Hello friends, I am StanleyKero, I am New To This. I Found Out That You Can Play Videos from Youtube In NOKIA-2690 in Only [IDEA SIM] its Compulsory. Do This Setting=>
1.Go To Settings Menu.
2.Select Configuration.
3.Personal configuration.
4.ADD NEW.
5.Select Streaming.
6.First Leave the Account Name As My Streaming.
7.UDP PORT RANGE: 1024-65535.
8.Prefered Access Point.
9.YES.<u should have idea settings 1st only>
10.NOW SAVE AND SWITCH OFF AND SWITCH ON. U CAN SEE YOUTUBE VIDEOS IN 2690. IF U CAN WATCH VIDEOS BY THIS SETTING PLEASE REPLY TO ME By Private Message}

It should work with any other SIM as well provided you have the access point of your operator. Not something exclusive to idea.

Nokia 2690 streaming problems

Initially, my nokia 2690 was able to stream all of videos on youtube and other websites. But a few days earlier, it has started giving an error message "File format not supported" for almost all videos while streaming. I don't think that there might ad something wrong with the streaming settings as it still streams few of the videos from the internet. I use built in opera mini browser that takes of directly to the built in music player for streaming. My phone software version is 10.10. Please help.

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device, via checking via Nokia Suite on your PC? if there are any updates, please update to the latest version offered. Failign that, you can try Restoring your phone to factory settings.
If that doesn't work either, then i would also check that you still have the correct network carrier settings, and data plan settings, and that your data plan with your network carrier is still activated. Also check the condition of your SIM card as that may be an issue.
Failing that, you may need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

Youtube not working in nokia 2690

Hi,
I have been trying to run youtube videos in opera mini browser in my nokia 2690 without any success.
I do not suspect a problem with connection speed because websites load quite swiftly on the EDGE connection. Could it be that my service provider is not supporting streaming ( i think there is a particular protocol for it, i am not sure though).
Also, is there any version of bolt browser that runs on this phone ?

Youtube page which loads on your opera mini shouldn't be pc version(full screen) .
You should visit mobile version m.youtube.com.
Make sure that your default browser works and the access point is correct and it is activated for all applications.
For bolt browser visit boltbrowser.com.
Using opera mini links your music player to play youtube videos so there is no need of any streaming settings and it is better than bolt.

Nokia 2690 vs Nokia C2-03

Well I have bought nokia c2-03 but after using it for few hours I was really get disappointed as when it is compared to nokia 2690 it lacks :
There is no streaming support
Text in the text field can't be either marked or cut, copy, paste
there is no voice commands
Moreover there is Personal Area Network(PAN) support for bluetooth as seen in every s40 phones
Its really disappointing that these features are not there in Nokia c2-03 which is more than 75% expensive than nokia 2690 which has all the features....I nokia will soon lost all its share from the market...

Fastest Quicktime Streaming Setting

Hey there...
I am sure this question has been asked before, but I did a search of the forums and couldn't find what I was looking for, so I will ask it again...
I have some sample clips of my work on my website. They are currently streaming quicktime files. I can't help but feel that I do not get the response to them that I expect because the files take too long to load if you do not have an extremely fast connection. I want to keep the clips I have up now, but compress the size of the files down even more so they load quicker. Currently a clip that's about 1:10 is around 13MB, which I know is too big for quick streaming for lower speeds. I compressed them using the default web streaming setting for Compressor 2.
What would be the best setting I can use to compress them down to an even smaller size for quicker streaming while still retaining a respectable image quality?

Hi,
Broadly speaking iChat "reads" the Quicktime setting.
In iChat 2 and 3 this gets read as a 0kbps at times at the Automatic setting.
In iChat 4 this is preset to 384kbps but may still be below your Upload speed.
We have long been suggesting that you use 1.5Mbps in Quicktime (this will be as fast as most Video Streaming web sites) so that iChat stores the fastest possible setting (Intranet/LAN also produced strange figures in iChat 3).
In iChat > Preferences > Video Section there is the Bandwidth Limit setting.
This can help with connection that vary a great deal by capping iChat to a lower Limit (Try 500kbps first).
This can also help if buddies have a larger upload speed than you have Download even though iChat tends to work at whichever is your lower speed which in turn in normally the Upload. (it saves the iChat Buffering extra work which can smooth out Video or Audio issues)

Streams set up question

I'm currently following the oracle example of setting up streams between two databases. The procedure can be found here: http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14228/man_gen_rep.htm#i1012569
I've done all the steps and have the 'capture stream' and 'propogation streams' set up on my first database and have the 'apply stream' set up on my second database.
The database link from the first to the second is working and the capture and apply processes are enabled. But when i insert rows into a table of the first database it's not being applied to the second. I'm not sure what's going on.
How can i check to see if the GLOBAL_NAMES parameter is set properly?

