Nokia 3500C -problem in file transferd via bluetoo...

I m using Nokia 3500C since feb 2008 but i have problem in file receiving or transferd via bluetooth while I have 256 MB memory card + Phone memory (8.2 MB) and used is 221 MB in memory card..
Free space in memory card is 12.5 MB
Free space in Phone memory is 27.5 KB
So being full memory card problem i have suffered or other else prob.

you have to free up ur phone memory first. otherwise it will not transfer any file via bluetooth. you need to have enough free space in the ph. memory so that it can hold a temp file of exactly the size of the file being transferred

Nokia 3500c does not enter synchronization via USB

Hello,
I've bought a new 3500 Classic Yesterday, and tried to synchronize it using PC Sync. The phone functions normally, with the exception of the following problem:
The phone is recognized as a USB device (see below for details), but fails with the following symptom: the "Nokia PC Sync" icon at the taskbar is grayed; a "Nokia 3500c" appears in the "Phone Selector" dialog, but is grayed; a "Nokia 3500c" appears as attached in Nokia PC Suite, however any attempt to synchronize content fails with "Refreshing Contacts Failed".
Other functionality on the USB interface appears to be working properly: I was able to copy files from my computer to the memory card in the "Data Storage" USB connection mode (as set from the phone); Windows also recognized the "USB Modem", and I was able for instance to "Query Modem" and get meaningful replies.
The same symptoms occured at 3 diferent computers, one of which is Windows XP 64-bit, and two are XP 32 bit.

This is quite a show-stopper for me; if I'm not able to find a solution, I'd have to exchange the phone - probably for a different model - so I'd be quite grateful for any help.

avalable in oxygen phone manager website..
3500c is a S40 platform.. so chose OXYGEN PHONE MANAGER 2.18 for non symbian phones
u can browse d site for details for which phone models it supports.. as on this day its d latest.. use ur brains and find a crack for it as its trial version.... Or else use ur credit card....!!

Problem with file transfer via Bluetooth

I have been trying to receive some large files (43Mb) via bluetooth from another device but always get transfer fail message. But i could receive smaller flies...
-Does this have anything to do with the device memory limit of 15MB?
-How can i receive larger video files from other devices using bluetooth?
-Does the BOLD have the same problem?

I just purchased lumia 620, and very disappointed with it... As basic features of a phone like Bluetooth, File explorer , contract and message synchroinisation with nokia pc suite (without internet).
but now nothing can be done.. My question is Can anybody tell me how to Wacth or see the video files recieved via bluetooth?? I received the files, and got the message that new files recieved, but when i searched in phone.... it is nowhere. Where these fils located???
Please give a real soulution, as i have searched on many forum.. but not a single solution.. Let my frustration be a little bit less.... PLEASE...

Thanks Barney, I tried that but all that comes up in Spotlight are the log files that show the file paths! I don't know how Steam works. Are all the files held by Steam on their server perhaps?

Nokia 5800 problem(The file simply cannot be remov...

Some time ago, i tried to download a movie via my torrent client(symtorrent) on my nokia but i have changed my mind and aborted the operation. It said that the movie is 1.4 gb, so i found the folder and delete it. But the memory on my card remained the same. I took off my memory card, put it in my friends phone still it didnot worked there was no file but the space was occupated. I instaled 3part applications like Y-Browser to search for some hidden files. Nothing. I connected the phone in media transfer mode, so i can maybe search via my pc. Hidden and system files were checked and shown. Still nothing. I calculated the size of my files on the MC, they are 6.4 gb but when i press properties it says that it contains 7.8gb of data. Any solution...? Please.
And yes, forgot to mention formating the memory card is not even a last solution cuz a have a ton of signed applications, which are quite expensive.

Problem with file transfer via wi-fi!

Hi, folks,
Please, could someone help me to get a music file I made using Groovemaker app?
After finish the mix, I built a song. Then, I saved it in the "mix browser".
In the end of the exporting process, I typed the URL address displayed in the browser (http://192.168.0.188:5555/, on Firefox, Chrome and IE), but something gone wrong and, every time I export the same song - it's my first exporting action - I got a message such "The page hasn't loaded... limit time reached".
What's the problem with my wi-fi connection? Should I set something in my router? According to the company website (http://www.groovemaker.com/gmiphone/features/) this kind of wi-fi file transfer is easy, but not to me...

i have nokia 5800 xm with v20.0.0.012 firmware..but cannot receive jpeg image file sent via bluetooth from other hand phone...i have try lots of hp to try to sent it to my hp.....the sender hp show waiting for the other device to accept item...but i already choose yes...to accept it...i can receive other types of file such as gif, mp3, flv, mp4, acc, 3gp...just fine... :-(

Most likely the jpeg file is corrupted. Zip the file, try again and use the mass storage mode.

