Nokia 5300 - Playing Music from Memory Card

I'm sorry if this has been posted, couldn't find a question similar.
I'm trying to set my mobile phone up to play all music from the memory card, where do I go to change the default setting?

If you start Music player for the first time, it'll prromot you on chosing Music file on Memory card (if no Music files found on your phone memory). Later on, once you started Music player and want to choose another folder, just select option -> Play Option, then select folder from "Music Source"

N5800 - Playing Music from Memory Card

Hi, bought this phone the other day and first thing i did was to transfer all my pc music onto the 8 gig memory card - fine.
However, if i want to play these tunes through the music player, do i have to transfer them to the phone memory first (which is much lower memory space). I can play each song by accessing it through Applications/File mgr/Memory Card, but want to be able to build playlists from them/ listen to them continuously (as it stops after each song has finished).
Any help, thanks!!!!!!!

No, transfer straight to the card.
You can make Playlists by opening Music Player>find song>options>add to playlist

Asha 311 - add music from memory card

Hello,
I've encountered an issue with my Asha 311. I copied my mp3 files into phones memory card and I wanted to access and play them from phone's Music shortcut in the front page, however, it only finds music that is in the phone memory and ignores the memory card. How do I add music from memory card to that list?

Then do one thing.. make sure all the music files in your device are in the folder named music files in the memory card.. if not, simply move the files to that folder.. agian update the library and check..
still problem remains, then go for a soft reset ( it will not affect your data). for this type *#7780# in your keypad and provide security code (default 12345). check again..

Nokia 5310 - transferring music to memory card

What is the quickest/easiest way to transfer music from either the phones internal memory to the memory card, or from PC to phones memory card?
Simple step by step please as not very technically minded.

Try these steps:
- First, plug the phone to the USB.
- Go to Menu> Settings> Connectivity> USB data cable> Data transfer
- There should be a pop-up prompt that a removable device has been connected.
- Open up the removable drive, and as usual just do the drag and drop facility to put up files onto the memory card.

i have hardly any space left on my Nokia 5800 memory card, and would like to know how to put some songs onto the phone memory as i have some free space there.
does anybody know how?

You can use the file manager on the phone to move items between the memory card and phone. If you have any difficulties with it check out the help section within the application.
You should make sure you leave a bit of space in the phones memory so that you have plenty of space for messages and programs.
It may be a better option to purchase a 16gb memory card instead.

Zen MX and accesing music from Mem Card

'Every single time I want to listen to music from my memory card on my ZEN MX it goes throught this long "building music library" phase before the music is playable. It takes almost 5 minutes of waiting while this library complies.
This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME.
How do I get around this so I can just instantly play music from the mem card?

Importing contacts from memory card

Have recently got new 5800 after mine got wet. The new one is slightly different and I have put my memory card from old one into new phone.
I can't seem to find the right route to import my numbers off my memory card.
I'm sure the card is not corrupted as it had all my music on which automatically transfered when I opened real player.

Is it possible to play video from memory or cache? I trying to build a video player. And I am using NetStream.play(). It can play a local file, but how can I load the a file into memory first, do some modification, and then play it?

If you mean "can I play a video file's video part via AppleTV and the audio part via the Macbook" then the answer is no.
You could probably play the video on AppleTv and also play it on the Macbook and output the audio, but you would have to do this manually, and 2 applications accessing the same video file might cause stuttering playback issues. Additionally you'd have to manually sync the audio and lip sync problems are annoying at the best of times.
If you mean "can I watch a video from AppleTV and play separate music via iTunes on the Macbook", then the answer is yes.

I've been researching and trying different things and have yet to come up with a viable solution. I prefer to go the free route when I purchase my media streaming software, however, I don't mind paying to have something once I feel it works. I would also like to mention, I want a media server which streams media(music/video) to all of my devices(xbox360, Wii, PS3, Iphone).
Here is my current configuration:
Imac 20"( 2 GH intel core 2 duo, 4 gb memory, running ps3 Media Server)
Apple Extreme Router
Sony Vaio Laptop(winamp remote)
My media has been produced by using my Imac with handbrake software(video) and Itunes for music.
I have tried PS3 media server and it seems to work wirelessly with my xbox360 just fine, however, the PS3, Wii and Iphone are a different matter. I get errors on ps3("this video content cannot be played "(8002288d8). The Wii and iphone wont recognize PS3 Media Server.
My windows PC(Sony Vaio-Windows 7) has software I've downloaded called WINAMP Remote which seems to do all I want except, my xbox, Wii, PS3 all work but the video quality stinks(digitized flickering, poor quality overall). The iphone app(Orb-Free) video has a great picture but stutters frequently and stops. Audio over 3g stutters(meaning I have to hit play very frequently cause it stops) also.
All this being said, I still am searching for a media server which can stream seemlessly to any of my devices. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

X2 how to copy files from memory card to phone?

I would like to copy a picture and a song from memory card to phone memory of my Nokia x2, but I don't know how to. If I take out memory card from the phone now the picture I chose as my screen background disapears I want to have it all the time on the screen no mater if the card is in or out of the phone.

Here is an easy way to move your messages from Phone Memory to Memory Card or from Memory Card to Phone memory In Nokia models.
1- Install latest version of Nokia PC Suite and connect your set.
2- Open Nokia Communication Centre. (Select Phone Memory or Memory Card from which you want to move messages to other memory)
3- Select all messages in a single folder (Inbox/Sent Items or from My Folders) and click on file> export. This will create *.csv file.
4- Download NBU Explorer 1.8 from http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/nokia-nbuexplorer/ (You must have installed Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 to run NBU Explorer. You can easily download these from Microsoft Site,)
5- Open *.csv file in NBU Explorer and click File > Export All. (Your all messages will be exported as *.vmg files.)
6- Disconnect and connect your phone again in Nokia PC Suite.
7- Now set your target memory in your phone for messages.
8- Open Communication Centre and Select your desired folder then click on file > Import messages by selecting multiple messages *.vmg files. (You don’t have to import messages one by one but you can import all messages in a single folder at once)
9- And you have done it.
10- You can import *.csv list in Nokia PC Suite rather *.vmg files, but in this case, all the spaces (blank spaces) in your messages will be lost. All the text of your messages will be merged to a single line. So exporting via NBU Explorer is recommended.

IPhone 4S won't play music from internal speaker

My iPhone 4S is having an issue with the internal speaker. Originally, I was able to play music from iTunes, Pandora, videos, etc. w/out having headphones or an external speaker system connected to the audio input. Now, the phone isn't playing back sound from the internal speaker, unless I have headphones/speaker connected. Keyboard clicks and text message alerts are also not coming through, even though that option is turned on. The Ring/Silent button is on, the volume is on high, and I've also restarted the phone a few times. The only way I've got the internal speaker to play w/out having an external speaker system connected to the audio input is if I test different ringers; then it will playback, but not for any other audio format (videos, songs, keyboard clicks, etc.)
Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I'm out of ideas...Thank you!!

iWeb has no knowledge of the internal speaker on your iPhone.

Success!! There truly is a light at the end of the tunnel. Apple support really did come through and I am successfully back into my account. Ready to purchase more music. I followed the instructions, with patience I thought I lost, submitted my problem, someone emailed me back within two days and all is now perfect. Thanks again Apple.

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.
