Nokia 5300, Games not saving

Hello everyone.
My phone is not saving game progress anymore. It stopped some days ago, for no apparent reason. I've formatted the SD card since, hopping it would fix the problem, but it didn't.
When I connect the phone to my computer, I can see there are .rms files (save files, I suppose?), but the games can't read the data.
Anyone know how to fix this? I play a lot during my daily commute and it's really boring having to start all over everytime I feel like playing.

try doing a restore to factory settings, *#7780# this may solve the problem but it does sound liek a software fault you can do a software version upgrade yourself online with this link http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4777088 and the correct usb cable or take it into a local care point for the upgrade,

Nokia 5300 - Messagges not saved in Sent folder

I just got this Nokia 5300 and when I send text messages they don't get saved in the Sent Folder. Any idea how to fix that?

try message settings,
Menu>Messaging>Message Settings>General Settings>Save sent messages...change to yes.

SMS sent from Nokia Suite is not saved

PC Nokia Suite (7.1.18.0) seems to be working fine on both Bluetooth and USB Cable with my Nokia 6300 (FW is V07.21).
EXCEPT, whenever I send SMSs from the Nokia Communications Centre, they are not saved anywhere. I assume that they should save in NCC and immediately be replicated back to my phone, but that is not happening. So I have no record of anything I have sent, unless I key it in onto my phone.
All off the other categories of SMS (Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Archive) seem to replicate OK between phone and NCC. Why not the Sent messages?
And yes, I am sure that the messages are being sent - that was the first thing I checked
What am I (or the SW) doing wrong?

unfortunately I'm also suffering from lack of this feature. however I'm not sure which other mobile phone can do something like requested by author (and me ).
Suppose it has something to do with the way desktop software works with GSM phones, it probably just sends series of AT commands to GSM phone modem, initiating sending of message. Saving of message into "Sent" box may be not implemented into standard AT command set (but here I'm only guessing).
I've happened to work with old Siemens phone and it behaved almost same way, i.e. messages were sent but not saved in "Sent" box. However there was a trick - desktop software had not only "Send" but also "Save" button, and pressing of this button saved messages in "Drafts" box. So if I needed absolutely message to be saved in "Sent" box, I prepared messages and saved them to "Drafts". Later I should take my phone and send messages manually from phone, so at least I saved efforts on typing, but had to work from both PC and phone interfaces to send message.
I'm not sure if any "alternative" software for Nokia phones (like Oxygen Phone Manager) have this capability, but if you look at this screen http://www.oxygensoftware.com/en/products/opm2/images/SMSPictureMessage.gif you shall see there "Save" button which may possibly (?) implement same functionality.

Nokia 5300 vibrator not working

My nokia 5300 which is 4 months old has vibrator problem . It does not work . Enabling in profile does not help. Pls suggest if it is HW or SW problwm and how to fix it

I believe there's a problem on the vibrator piece itself - maybe it's faulty?
I suggest you to send the phone to the Nokia Care Center and let them do the rest. You do not have to pay anything for this since I assume that the phone still does have a warranty intact onto it. - Just show them your warranty card and invoice if necessary.

Nokia 6205 words not saving to dictionary

Hi, I recently picked up a Nokia 6205 because it was free and my old LG phone finally broke. Since I have had it, words do not save to my dictionary. I text using predictive word entry. Any suggestions?

I have this same issue... It gets extremely frustrating when you have to enter another word and use the letters from that word to complete the initial word you we're looking for.

Install games in nokia 5300

hi. i´ve bought a nokia 5300 but i do not know how to install games on ti. i´ve got nokia pc suite 6.8. when i download games there are to files, on with .jad extension and another with .jar extension. help me please!

There's two way:
1-If you've already installed Nokia PC suite, just double-click .jar files then click OK. A Messenger box "Install completed" will go out, telling you that the selected game is installed.
2-(only for Nokia s40 3rd Edition): Connect your phone to PC, select Data Storage Mode. Open your Memory card (Display as Removeable disk in My Computer), then copy .jar game & paste it here (or wherever you want on your card). Using this will save your phone memory (so limited on s40 3rd Edtion phone), but you've to play the game from your Memory card

If you haven't overclocked, you really shouldn't.
Do you also get a message that says "NVIDIA Display Driver has crashed" afterwards?
Try a clean install of the latest NVIDIA drivers:
1) Run the NVIDIA graphics driver installer.
2) Choose Custom installation.
3) Check Clean install.
Again, what sort of temperatures are you running at? It's possible that the GPU is starting to fail.

Nokia N8 camera settings is not saved

Hey.
I found out that all the camera settings is not saved. For exampel i always want the grid displayed but then i have to turn it on manuelly every time. Same goes for the timer, id like it to be on 2sec so the picture not is taken as you push the button (shaky etc).
Probably more camera settings that not saved havent checked it all.