Connect Nokia E50 to OVI Suite on Win7 via Bluetoo...

Hello,
i want to establish a connection with OVI Suite to my E50 phone.
The wizard is recognising the phone but will get stuck after some minutes while checking the connection.
The windows hardware manager is only showing the standard bluetooth modem and several unknown devices (see screenshot).
Please advise me what to do.
OS: Windows 7 Pro
Phone: Nokia E50
Software: OVI Suite (newest update from E50 page)

- Exit Nokia Ovi Suite from File - Exit. This is mandatory! Closing NOS to system tray is not enough!

- Try to reproduce the error you are reporting
- If the error still exists, double click the collect_logs.js file in installation folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Ovi Suite
- Click the button to start collecting the logs when prompted by the dialogue
- Click the button to confirm the "Logs collect & zip finished" dialogue
- Attach the NOS2_logs.zip file in C:\Temp\NOS2 folder and screenshots in the error reporting form
- Go to your %TEMP% folder, which can be found by entering %TEMP% to the Windows Explorer's address bar. Then search debug_log_date.txt in this folder, where date is the current date (or choose the latest one) and attach also this file in the error reporting form. The exact %TEMP% folder paths are:

Nokia 3500c does not connect to internet

Dear all,
I have nokia 3500c handset( and service provider is airtel india).
I connected it to my computer(window Vista ) through Nokia PC Suite 7. I can transfer files and pics from phone to computer and viceversa but when i want to use it for internet purpose, the one touch access of PC suite giving the message that “the selected device is not connected! Please connect the device ad try again”.
though I can use internet on my handset and also i received mobile setting from service provider that i saved.

While connecting the handset with PC Suite which mode you are selecting (like nokia mode/pc suite mode/data trasfer mode etc), i dont know exactly what all the modes you can connect your 3500c with pc? Whether the problem is that One Touch access does not detect your phone is connected. If that is the case, right click on Computer icon on desktop -> Manage -> Device Manager -> Modems. Check if it has got the Modem installed for 3500c. Once its confirmed that you have got 3500c modem got installed on your PC, goto One touch access and check if you see the phone is connected. If phone itself is not detected then uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Connectivity cable driver, PC COnnectivity solution and then run some reliable PC Suite cleaner which will erase unwanted registries from your pc, which were caused by PC Suite. Install 7.0 pc suite from Nokia.com site restart your pc and then try to connect One touch access...

Another problem is that in Bridge (version 2.0.0.975) I can no longer see thumbnails of RAW files from my Canon 40D that I saw before.

Problem with FIle Adapter

Hi
We r facing typical problem with file adapter.
Lets say there are 30 files to be processed by placing an copy in arichive folder by file adapter based on pooling
parameters.
All the 30 files are picked up and we can see the copies in archive folder.
But when we go to RWB and check the audit log,
there we could see only 25 files , the 5 files are missing.
no trace found therre about the 5 files.
This is happening only some times and not to all the files placed in the FTP. Later when the same file is placed back from the Archive folder to the Source folder, the file is being picked and processed succesfully.
unfortunately this is happening on Production server
Any pointers which could trouble shoot this issue.

Couple of thing which you can try....
1. Use EOIO QoS and check if you still face the issue.
Is some program or application writing files to the directory? If yes I would recommend the use of a temporary name to write the files and then rename them.
Sometimes when an external application connects via FTP and transfers the files...
The file could be picked up by the adapter poll even before the transfer of data is done.
Which is why you will find that the file is archived but there is no xml message created for the same in the Integration engine.
Try increasing the poll interval. This helps sometimes.

Problem with file permissions using Snow Lepord

I'm having problems with file Sharing & Permissions using Snow Lepord.
When I save any new file it only has 'Read & Write' privileges for the user, everyone else is 'read only' or 'no access'.
We have a Netgear NAS Server which is accessed by other users over the local network and if I change the Privilege to 'read & write' via Get Info and then copy the file from my desktop to ther server it changes the Privilege of the server version to 'no access' we then have to change it again for it to work.
I also created a new folder on the server and now it says 'no access' and has a no entry icon!
Any ideas???

We have issues like this. Have tried running AFP and SMB, now connecting using CIFS. All have the same problem. I can work on one or two files fine, then suddenly, one of the files I just worked on says I don't have permissions. I log off the server and log back on, and then I have permissions to the file. It will work fine for one or two operations, then fails. We just updated to OSX Mavericks and a Windows 2012 server, but have been having this issue for years. My permissions look fine. I can even change permissions, but it won't let me work on the file or move or delete the file or rename the file. Once I log out and log back in, I can do anything I want.
