Nokia 5530 - Applications wont start

I sent some games to my Nokia 5530 via bluetooth, installed successfully and working, so then i made a folder in Applications directory and moved all the games onto that folder. The next day i turn on my phone, start a game it wont load up, none of the games would start in Games folder, the default games such as Bounce does start, what could be wrong?

if you move the games ( or apps) to a new folder in file manager(because you want to be organized), the phone is trying to find the file under the old location. Either put them back in the old location, or reinstall them from their new location. Hope this helps.

MBP Some applications wont start

When I try to start Miro or MS Office they wont start and want to send error reports. I send them but it doesnt solve anything. All the other applications open fine. I started another user on my mac book and tried to open the applications and they worked fine. Has anyone had this problem? Sould I just start a new user, and if I do how do I transfer all of my file. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

must be a ram -problem; call apple and tell them how many beeps ...
before you can try: open your mbp and take out one of your ram's and start, if beeps still occure take out this ram and put in the other you removed before ...
take care that ram seats properly !
p.s. look in your manual, how to open your mbp you can keep it open for this procedure above but take care that it's on a clean soft-cloth; also keep in mind what screws are where !

N-gage application wont start

I was playing some n-gage came at class today, exited the app and put my phone down. 20 minutes later when I wanted to start the n-gage app, it wouldn't start.
It starts to initialize, the screen empties, but instead of the application coming up, I'm right back where I was, and the application is not running. I even get that "running little blue arrow" next to the n-gage icon, then that disappears as well.
I even tried installing the app again, restarting the phone, removing the battery etc nothing changed.
I have an N82, not that it's relevant atm.
Any ideas?

Applications wont start

its a G3 most of the applications will no longer start, i've tried starting up from a different source from within the OS and from holding down the alt-shift-option-delete at startup but nothing will work. I'd like to scan the drive since i thing it must have errors. Any adive would be appreciated.

Look for: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
Open it, select your hard drive and click repair permissions. It will run for about five minutes doing stuff that seems completely inscrutable.
If the problem is not solved, you will need to boot from a System/Install CD, but do not proceed with the install! Instead, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. Select your hard drive. Click Repair. If errors, repeat the repair until clean (or stuck). If clean, click Repair Permissions.

Macbook Pro - Applications wont start without External Display

Apologies if this question has already been answered, but I have spent a lot of time Googling to no avail...
I have an early 2011 15" MBP with the following spec:

Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.8
I normally use the MBP with a 27" Cinema Display connected (mini display port/thunderbolt connector) and the clamshell shut. All is fine.
However, if I remove the external monitor and want to use the MBP with just its own display, some applications will not start. They bounce int he dock for a while and then hang, and need to be forcibly killed. Not all applications behave this way, but so far I have experienced this with Aperture 3.2, Omnigraffle, Parallels, Pixelmator.
Does anyonw have a clue whats going on and how to fix?

Thanks for your responses.
The adaptor has been removed from the Mac, and I have tried all the obvious solutions (like using detect displays), but to no avail.
I will try and investigate some other scenarious (like using a different external display) and see what happens.

Application wont start

I have an application for work wich when I click goes to the bar and disappears in a sec. I was told if I upgrade to snow leopard it will work but here is what my consol says

What is the name of the application that won't start?
You posted in the Leopard forum and your profile indicates you are running 10.5.8 which is Leopard.
Have you upddated to Snow Leopart as yet?
Are you trying to run Disk Utility?

Nokia software updater wont start

I have just installed the updater, but when I open the software, I get an application open up saying:
Starting application,
But then nothing else happens. It just hangs on my desktop and I have to use task manager to remove it.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

You 1st need to connect your cable to phone. Start PC suite & get connected. Then start NSU. NSU will then disconnect PC suit, search your phone and after finding your phone will start searching for new version of firmware and update. After NSU has done upgrading you exit and PC suit gets re-connected.

Config application wont load after update!

Hi everybody: I just update my z10 to the latest OS and now the configuration application wont start, well it actually does but shuts off inmediatly!
I have tried restoring it, restarting it, let it off for a while, and nothing seems to work, restore to factory setting and reloaded the OS and nothing!!!
HELP PLS!!!