OK first of all look at this, 333 people viewed your original post and followed by 171, 144 and the last one that you responded 55 people viewed and yet your the only one with this problem lol
Here is the thing, I'm sure nokia had a damn good reason for not letting the grid option be set as default, and if you can't press two buttons to get to it, well that's your own fault for being lazy lol all these people viewed your post and not even one decided to say something, that's probably because no one really have a problem with what your complaining about and I don't count that new user since all her said was "No reply from Nokia on this???" hehe
anyways if nokia makes any changes in their camera setting and give us more options, well GREAT, but right now most people are happy with their N8 camera and its setting. Their are much more important issues regarding Nokia N8 and you picked the least important one lol way to go.
Don't forget that you can't compare the N8 with a digital camera, just because you can do things differently on a digital camera doesn't mean you suppose to do it on a camera phone. In my opinion the N8's setting is damn good, could get better and if nokia does something about it Great but I can do what I wanna do with the setting. So please try not to bring up any little problem you thing it has or you thing needs to be changed because I really don't think what you calling a problem is a problem

Nokia 1520 not saving photos

Is anyone else having issues with thier 1520 randomly not saving pictures when using Nokia Camera for default photo app. For some reason my camera is now frequently not saving the photos. A camera reset works, but then in a few hours it stops saving again for no apparent reason. Kind of sick of having to always do camera resets and then lossing my photos.

No such issues here. Happily clicking away and saving everything. You could if you want, try a reset and failing that, perhaps there may be an issue with the memory which would probably require a trip to your local Nokia Care Point. Alternatively, you may also consider bringing it back to thge retailer for a replacement.

I was playing clash of clans (not saved on game enter) then I logged in gc with a login with saved account but now I can't get backt my old account of clash of clans plz help,

So this account is not saved and i log in with a user that I have saved my progress on it, not i don't have a clue how to get my old clash of clans back!

Your post isn't quite clear. If you mean you logged out of your icloud account and logged into someone else's account, then log out of theirs and back into yours.
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. Then log in using a different ID.
If this is not what you mean, please describe you issue in more detail.

Disney junior app, not saving daughters profile and some of the games?

Daughter has Disney game apps downloaded, but since yesterday some of the apps have to be re-installed to use, not saved to ipad like they normally do and her profile is wiped everytime she goes back into the Disney junior app. There is space in storage and i have checked settings and cannot see anything that would stop this.

What do you mean by: "not loading completely"?
Maybe this:
- Reset the iPod, nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Purchase/install any new app
- The remaining items of:
iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store

Nokia Suite does not see saved messages

Hi! I transferred a part of the messages in my Nokia 6303 to phone' s folder Saved Messages, and since then the troubles began.
1. I can not move any sms out of the Saved Messages folder, for example, it is not possible to send them back to Inbox folder or any place else.
2. Nokia Suite does not see some of those saved messages- they appear as empty boxes there, despite I can read them on my phone.
Can I restore all messages downloaded to Nokia Suite, making them readable?
How can I move the sms from Saved Messages folder on my phone?
Can I tranfer sms from Saved Messages folder of my Nokia 6303 to another phone (even not Nokia)?

Welcome to the Nokia Discussion boards!
First could you do a soft reset on your phone by entering *#7780# into your phone’s keypad. The default password when prompted is 12345. This reset will NOT erase any data, but revert settings back to original. Also, ensure you have the latest firmware by visiting this page and the latest version of PC Suite by following this link here.
The following link provides extensive information for managing your messages on Nokia devices using Nokia PC suite.
In order for you to move messages out of the “Saved messages” folder, you will have to create a new folder in the same directory, but you will not able to move messages back into your inbox. To move your saved messages to another non-Nokia device, you can forward the messages via SMS.

Ngage has been around for quite a while now and has been "coming soon" for the N73 for as long as I can remember.
If they're taking this long to adapt it to the N73 it's almost certainly because they're having difficulty streamlining it to work on such a poorly-equipped handset.
Don't get me wrong. I think the N73's a great little device and I love mine. It's just not up to the task of a gaming platform.

SMS on Nokia 5300 not working, help

I have a nokia 5300 and have done smoething to it now it wont send text messages, instead of sending they sit in the outbox and when message details is opened it says message pending, anyone got any ideas on how to stop this? i have gone through all the settings and cant fix it. my wife has a phone with the same network and is able to send messages so it isbnt a busy network. Please help!!!!

Try to turn off the phone and remove the battery,sim card,and memory card for several minutes.Then it should be fine.

Nokia E7 - Outgoing SMS is not saved ?

Ive got a E7 that has worked ok till now..
This is my work phone and i use the sms ( conversations ) pretty often. A couple of days ago i updated the phone ( not sure if this has something to do with the problem ).
But on friday i started to get a problem with my phone. It wouldnt save the outgoing SMS.
The limit is 999 sms, and ive cheked that the box "save outgoing sms" has a cross in it.
I only have 79 outgoing sms saved, but all i send from friday and till today is not saved..
When i open the sms conversation, only the incomming sms is saved.
Could anybody please advise what to do?

Well i did just this... It worked a couple of days after, but on the 19 april it stopped saving again.
My boss has the same phone, and he has the same problem.. 19 april was the last day his phone saved a outgoing sms to.
