Nokia 5220 error..

my nokia 5220 has a problem in displaying message. once i recieved a quote from my friends it usually have spaces in between but in my phone it has no SPACES! for example:
always rmmber dat u can nver find a perfect partner to love u d way u wanted,
only a person who's willing to love u more than wat u r.
sm1 who'll accept u for wat u can&can't be..
& that's even better than perfect.
AND IT WILL GO LIKE THIS!

HOW COME?!! ive serch all the possible setting in my phone but nothing works. could anyone help me with this problem?

Once the message has created and sent - the receipient should get it on it's original composition.
Have you tried changing the font size to small? and make sure Character support is set to full.

I bought a NOKIA 5220 XpressMusic a few days back . Evrything seemed fine , but suddenly I could not access my memory card. It says "Memory card has to be formatted" and then peration failed". there is probably something wrong with the memory card itself and not your phone. i assume you are using microSD cards, what size/brand are you using?

Nokia 701 Nokia Suite error

Windows 7 Premium x64. Install Nokia Suite 3.2.100. It installs with no errors. Connect 701 via USB cable, more drivers install with no errors. When I tell it to check for updates I et the following message;
"Somethings gone wrong. It seems that some program files of Nokia Suite are missing. To fix this, please uninstall nokia suite and download the latest version of the application ..."
I've done this mulitple times and receive the same message.

Error has been fixed and Nokia Suite 3.4 contains the fix. You can download and install latest beta version of Nokia Suite from here ...
To download the installer, you need to log-in with the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum..

Serious Problem with My Nokia 5220 Xpress

Good Morning.
i've got my nokia 5220 Xpress updated using the software included by PC-suite for the newer version.
two days after, the phone collapsed, shutdown, and when am trying to turn it on, he shutdown again after showing the logo of nokia (the two hands).
what would i do to regain my older version or solve this problem ? their is no care point for nokia here at gaza
is their any format code like the one works with the older series ?!
could any one help me please

I think you can try the hard reset, by typing *#7370# and pressing the call key. You will be asked for your security code. Once you enter that, the phone will restart. This procedure will wipe out everything in your phone memory, so please remember to take a backup before you reset your device.

Nokia 5220 xpress music

my phone model is nokia 5220 xpress music and the problem is it is not turning on properly it is showing main screen for a single second and then switch off again.what should i do.can u help me.

Remove the battery for a couple of minutes..insert and swithch the phone ON.. Check for any difference.
Confirm that the Battery is fully charged (..Keep the phone on charging for about 10 minutes, Keep the charger connected, and try switching ON..)
If these doesn't work, get the device inspected at Nokia Care..
Note that a Hard Reset that does trick in such situations can not be performed on your phone as being an S40 Device...

Nokia 5220 Xpress Music Message Notification On Sc...

Recently bought a Nokia 5220 Xpress Music phone and I am a little disappointed to say that when the phone is in screensaver mode or energy saver mode (black screen) it does not display a notification that there is a message.
The average user has the phone with the back to the desk/table and will not see the flashing red light.
My question is ... "is it possible to get the screensaver or energy saver to display the "message" symbol when there is an unread message??"
Any help would be appreciated.

Nokia 5220 XpressMusic Bluetooth problem

Good morning:
I bought a Nokia 5220 a month ago, but since 3 or 4 days ago, I can't connect my phone with other devices. I was trying to send some ringtones, but the connections always fails... and, when I try to add a new device, the phone asks me a password that I don't know what it is, and de connection fails... Can somebody help me??? I don't know what to do...

can't remember the connectiion process off the top of my head, but try adding the devices again and the password will probably be the default ones. so either 0000 or 1234 or 00000 or 12345. try that and see if you can send files, you should be able to.

hey guys , im new here,last year i bought NOKIA 5220 xpress music
my GPRS is working, but when i enter an address or site, "link not available, try again later" appears. and i cannot use internet applications such as Opera mini and Widsets
failed to connect to the internet.. please help me guys, i called 2969 they said that they will sent me settings, within 24hrs. but until now, i don't receive any service msg. i called them thrice, then i text 2951 to get the settings for my gprs,but nothing happened,
my gf help me to open my GPRS, but i cannot use internet applications

You may need to check that the applications have permission to access the internet.
Go to the app in the menu but don't open it. Select Options, then Application access. In here there are various options that may need to be switched on for the app to access the network through your phone.

m having Nokia 5220 MusicXpress and unfortunately when i tried to get GPRS settings I lost my basic applications n softwares like
Calculater, Musicplayer etc.... feom my cellphone... and whenever i try to listen the song it plays but i can not see th musicplayer and one dialog comes which says Not enough memory....
can anyone help out through this?> and yeah i want mobile dictionary also in english......
so anybody can plz help me how to reinstall those things? and how to get all settings as It was when I purchased it?

If the above suggestion does not work.. try re-installing the Firmware..
You may download the OVI Suite or the Software updater from
http://www.nokia.co.in/support/download-software/device-software-update
...and install on your PC
..Connect your phone to PC using the USB Cable..
and select Software update from the Tools Menu.. If update is available select that , else select Re-install..
Important : Take back-up before doing any of these..Also note that during the process, the phone may switch Off.. so do not panic and have patience.. It will get ON on its own.. Even when the process is finished, wait till the phone comes to life.. and do not disconnect or use the phone when the process is On.. Neglect any warnings displayed in Windows task bar too..

Web based Applications in Nokia 5220 xpress music

I recently bought this phone (Nokia 5220) but I am unable to run web based applications like opera mini flickr and cellity . The problem is although I can access internet through the phone browser I am unable to access the web through these applications can some one please tell me why this is happening ?

Macromedia Flash Player in Nokia 5220

Hi I just bought Nokia 5220 Xpressmusic and in the features it say that it has Macromedia Flash Player When I tried to Play the videos that I downloaded from www.youtube.com it says Unsupported file format
Can any one help me please

Clearly state that the phone has "Video Streaming (3GPP)", if your phone came with a link in the web browser to Youtube then it will take you to the Youtube Mobile site where you can stream mobile content. At no stage does it say that you can download flash media to play in the phone's inbuilt video player.

Hard format code for nokia 5220

is there anyone who tell me about hard format code for my mobile.ie. nokia 5220 xpress music ,a problem has encounterd in it gets auto off so plzz tell me how can i sort that problem.

The 5220 XpressMusic is a series 40 phone, so you cannot hard reset it yourself.
The only thing you can do is try to reset the settings to factory defaults by entering *#7780#. If prompted for your lock code, that will be Nokia's default 12345 unless you've changed it.
In order to have the phone hard reset, you'll need to take it to a Nokia Care Point.

Nokia 5220 drops pleer control (AVRCP) on bluetoot...

I use Nokia 5220 with Nokia BH-503 Headset,
after upgrading from 5.20 to 7.23 appear next problem:
while listen pleer AVRCP work's ok,
but after pause pleer more than 5 seconds AVRCP connection a dropped
and remote control from headset tophone pleer don't work.
Call control from headset to phone work ok,
pleer control from buttons on phone are ok too.
