    I received one msg from my friend and after that, display was sometime showing mirror image, sometime water image and sometime i didn't even came to know what image it was actually showing. I banged the phone twice and display totally gone. This is the worst phone i have ever used. It gets hanged so many times, when we go to delete anything it gets hanged. Once we switch off and then switch it on, it takes 45 mins to load all msgs,, images songs etc etc. can u imagine 45 mins, i can't use my cell for 45 mins after switching it on.
    I am thinking of taking new phone, but now i really don't want to use nokia phones. After such a horrible experience.

    Regarding your concern, we checked that your phone is not compatible with Nokia CK-7W accessory. That is the main reason why you are having a hard time connecting those two with each other. However, we have identified that there are some carkits that you can use with your phone.
    Listed below are the said compatible carkits:
    - CK-300
    - CK-25W
    - CK-600

  • Nokia 5610 have problem with PC suite

    I have windows XP professional SP2, I install PC suite(software come with phone). I received a message after connecting the phone with my PC:
    "PC suite does not support the connected phone. Install a correct version of PC Suite and try again."
    I did download the new version: Nokia_PC_Suite_rel_6_85_14_1_eng_us_web
    And update the software but I still got the same problem.

    Newset version is a 4.82 (I think) and it seems to cure a few of the problems. PC sutie now recognizes my phone and the caller ID comes right in. That's all for now, here is the site: http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163

  • NOKIA 5610 XM PROBLEM WITH HEADPHONES

    Hi, i'm from Nicaragua and i have a Nokia 5610xm. The problem is that every time i put the headphones on, and then i take them out, the icon still appear on screen and the profile does not change (like i still have the headphones on). the only solution that i have in that moment is turnin off and then turn it on again. that really **bleep** me off!!! i don't know what can be the problem. there's no nokia care centre here in this country.
    i have tried with bluetooh headset and acts normally. it only happens with the wired headset
    Please if sombody knows what to do... tell me!

    Hi, i'm back...
    The thing is that the cellphone now is worst than ever!!! now it even doesn't turn on. i mean when you turn it on, shows the hands shaking and nokia logo but not more. it turns off again. shows a blank screen and you can put numbers but suddenly crashes.
    i looked for updates on the web and it says "sorry we don't have any updates for your product yet" or something like that. i'm from Nicaragua and i think that the updating thing it's only for erupean hardware versions.
    I don't know what to do. It's almost knew equipment...
    i forgot to mention that when you put charge on, it is like it has nothing: charges as always (showing a screen like screen saver) but if you turn it on same **bleep** happens.
    It's there a way to bring it to life again? please!

  • Nokia music manager problems with Nokia 6230 model...

    Hello. Recently I installed the newer version of nokia PC-Suite, the version 6.8.22. I have a nokia 6230 model HS-12 with HS-3 handsFree attached. Make the connection via Bluetooth (SMC USB Bluetooth) over a Windows XP SP2 system. The connection works fine.
    The problem arrives with the new MusicManager software.
    First, the playlists that this program creates, generates a error in mi phone. It says "Invalid tracklist". Surfing the web, the problem was that MusicManager generates the playlist entries (in the phone) refers to C:\ and D:\ (this for the MMC), when the phone internally works with unities A:\ and B:\. Changing "manually" the playlist it works, so if any people with design responsabilities read this, please take note.
    Second, when convert my .MP3 files into .AAC files, the program converts the files into a .AAC but in MONO !! The music only sound in one channel, when the .MP3 is full stereo. Really, the conversion is in Stereo, but only converts one channel. The other remains muted. I have no idea of this problem. I listen the "mono" files in any Windows player, even at the phone.
    If any people can help me, or have similar problems, or need more information please make a reply.

    The tracklist stuff with 6230 (Ive owned a 6230 before) is a very difficult procedure, because it is not a drag and drop process from PC to phone. You have to giggle and dive onto the Audio Manager app in PC Suite where you have to find the Playlist folder in your phone memory and place all playlists there to be able to be recognized by the phone. Simple drag and drop will not work (like the m3u is in the MMC).
    About your mono problem, I haven't checked out this feature of Music Manager because I still think its purely buggy even of the newer features and new face it has now. Better use other music software to transcode your MP3's such as dbpoweramp's Music Converter software (its free trial for 30 days, after that the MP3 encoding and Power Pack features are useless, if you download other codecs, you can use them after the trial.)

