I updated my nokia 500 to Belle ,after updgrade phone restart when inserting sim and not detecting sim.
Without sim phone working fine.
please provide any solution for this issue..........

Have you tried a different SIM ? Borrow from friends / family members to see if the same happens with other SIMs too.. If not, get your SIM replaced thru' your Operator.. If it happens with all SIMs you may first try re-installing the Firmware. Else, you need to visit Nokia Care .
Also, check if it makes any difference without the Memory Card being inserted ..

good question, but this is not the problem.
I did re-code my "public int getCard1()" method though:
it was:
public int getCard1 () {
return card1;
and I changed it to:
public String getCard1 () {
return Integer.toString(card1);
since my jsp page tag was aparently looking for a string to work with, returning a String from the method seems to have helped now.
I rebooted my machine and re-strated jakarta-tomcat server to verify and it worked fine this time.

Since you've already tried resetting, another common cause of restarting is a faulty sim card. If you have an old sim, it may be time to ask your network for a replacement and see if that does the trick.

It says there's a problem with an add-on. I check what add-on it is and its the adobe flash player 10 thats causing the problem. My brother's computer is doing the exact same thing which is weird. Has anybody heard of this problem before? Do you know how to fix it?

what is your Flash Player version (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html)?
Next, what does it mean "my internet [...] is restarting"; your internet connection, or your browser? Please explain.
Finally, the latest Flash Player version is 10.1; FP10 is an old version.

Windows xp automatically restarts when i plug in my iphone 4

Makes the noise of a connected device and in the corner it shows, Found New Hardware bubble which is a Digital Still Camera. 2 seconds after that pops up, the computer shuts off and immediately restarts. Hi I just figured out a solution that helped me resolve the issue
You can soft reset your device with the code *#7780# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) so your device will be back to factory setttings. Your personal data will not be erased.
You can hard reset your device with the code *#7370# + security code (12345 if you didn't change it) so your device will be as the first day - all data are deleted because the phone is formatted!
If your phone is seriously crashed and won't boot, you can perform the same hard reset this way:
Make sure your battery is fully charged.
Backup your personal data to your computer or an MMC storage card.
Switch-off your Nokia 3230.
Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the Nokia 3230.
Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see the formatting screen.
After a few minutes when the process is over, your Nokia 3230 will be back to the original delivered system.

Internet problem in nokia 500

i have updated my nokia 500 to belle from nokia customer care since the internet is not working in in now what to do??
i can't found any symbol up like 3G,edge, gprs
the is working well in other mobiles
reinstall firmware will use any internet connect or it will cause any harm to phone if it is undone in middle of the process so tell me fast

First, you have to make sure that the packet data connection on the phone is up and running. You can contact your Service Provider so they can you send you the Internet Settings and configure it on your phone automatically. If you managed to browse the web using the phone's browser, below steps are what you need to check and do if you want to use the phone as a modem.
To create an internet connection, do the following:
Install Nokia Suite in your PC or laptop.
Check that you have a SIM card inserted in your phone and that the phone is not in offline mode.
Connect your phone via USB cable or Bluetooth connection to your PC or laptop (USB connection preferred because it provides a faster and more reliable connection). After upgrade to Belle refresh, my Nokia E7-00 keeps restarting when network coverage is very low, or gone.
I think, that this is an issue related to the phone's network connection, because the problem of the phone restarting is non-existing, when the phone is in offline-mode, and the problem is non-existing, when network connection is good.
The problem did not exists before upgrading to Belle-refresh.
Anyone experienced this, or any ideas to solve the problem´?

Could you check if your phone is up to date? Enter *#0000# on your keypad to display your current software version.
You could check the latest software for Nokia 500 here. If your phone needs to be updated, I would advise you to download Nokia suite and connect your phone to your PC.

Hello, Feroz_Mohammed. Does the phone show any error message before it will automatically restart? Did you download or update any particular app prior to this issue? Make sure that the phone's software is updated. You can check it using Nokia PC Suite. See this link: Nokia PC Suite - Download and Support. You may also try restoring the phone's original settings by going to Settings > Restore factory settings > Settings only. Type 12345 for the lock code unless you have changed it. And then, monitor the phone's performance.

I am currently using Windows 8 and also have Microsoft office installed but those are the only thing on my partitioned space. I don't know if I installed 32 or 64 version of Windows 8. Could that be the problem?

Always have backups of your system, clone that you can boot from.
Boot Camp 3.0 was the last supported. You don't need OEM 10.4.6 DVD and your system with EFI and SMC updates (Aug/Sept 2007) may not like it.
32-bit version of Windows on EFI-32 will only get 1.9GB RAM.
Installing 64-bit Windows 7 is a bit harder. Vista pre-SP1 64-bit was the best match for install on my 1,1 and that was 2006-2007.
The new owner needs to deal with this, not you. And really they are better off with a $400 PC instead. Or use a VM.