I fix it!! i hook it up to another laptop with Win 8 and the latest BBL, since they dont communicate to each other, the BBL always ask for a reload! so i did it and it got the latest OS and fix the thing!! everything is good now. Still my Z10 dont talk with win8 but it got it fixed.
The other PC i used was wtih latest BBL and Win7.

Nokia 5530 wont start

I was starting up my nokia 5530 and it shows the nokia logo with white background thats it. I have taken out the battery and sim put them back in and just does the same even if its switched off and put in the charger and just shows the same thing. This is the second time this has happened but forgot how i got i working plus the phone is onlt over a month old can anybody help?

For how long have you had the battery out? Usually havening the battery out for approximately 20 minutes helps...

Cant install any application on my nokia 5530 xpre...

please help... i have a nokia 5530 xpress music and last week i decided to update my os from v32.x to v40.0.0.3
then all the apps started closing randomly and whatsapp started giving me trouble. .. i uninstalled them and when i try to reinstall it says file corrupted... even if i try to install nokia email it says file corrupted.. ive tried soft reset , hard reset, memory card format(both ways) and now when im trying to reinstall the firmware through ovi suite it says error code 12402... please help.. im really in a fix as to what i should do... please please... urgent... can i go back to my old firmware 32.0.0.7??????

Try reinstalling the Firmware after reboting both, the PC and the phone. Else, you may need to visit Nokia Care

MY NOKIA N97 WONT START

my phone wont start and honestly i dont want to hard reset and lose all my msgs and contacts and everything. it just freezes at the nokia logo and nothing happens and i discovered this problem is quite popular so what can i do to make it start?

Why would I want to make a hard reset and loose all my data if the phone doesn´t start properly, when I can simply take the battery out for 20 minutes and everything gets back to "normal"?!

Nokia 5800 wont start

My nokia 5800 xp. fell in water half year ago , then i taked it out of water, taked battery off and i dried it four days and dried with a foam too. then after that phone worked fine with no problems... and now it wont start, its only vibrates. i tried force start but nothing. i taked memoy card off and sim card off ...nothing.. i remember two days ago some problems started ( if i started recharging battery then phone recharged for some time and then said that battery is full) ... do someone know what to do... i think there is some hope, because its vibrates

Well unfortunately after you have dropped your phone in water it will most likely end its days due to corrosion after some time, but it could be other things too.
What you mean about force start? Hard reset?
If you haven't tried that, it's worth a shot, but if done successfully it will wipe contacts, messages etc off the phonememory. Otherwise you will have to take it to a Nokia care point for help.

Nokia N95 wont start up

Hi All,
my Nokia N95 wont start up,
this morning I tried to listen to the radio thru my Nokia N95, but no sound was coming out of the headphones so I thought it was a bug and I decided to turn my phone off and on again, and I havent been able to get it to turn back on since.
When I try to turn it on, the nokia logo appears, but the screen isnt properly backlit (looks like its on standby), there is no vibration that I normally get when I turn it on,and then after a few seconds the screen fades off as if the power to it was cut.
When I turned the phone off it still had 2 bars of battery left, I have tried charging the phone, and removing the battery, and I also tried holding down different buttons as I started the phone, but so far no luck.
the phone is probably about 8 months old, roughly.
tl;dr: phone wasnt outputting sound, I tried to restart it and it never started again.
any help would be appreciated!

Looks like you have already tried removing the battery and leaving it out for a vew minutes as well as the 3 finger reset. But just in case you were not doing it right, I'll explain it again.
Don;t forget to backup your phone before trying any of this.
Firstly take the battery out for 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference.
Then try the "3 finger deep reset" which is depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.
Also try restarting without the memory card.
If none of the above works then you will have no choice but to send it to your Nokia Care Point.

Try removing the memory card, and turning it on while plugged it.
Also try it with a new battery.
This also happened to me once, I even hard reset it and nothing happened. Turned out to be that the battery died suddenly.
