Nokia 5310 Keypad problem

My keypad is not reponding, as a result of which my phone is locked(keypad lock) and i am unable to unlock it. My mobile is just 3 months old.
Does anybody else also facing similar kind of problems??? Plss help

try removing battery for ten minutes then try update the software if its not already up to date,if all fails its ahard wear problem and you will need to take it to a nokia care point

Nokia 5310 language problem

Hi. I bought nokia 5310 around November 2008. I'm able to write chinese words during that time but after i patch the new firmware, i'm not able to write chinese word anymore. I'm only able to change the languages but not write in chinese words. Any help really appreciate.

Nokia 5310 Game Problem

how i am upload my new game application inside my Nokia 5310 Xpress Music mobile. and as well as how i am set Game screen in full size mode....

use nokia pc suite to transfer and it will install the application for you. full-screen mode, hmmm not sure, 5310 runs at 320 x 240, and on S40 5th edition FP1. so really depends what resolution your game runs at.

Nokia 5310 connecting problem

when i try and connect the phone to the comp and have pc suite mode on it says that there is no phone connected.
but it works with data storage mode.
the pc suite mode used to work before but doesnt any more.
plz help

I am having the same problem as bloodydemon - my 5310 no longer connects to my pc via the usb cable. I have re-booted, uninstalled, installed pc suite many times and still no joy. One thing: My hard drive is now in a new system since yesterday, so I don't know how that impacts things. Still the same phone and cable and pc suite as before.
Now what to do?

Nokia 5310 Internet Problems

Hey,
I recently resotred my Nokia phone, as it was messing up on me. This fixed the issue but now I can't connect to the internet on my phone.
I remember last time I couldn't, I found a wizard online that you put your service provider and number into and it sent the settings via sms to your phone. Where would this wizard be?

voda are having similar issues with there branded firmware,
try the following
if you have this problem
Try a full reset
type *#7370# into the dialer, this will Reformat your phone but should not remove maps and the QT enviroment
this has helped some others with voda handsets and a similar problem
note you will probably have to start the phone setup from scratch

Nokia 6120 keypad problem

I just got a nokia 6120. I found some keypad buttons are hard to press. the quality of the keypad is very poor.
Is every 6120 built with such poor quality of keypads?

Nokia 5310 Headphones problem...

I got this phone just yesterday and when I unwrapped the headphones from the plastic bag, I also unrolled the headphones and I noticed that the right ear wire is way longer than the left ear wire so it's rather uncomfortable when I put them on because it's a significant difference. I haven't found a way to adjust the size, is there any possible way? It's really bugging me to adjust how I move my head because of how the wires are.

hi there, no worries, yep they come like that for everyone. even my old nokia 6288 headphones had the same problem, i tried for hours to adjust the length but to no avail . generally yes Sony ones are better for music unless you are a real music buff and will go for sennheiser/bose. but those headphones are expensive and what is the point, you don't want headphones that are so rich in bass and crisp in sound quality that give you a headache . so yeh go for Sony ones, mid-range ones should be fine (don't buy the cheap ones). i have MDR-Q38 clip-on-the-ear sony headphones they have lasted an extremely long time...you should be able to find in-ear headphones at the same price.
p.p.s yep any headphones will work for the radio, any headphones have the wiring inside that is used for FM radio signal for the phone. the link you showed me is just fine, those headphones are great (as they have the neodymium magnet which is important for better sound quality)

Nokia 5310 headset problem

my 3days old 5310 cant seem to play music in it's headset..
but whenever i put on the jack(HS-45) to it's socket.
the 5310 detects it but without a sound coming out in FM or My Saved files(mp3,wma).
what should i do?? is there anything to enable the headset to produce sound ??

when i try to connect to another phone or to a bluetooth headset my phone doesn't recognize them. but when another phone try to connect to my phone everything works fine.
what could be the problem?
i have version 5.81 of firmware.

Nokia 5310 Charging Problems

Hi, I got this phone today and when I first loaded everything, it worked fine although the battery was low. A few minutes later, it automatically turned off and I was unable to read what the prompted message was before it shut down. The charger was already in when I turned it on and I was wondering whether or not there is supposed to be a screen indicating the charging process? Because I am not seeing any.

when you buy new phone the battery is very low so i would give a good 12 hour charge the battery signal bar normally goes up and down when charging also there is a new firmware update check to see if yours is up to date

Forgot Nokia 5310 Key unlock code

i have forgotten the code which unlocks my nokia 5310 keypad
i really need some help because i can't do anything without it.
Also if it helps i of course have all the items that came with it usb, instructions,etc
if i left anything out please ask, because i really need to get it unlocked (preferably at home rather than taking it somewhere)

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do as an end-user. If there was, the security code would be of little use...
Your only options are:
1) remember the security code, or
2) Take the phone to a Nokia Care Point, where they can reset the security code.
Note that the NCP will want to see documents proving that you are the owner of the phone and that is isn't one you "borrowed" or "found" somewhere. An invoice showing the phone's IMEI and your name, and photo ID are what's required usually.

Nokia 5310 - Display freeze problem

Hi,
I got a new Nokia 5310 last week and its doing great and i like it a lot, except for the following problem..
Problem description:
I find the phone display freezed and become grey and stopped responding to any keys..
this happened first time (on day two) with low battery and then started observing it frequently now (once in two days), when the phone is left with screen saver..,
at this state, when a call is made to phone, caller can hear the phone is ringing, but the phone is still dead..,
the only way to correct this is, remove the battery and reboot the phone.,
Query:
before going to nokia care centre, will this be a firmware bug (based on reported problems) or hardware bug(specific to my handset)??

sometime if i get a message at 1.30 it would say some random time like 1.50 or sometime less than 1.30

Problem with a nokia 5310 xpress and a bluetooth

i have problem with a nokia 5310 xpress and a bluetooth!i can transfer anything from my phone to pc with or without pc suite! but when i want to transfer files from pc to phone i doesen"t work! with pcsuite soethings work but very slow! i want to transfer files witout pcsuite !
the blue tooth adapter it is dongle and it the software that i use is BlueSoleil 2.6.08
CAn anyone help me?

Nokia 5310 problems/firmware/updates????

right people after buying my nokia 5310 a week ago i have changed it twice, first time the camera did not work, 2nd time the phone kept restarting whilst listening to music. Now i have a 3rd nokia 5310 and it has restarted twice whilst listening to music, it has also crashed whilst recieving a missed call. After doing research i understand there may be a new version of firmware available (v 3.63) does anybody know where to find the version as this may fix the problems???? i have also read that it is a mp3 codec problem that causes the phone to restart so we should change them to mp4s using nokia pc suite this has fixed the problem for most people with nokia 5310s. IF ANYBODY HAS V 3.63 OR KNOWS WHERE TO DOWNLOAD IT COULD YOU LET US KNOW PLEASEEEEEEEEE!!!!! THANX
