Nokia 2760 Transfering RECIEVED photos to laptop

Hello there how,s it going? Here,s one for ya. I can use my phone and laptop bluetooth dongle thingy pretty good. Ive put photos on to laptop and got stuff from my laptop and put on phone BUT only untill today when someone sent me a photo of their 9 little piglets(they own a farm) and i thought i had better put on my laptop before i delete by mistake. And ive realised the option to send via bluetooth to laptop isnt there. Well, its not an option. Im paired up alright, if I had taken the photo myself on MY phone then transfering it would of been straight forward as ive done it many a time. Am i right or just being a dorkhead?

How were the photoes sent to you..? Normally if its in your Inbox... when the photo is Open there should be some option available to 'SAVE'.. If you select that it gets saved in the Gallery..Once there you can connect the Phone to Laptop and browse your phone folders to locate the photo in Windows explorer.. Simply Copy - Paste from there..
..or see the possibility to send it to your own e-mail address (thru' e-mail) and access it on your Laptop..

Transfering edited photos from laptop to PC

When I've keyworded, edited, and rated photos on my laptop, can I then transfer these photos to my PC so the original photos, along with all these types of changes, are still visible and actively adjustable (e.g. the ability to clear a crop) in the Lightroom Develop module?

Run Export as Catalog on laptop, then Import from Catalog on PC. If it's the whole catalog, no need for first ste; just copy over the .lrcat and image files, then Import as Catalog.

Transfering photos from my Nokia 2760 over bluetoo...

Using either Microsoft or Bluesoleil bluetooth drivers to transfer photos from my Nokia 2760 to my PC results in garbled jpegs. When I view the jpegs in any image viewer they appear as lines of 8x8 pixel, colored blocks.
Photos I've emailed myself are normal - just as they appear on my phone.
Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution?
I can't get Nokia PC suite to authenticate my phone no matter what I try - so don't suggest that.

What happens with the OVI Suite.. You should be able to sync easily..
Just connect the phone.. In the suite .. goto Sync-->sync now-->Photos
If not thru' OVI Suite then you can do it thru' Windows Explorer.. Browse your phone folders for photos and Copy- Paste to desired folder on PC..

Hello iv recently transferred my photos to my iphone from my laptop 3600 photos but when i go to upload a photo to facebook it will only access my camera roll photos not the 3600 ones.. can somebody please help.

I am having same issue! After May 14 FB update, I can't choose ANY photos from my photo library to upload to FB mobile. It's ONLY allowing me to select from Camera Roll. It works from ipad and ipod, just not iphone 5? I used to get choices from all of my photos in Photo Library. And it has nothing to do with the privacy settings, etc that users experienced with update to IOS6. Everything is enabled and WAS working prior to may14 FB app update. Funny thing is, on the May 13 update that FB had it worked fine. When they did May 14 update, that was it. I've sent and posted notices on those discussion boards too. Hopefully they will fix soon.

How do I transfer photos from laptop to my ipad mini?

You can e-mail them to yourself.
You can upload them to something like dropbox then download them onto your ipad
If you get the camera connection kit and an SD card you can put the photos onto the SD card (there is a naming convention to follow) then export them off the SD card onto your iPad.
There are photo syncing apps although I don't have one to recommend
You can use iTunes to sync them onto your ipad (although what you sync on via iTunes you must use iTunes to sync off when you're done with them so it may/may not be the best way for you)

Hi CharlesHP,The place where I bought my computer and camera installed everything. I know they installed the software for the Canon. I've always gone to the Pictures folder and found the photos. I will do what you suggest ....... "If still not finding the pictures, maybe start a new transfer and before clicking that "transfer", read the text on the dialog? there should be a folder name where the pictures are going or a button or something to let you make changes". I transferred some photos to my iphone via email and they have very low resolution. First I sent them from iPhoto with highest resolution, then I transferred them to my desktop in highest resolution and added them to an email, opened the email and saved to my Camera roll. They all look like low resolution photos.This is the exact method I have used to transfer photos in the past with my 4S and never had a problem. What am I doing wrong? Is this a bad camera? My husband has the same phone, we purchased them at the same time. I sent him the same photos in the same email that I downloaded them from and on his phone they show up with the normal higher resolution. Is it possible that there is something wrong with my iPhone or is there a setting that can be changed? I'm still learning to use it. All my other photos are of normal resolution. Does this make any sense to anyone?

Okay, can someone please give a useful answer? Thanks! I have been experiencing exactly the same problem for some time now, and it is very annoying. Furthermore, I would like to point out to Chris CA that there is absolutely nothing ambiguous about the original post.
So here is the deal. I used to be able to burn CDs with iTunes that played back fine on both my car and home stereo. After some update, and I am very sorry but I really do not remember which one, as I am just a user and not a programmer and just want something that works, which in the end Apple used to be all about, and therefore do not keep track of all the updates, CDs won't play back on my car stereo. Nothing else changed, still the same brand of CDs (even the same stack!), still the same car stereo, and still the same 2007 MBP. So by simple deduction I conclude it must be a software update. And I do not care what the exact cause is, I just want a fix!
I'd like to apologize for my tone in the above, but it is just a very annoying problem, even more so because it seems nothing is being done about it. Thanks for your answer in advance!

Check the iPhoto trash - if they are there select them and right click and restore to library
If they are not there then they are gone
You really should take the time to learn how to use iPhoto - photos exist only in one place - in your events - albums, keepsakes, etc are just pointers to the actual photos in the event - deleting from an album does just that - deletes from the album - deleting from an event removes the photo and therefore all albums, keepsakes, etc
watch the videos as a starter - iPhoto help menu ==> iPhoto help and watch the video
also more details (for a previous version so some menu items are in different places but the concept is the same) - and it would be a worthwhile investment of time to take the iphoto tutorials - http://www.apple.com/findouthow/photos/ - they are very helpful and will save you a lot of time and frustration.

IIs there an export function from Lightroom? Did you export? Does the exported file contain your edit?
THe hard drive file size doesn't matter. What matters is the image size, it's dimensions in pixels.
IN FCP press Cmd-J to see the project properties.

Just transferred all photos to MacBook pro

Just transferred all photos in iPhoto library from imac to MacBook pro and when I click on some of the thumbnails it comes up with the triangle warning icon. Can I fix this?

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.

You can, but I would wait, until you have have been working with Photos for some time and are sure, that everything migrated well. There may be hidden flaws in your library and teething problems with Photos. Don't be in a hurry to abandon iPhoto completely. You may need to go back, until bugs have been fixed. Th Photos Library does not duplicate the photos in your iPhoto Library. the media files are shared and do not need extra space: See: Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries - Apple Support

If you have enough iCloud storage. But Photos will still need space for local thumbnails on all devices.

Hello I put a security code on my Nokia 2760 and I have not used it some time (4 months) because I do not have money to put credit on my SIM card .
And now I am trying to use the phone and I can not use it, it ask me for security code and I do not know it anymore.

In order to fix this issue, I would advise you to visit your local nokia care point. Your phone will be reseted to the default code "12345".