  • Nokia 306 and problems with Nokia Store

    I used to download apps from Nokia Store via SMS, but as you know that has now been cancelled, so I have tried to connect via my cable link through my PC, but although Nokia Suite recognises the phone, the Store acts as though it's not there and the buttons to "Download Via PC" and "Download Via Phone" are just grey and inoperable, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, am I just having a thick moment or is there something I need contact Nokia about

    Which browser are you using? The Nokia Suite needs to install a plugin to your browser to push the app to the Nokia Suite. Try using firefox.

  • T410 display replacable with T400 LCD screen?

    My friend recently had a T400 that broke, and he took apart the computer for the sake of doing so.
    He knew that I had a T410, and was wondering if I might want some of the parts. I knew that my screen was probably th biggest bottleneck I could upgrade for my computer, and immediately went for his screen. The screen was a LP141WP2. After some research, I've found that it is a LCD screen, just like my thinkpad t410. However, when I searched it up, I've found that it only put into T400. So, I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge about this matter. I don't want to go tearing up my beloved T410 if it isn't going to be replaceable.

  • Nokia 5610 hanging problem!

    my phone 5610 has a problem
    when i want to delete contacts(the group that i created) that i put in the favourite recipient(message settings) when i press the favourite recipients it now hangs!!!
    i need to press the cancel button(the red one)
    so i did a 2nd plan delete it by going to create message---->messga----> "to"(pressing add)---> then options then view then mark delete mark delete cause marking it all or deleteing the favourites directly causes my phone to white out then go back to the main menu. .
    but when i press view it hangs again. .then i'll again press cancel
    so again i did a plan (3rd) by deleting the groups that i had created then i'll just re-make again but still no success. .the favourites is still there with contacts. .

    Your speaker could be faulty return the device to a nokia care point for inspection it can be fixed.

    what is the difference of the version 9.40 and version 10.00 on the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic cause mine has 9.40(updated last august 2010{extended warranty till 2011})..
    *does 10.00 make the 5610's speaker more powerful/clearer/or make the sound quality even better or louder??
    *does 10.00 doesn't appear any white screens or black screens when in use..
    *does it make faster than 9.40 when opening folders,go to music player(like when you set the musicplayer theme to default when you slide the slider key to the music player it appears fastly but set it to themes like sine vaves etc..when you slide it(slider key)it shows black for just milli sec. then the musicplayer will appear same with the radio).this is the problem on 9.40
    *how about setting the video in full screen in 9.40 the problem(bug)is still there the choppy sound(sometimes choppy) the back(word back button coz it is like the back word button is something like dot dots)

    *battery life??camera quality??

    how about sound quality??why it doesnt affect the camera quality..cause i has a cousin who owned a 5610 just like mine..i compare the camera(with flash)..and i saw that my cousins 5610 is overexposed(5610d-1 v5.??) and mine has better quality with flash(9.40) how bout 10..and some says the sound quality of the 5610 in v10.00 had been improved.

    The issue of firmware on operator-variant models is a common sore point on these boards.
    Unfortunately, Nokia's hands are tied. The operators have to approve new versions of the software before they can be applied to any phone sold to them by Nokia as their own variant.
    You will probably find that the operators' customer service staff are trained only to give advice on network services, if you want answers on issues other than that you need to locate the operator's head office and pester them. If you are a contract customer, that address should appear on your bill.

    i want to know if nokia has any plans of doing a succesor for the nokia 5610 xpressmusic
    i know the nokia X3. but it doesn't have the same feature as the 5610 like music slider and a dual led flash
    if theyre doing it

    still the music slider is still there and it will have a flashing music player lights while playing.
    more louder a little bit cause this 5610 is much louder than 5800, nokia 5130(who says it is louder), nokia X3(which has 2 stereo type speakers but still no match for the 5610)
