Hi Guys and Gals,
The saga of getting my 6680 unlocked continues. After posting a message on this board about who is hiding the unlocking codes (THREE or NOKIA) I have now come to a conclusion. THREE have them but won't give them out. I have just had an hour discussion with a guy called ELVIS from THREE customer service who are based in INDIA! Obviously I got a guy who just read the rubbish of his terminal. It seems to me THREE are scared to give the codes out to customers who are NOT on a contract with them as they don't want to loose their customers since their network is PANTS !!
Anyway, if you managed to get your 6680 unlocked from three then I would like to hear from you.
The fight continues .......

To put you in the picture, I am not on a THREE contract and I NEVER will be.
However, before calling THREE I bought a THREE PAYG sim card. I know what you are thinking, but it is better then not having a sim at all. Anyway, I explained very carefully that I was due to fly out to Pakistan in January for 6 months on business and a THREE PAYG phone will not work out there. Therefore, I would need to use a sim card in Pakistan to call within Pakistan. I would continue to use THREE when I arrive home to the UK.
Even after explaining all this .. I tried my luck an kept hammering on 'I WANT MY CODE'. Finally they said they would speak to higher management and get back to me.
They called back after an hour, and a so called techie spoke to me saying he has some codes. He gave codes all of which didn't work. Then he admitted that the codes he gave came from the a website. GREAT !!!!
I am now trying to get a phone from THREE as they gave me rubbish codes.
I am hoping they will send me either a correct code or a new phone unlocked !

Nokia 1112 Unlock Code Problem

Hi everyone,
I have received a Network unlock code from my supplier but when I use the unlock procedure my phone wont respond to the unlock code. Do any of you have any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Your code should be in similar format to this:
#pw+000000000000000+1#
You are using repeated "*" presses to obtain "pw+"?
There should be a maximum of five attempts on a non-BB5 phone unless some have been used up already.

I can't clear my data and message counters. I have used the usual 12345 but it just keeps saying code error. Any help out there please?

Unfortunately a visit to a Nokia Care Point with proof of ownership is now required if you have exhausted all possibilities to enable a reset of this feature.

Please am Ike and a best Nokia fun.. I've been using my 6500c for some years now and am in love with my device but am seriously encountering some mulfunction in my handset but unfortunately i cannot reset becos of incorrect codes. I tryd 12345 bt was nt working. Can anyone help me with beta reset code for 6500c??

As far as I know.. the default code should be 12345 only...and if that is not working means either you or someone else nave changed it.. In this scenario.. the only solution is to get it reset to the default 12345 at Nokia Care...Note that in absence of any back-up you will lose all your data...

You've forgotten the PIN number, or Phone Security Code?
If it's the PIN, contact your network, if it's the Security Code, take it to your nearest Nokia Service Centre

Forgot Nokia 5310 Key unlock code

i have forgotten the code which unlocks my nokia 5310 keypad
i really need some help because i can't do anything without it.
Also if it helps i of course have all the items that came with it usb, instructions,etc
if i left anything out please ask, because i really need to get it unlocked (preferably at home rather than taking it somewhere)

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do as an end-user. If there was, the security code would be of little use...
Your only options are:
1) remember the security code, or
2) Take the phone to a Nokia Care Point, where they can reset the security code.
Note that the NCP will want to see documents proving that you are the owner of the phone and that is isn't one you "borrowed" or "found" somewhere. An invoice showing the phone's IMEI and your name, and photo ID are what's required usually.

Possible I think. You may ask your provider if it does support that kind of service.

i am using nokia 5310 Xpressmusic and my phone IMEI is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that i got by using *#06# and using this IMEI i got the master code for my mobile is 4604172520 but while i try to restore factory setting this master code is not working please help me to retrieve my phone master code so that i can reset my phone.

The "master codes" are a myth, and don't work!
If you forgot your phone's security code, only a Nokia Care Point can reset the security code.

How to unlock memory card nokia 5310

i just updated my nokia 5310 firmware from 5.81 to 8.32 and now my memory card has locked itself.
can anyone help with this?
does anyone know the code?

Nokia N95 8GB unlock code?

hi i have this nokia n95 8GB i bought from ebay and its got some lock code on it and i dont know what it is, neither does the seller how do i reset the whole phone without needing to have put the lock code in?

Updating the firmware on an N95-2 will reset the security code to 12345.
However, your original query wasn't that clear. Is it the phone's security code you're asking for or the unlock code that allows you to use SIM cards from networks other than the original one the phone was used on (so-called restriction code)? Only the original network can provide the restriction code.
Also make sure that it is in fact a genuine N95-2 that you have. There are countless fakes on sale on eBay.

I called my carrier AT$T to request for unlocking code, the person (a man) told me immediately that I'm not eligible to unlock my phone and Nokia hasn't provided them with the code. I didn't give up and went to this site to get more help. The Chat Support Representative told me to contact the Customer Service at 1888-665-4228. The Service Rep (Michelle) was very helpful, and guide me on what to do. She asked me to call AT&T again and put the call in conference (so she could assist me, if there is a problem). However, this time I was lucky, since the AT&T Rep (Jessica T) was very helpful. She talked to me and assist me for almost 25 minutes, but it was all worth it since at the end I got my unlocking code immediately with the instruction how to do it.
You are right, it depends whom you are talking to in AT&T, the first person I spoke to definitely, has no intention of giving me the code, by passing the bucket to Nokia.

if you haven't changed the security code then the unlock code should be the same....

hi mate,
you came to the wrong place. unlocking has nothing to do with us, but everything to do with your network carrier. you will need to contact 3 to get your handset unlocked and for the unlock code.
