When i connect through bluetooth i get the following msg authentication failed & when i try through one touch access i get the msg bluetooth modem not installed i have installed Nokia PC suite version 7.0.8.2 & also blueSoleil 2.6.0.9 Release 070606 Stack Version 06.03.29.20061212.
Pl tell me how to proceed from begining . My Operating sys Windows XP SPII,i have external bluetooth adaptor

According to one of the reviews on this page yes it is possible and works with Macs and PCs.
Works great as a Bluetooth modem with EDGE service on T-Moblie using both Macs and PCs.

Problem solved!! I finally managed to pair the SE HCB-100 car kit speakerphone with the 3GS. I surfed the SE web site and it mentioned resetting the speakerphone. Tried it on 'one color ID' but it didn't work so I did it on all 'color IDs' and left it on reset mode when it 'accidentally' was picked up by my 3GS while searching!!! Found 'headset' and then recognised it as HCB-100. One happy guy for the holidays!!!

IPhone not connecting through Bluetooth on iMac 21.5 inch with Nvidia 750 M

On my iMac 21.5 with Nvidia 750 M, both of my iPhones (iPhone 5s and iPhone 6) won't connect through bluetooth. I've tried disconnecting my wireless keyboard and mouse. The same connection error would pop-up. *By the way, you can talk in programmer's terms to me.*

If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5458

Nokia 9500 connect without Bluetooth

Hi all!
I have searched the forums and on google, but didn't find any answers.
Everybody (who has one) seems to connect their Nokia 9500 Communicator via Bluetooth to a Powerbook.
Is there a possibility to connect via the provided USB-cable? When I plug in the cable, it seems that the phone is not even recognized. It should show up in Network preferences --> Network Port Configurations, shouldn't it? So that I can set it up as a wireless modem.
Is there anything that I am missing?
I hope you can give me some pointers.

Unfortunately, iSync does not support the synchronization of Nokia mobile handsets via USB: you must use a Bluetooth link.
If your computer is not equipped with built-in Bluetooth, you can purchase a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth USB adapter—which is explicitly supported by Apple, and to which you can apply Apple Bluetooth firmware updates—or, you can take your chances [with varying degrees of success] with other Bluetooth adapters.

How to restrict grant connect through with Data Vault

I need to restrict the ability to grant proxy privileges in the database. This is the statement: alter user USER_A grant connect through USER_B;
I tried creating this rule that looks at the sql text for %CONNECT THROUGH% in the statement and then added it to the "Can Maintain Own Account" Rule Set which is attached to the Alter System command but it doesn't appear to be working. How can I get this working? Is my rule that I created correct. Ultimately what I want to do is allow proxies to be created for most users but just restrict only certain special users.

That being said - there are authorization checks that you can create for SE16.
Create an authorization field via SU20. Create the object via SU21.
Create a role. Add transaction SE16 to the role. Create a profile. Activity would be display. And then you can add the objects that you created.
Again you may get a better answer from someone who does security everyday. I'd suggest posting in the security forum.

Yes, Data connection works. I can connect to Xcel, Access, xml data.
In fact What I am trying is to do is thi:
1 - From a user interface with some select dn list box
2 - Use adodb connection to pull data from an access database with the selected info in the UI
3 - format selected data as xml and load xml data into xcelsius- Run Time.
That is quite simple with xml button but otherwise it seems difficult. I have tried different things but how to trigger the script is the problem
Any idea?

IPhone 5s - Vimeo won't connect through bluetooth.

I have an iPhone 5s. The bluetooth connects to the audio system of my car. YouTube broadcasts through my system, the phone and radio apps, etc. all play. However, I can't get Vimeo to play. Is there a setting on Vimeo that I am missing? Suggestions?

hard to find help on this once, or im just being stupid, but im trying to connect to my macbook unibody late 2009 (OS.X 10.6.3), and it just wont stay connected let alone open up iTunes. i was just hoping for wireless integration between my mac and phone, say as i walked into the room or something..?

You can use the iPhone with hands-free Bluetooth headsets and Bluetooth car kits. iPhone also supports Bluetooth stereo headphone devices when using iPod. Some apps use bluetooth for peer-to-peer connections for game, etc. There is no support for file transfer or bluetooth sync between your computer and the iPhone. Apple Mighty Mouse not staying connected through Bluetooth

I just purchased the Apple Mighty Mouse with my new MacBook Pro. The next day when I come back to the notebook and start up, it does not have the mouse connected. It can see it, but does not automatically connect to it. Does it matter that sometimes I leave the mouse at home and use the notebook. I come back home and I expect that it should know to automatically connect to it when I turn the mouse back on. Sometimes I leave the mouse on without turning it off. HT1430 I drive a 2011 Ford Escape with sync technology. My iphone 4 on the osi 6 would connect through bluetooth and allow me the handsfree access on the steering wheel to run my music. It won't let me change with osi 7

I cannot figure out why the new upgrade osi 7 will not allow me to use the bluetooth control in my 2011 ford escape to be able to change the song on the steering wheel like I could with osi 6. It's making me log into my phone to be able to change it and I don't text and drive so this is defeating the whole purpose of hands free.

Nokia 6700 connection to pc off and on

My new nokia 6700 connects to my computer through the pc suite no problem,but the connection only lasts for a few seconds.First it says connected , then disconnected , not leaving any time to do any work through the pc.
Is there any setting on the phone I can adjust, I have tried 3 different usb leads also connection through bluetooth, all with the same results.My other phones connect well .Can anyone please help !

PC Suite & Nokia Ovi Suite via Bluetooth on Nokia ...

I had a tough time in getting the Nokia N8 in sync with the latest Nokia PC Suite which will recognise the N8 (version 7.1.40.9) together with the Nokia Ovi Suite through bluetooth. It was a nightmare! I don't use to have any troubles in connecting any Nokia phones via bluetooth but I do have a problem with the N8.
After searching through various forums and blogs, I have come to a conclusion. There is a workaround the problem when it pertains to the Nokia PC Suite. I rarely use the Nokia Ovi Suite because the Ovi Suite would not allow me to sync calender items for more than 6 weeks. With the Nokia PC Suite, it will allow a user to sync any items for 99 years! Can you believe it? However, not all are lost. The Ovi Suite is better in terms of installing updated maps on the N8 though. You would not be able to do so on the Nokia PC Suite.
When it comes to synchronising your N8 with your PC Suite/ Ovi Suite via bluetooth, you need to take care. The steps will be as follows:
(1) Install the latest Nokia Ovi Suite and or PC Suite Suite version 7.1.40.9.
(2) Don't run Ovi/Nokia PC Suite. If they are running on the taskbar, right click to exit all of them.
(3) Enable bluetooth on your N8 and then right click on the bluetooth devices icon at the bottom right of your laptop.
(4) Once you have right clicked on the bluetooth devices icon, select 'add devices'.
(5) Follow the prompts on your N8 and also on your laptop/pc.
(6) Please make sure that your N8's bluetooth is on 'discoverable'. Otherwise your laptop/pc will not be able to pick up the signal.
(7) Follow the instructions given and then reboot your laptop/pc.
After that, you would need to fire up your PC Suite or Ovi Suite but not both at the same time. Use PC Suite to sync your contacts/messages/calenders while use the Ovi Suite to install and update your map on your Nokia devices.

Pls help. I'm able to connect my N8 to my laptop's win7 home premium but not to OVI suite or PC Suite.
They get connected with N8 over cable but not over bluetooth. PC Suite says "Can not authenticate the phone" and ovi suite keeps checking the "Phone's bluetooth capabilities".
Kindly help.