There are number of causes which might do this, the same thing i was facing, what i find my SCN number was not setting up properly.
Check the status of Global_names as

Very slow GPRS on Nokia 2690

thats not because of your phone, did you try your sim in some other phones? Speed or bandwith depends on your network. If someone using same network is faster than your's contact your service provider

Cannot get HLS Live streaming to work

I'm struggling to get things going on the HTTP live streaming side.
I'm using FMLE 3.2 w/ Flash Media Server 4.5.
Format: H.264
Frame Rate: 29.97
Bit Rate: 800Kpbs
Profile: Main
Leven: 3.1
Keyframe Frequency: 4 Seconds
I'm streaming to:
FMS URL: rtmp://hostname/livepkgr
STREAM: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent
I have verified the stream is working by connecting via flash to
rtmp://<HOST-NAME>/livepkgr
livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent
I can't get the stream to play in iOs/Safari. I've been trying using the instructions via this doc (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd609-52e437a812a3725df a0-8000.html)
If I try to access the following file: http://<HOST-NAME>/hls-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.m3u8 I get FILE NOT FOUND.
Looking on the FMS machine under /opt/adobe/fms/applications/livepkgr/events/_definst_/liveevent is see no files other than Event.xml and Manifest.xml
So...it seems like no stream is being created in the livepkgr. What can I do to troubleshoot?

Sounds like the hls-live alias isn't working? Off to check Apache. That alias is supposed to be set up by default isn't it?

I recently bought a nokia 2690. I have change the time and date of the phone but whenever I receive a new text message the time is delayed or different. Can anyone help me please

I don't think there is any other setting like setting the time zone in your phone.. so nothing more... By the way is the time difference/delay remaining constant for all the nessages or changing ? and if constant by how much minutes ?

Error "No entry in table T551A" while creating set work schedule rule.

Dear Team,
I am getting following error while creating set work schedule rule.
Error "No entry in table T551A" for key 22 BBB [ here BBBB is my period work schedule]
The actual prob is i configured all the necessary steps but when i tried to create work schedule rule im getting this error. Also, in the same screen there is one field DWS grouping initially value in this is 00 and gread mode. But after giving ES grp, holiday calander ID etc etc when i try to save that screen that value is chainging to 22 from 00.
My ES grop=2 and PS grop=2 . Is that value is my ES and PS grouping..?? or some other thing.

1. Group Personnel Subareas for the Daily Work Schedule
2. Group Personnel Subareas for the Work Schedule
3. Define Break Schedules
4. Define Daily Work Schedules
5. Define Period Work Schedules
6. Define Employee Subgroup Groupings
7. Define Groupings for the Public Holiday Calendar
8. Set Work Schedule Rules and Work Schedules
All of them belong to TIME MANAGEMENT. I think you miss some steps above.
Please check it again.

Unable to set working directory (-2147024832) for some app installs

I've found several drivers on a Dell Laptop that don't play well with others in MDT 2012, so I started making an application install package for them instead. Most of them fail with an "unable to set working directory" error. I checked
the app install logs and they don't really make any sense to me. I know the process as a whole works, because I can install .Net 4.0 runtimes without any problems using the same method. The important bits of the ZTI App log are below. Would
be for any guidance on this, as I'm stumped and none of the searches on the exact errors are of much help.
A sample error returned in the wizard is:

The ZTIApplication.log file contains the following... the first is one that works (.NET 4), the second is one that fails. (Not using code block for this one, it doesn't like it).

I'm not familiar with how Dell does their client side software, but for the server-side software (my area of expertise), I've always done something like the following:
I recommend running every application install in a VBScript/Powershell wrapper. You get logging for the application back on your SLShare as well as its cleaner (you can replace Drivers A05 with A06 by changing the script, rather than editing the application
in MDT).

I always copy any drivers that are installed after the fact (everything for me other than SAS/NIC drivers) to the C:\Temp as it can break. I always update my NIC drivers during the build to the latest Dell software using their packs. I try to
not mess with my boot image unless I'm adding a new model that is not supported by the built-in drivers.

Thank you for the question. If the Apple ID used for your iOS devices matches what is being used on the computer, try disabling Photo Stream and enabling it again. Next, try the steps in the article below.
I don't see any photos in the My Photo Stream view of iPhoto or Aperture.
Make sure your Mac has an active Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. If you can't connect to the Internet, updates to My Photo Stream will not appear in iPhoto or Aperture. If necessary, review the instructions for troubleshooting your Internet connection on your Mac.
From your Mac, choose System Preferences > iCloud. Make sure that the Photo Stream checkbox is selected and you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices.
Open iPhoto or Aperture, then choose Preferences > iCloud (or Photo Stream).
If you're using iPhoto 9.4 or later, or Aperture 3.4 or later, make sure that the My Photo Stream checkbox is selected. If you'd like all new photos that you've uploaded to your iPhoto or Aperture library to be uploaded to My Photo Stream, make sure that the Automatic Upload checkbox is selected as well.
If you're using iPhoto 9.2.2 through 9.3.2, or Aperture 3.2.3 through 3.3.2, make sure that the Enable Photo Stream and Automatic Import checkboxes are selected.

On your Mac disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.
