Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic Problem

Hey everyone. I have this anoying problem with my Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic. I really need help, I have checked around everywhere on the internet almost and haven't find any answer for my issue. My issue is:
When someone calls me and im pressing "Answer", they can hear me but I can't hear them. I can only hear them if I have the headset inplugged but I can't hear them with that little ear speaker or what should I called it. So please, I beg you before I crash my Nokia, PLEASE HELP ME

Nokia 5610 hanging problem!

my phone 5610 has a problem
when i want to delete contacts(the group that i created) that i put in the favourite recipient(message settings) when i press the favourite recipients it now hangs!!!
i need to press the cancel button(the red one)
so i did a 2nd plan delete it by going to create message---->messga----> "to"(pressing add)---> then options then view then mark delete mark delete cause marking it all or deleteing the favourites directly causes my phone to white out then go back to the main menu. .
but when i press view it hangs again. .then i'll again press cancel
so again i did a plan (3rd) by deleting the groups that i had created then i'll just re-make again but still no success. .the favourites is still there with contacts. .

Nokia 5610 XpressMusic Startup Problem..

Hi, I have Nokia 5610 XM startup problem with memory card.. (I tried with 3 different micro SD card also)

If I remove the memory card, then it starts succefully.. And if I plug in back memory card, then phone restarts in 2hours or in calling time... sorry about my English..

it sounds like it could be the memory card connectors or something like that if you say that it works fine without the card in, you might want to take it to nokia care point for them to have a look at this issue.

Hey guys i got the new nokia 5610 blue but when i bought it, it didn't have it's themes it had the nokia 5610 red themes.. so can somebody please tell me where i can get the original nokia 5610 blue themes?

"Hey to help everyone with the memory card going to default problem. It happens when you take the backcover off the phone, because if u look closely at the underside of the back cover, you will see that the metal framing around the camera and flash also acts as a connector for the MMC completing the circuit - there is a connector on the camera side and another on the flash side. So if you take the backcover off the phone while in use, you actually disconnect the memory card by breaking the circuit and thus any ringtones or wallpapers that you have set from the memory card goes back to default. Nokia 5610 charging problems

My nokia 5610 cell phone died. 3.7V Li-ion battery, got out my volt meter last night and the battery checks 2.9V. Obviously a dead battery. I assume that this battery is lost now and cannot be saved. My question though is I checked the voltage coming out of the power adapter at my wall and it is 6V so I assume the circuitry is in the phone that takes care of the charge cycle. Before the battery completely died my phone was still working and I tried to charge it, and the phone would not acknowledge that my charger was plugged in. When the phone finally died I plugged it in overnight and still nothing.
Is this typical that a battery will just stop accepting a charge? Or is it possible that the charging circuit in my phone has gone bad and will kill any battery I put in my phone? I'd rather not waste the money on another battery if it is my phone that is broken.

Nokia 5610 browsing problem

Hi, i can not browse web with my nokia 5610 but i can browse with nokia browser. Also i can not use any software which need network connection. it says that i have to activate my network for java.
can anybody help me plz. my firmware version is 4.20.

NOKIA 5610- 10 PROBLEMS!

Hello everybody this is my first post. I have a Nokia 5610 I bought 1 month ago and I want to describe the main dis advantages I can see in this phone.. Please comment if you own one with your opinions on what to do. help, or anything to add...
1. No SECURITY , you cant make the phone ask you for security code when you turn the phone.. This is a major flaw considering ALL my previous cell phones had this.. So if they steal your phone or someone wants to use it there is no barriers.. Really bad.
2. No InCall timer. This is amazing from nokia how can they release a phone that does not have the option of showing how long you've been talking??? This is really bad, you can choose "call resume" function which shows you the time at the end of the call but its not the same.
3. NO FLASH as LIGHT! what is this?? I mean how come it has such a great light to be used as flash and you cant use it as flashlight?? how many times you are in a dark situation? I was used to take out my phone and spare some light. (keys, dark stairs, ect.. even shooting video at night.) Well.. not possible.
4.MICRO USB .. Why??? why didint you just stay with miniUSB?? Why micro?? who uses micro? nobody.. so if you lost that cable its really hard to get and you cant charge it (phone )through a computer so its useless.. This slot is useful just to connect the computer to a PC.. Attention ; The charger is a different slot.
5. No 3.5mm jack.. so you cant connect your normal headphones you have to connect the nokia ones or use an adapter..
6.No Auto lock keypad.. You have to manually lock the keypad every time .
7.No battery warning signal.. There is no absolute sing of the battery telling you its going to finish.. No red line , no sound (MO), no screen message.. (SE) , no nothing.. you just go to sleep and wake up the phone has been with no battery since you who knows... you put it in your pocket go out.. check it a 2 am .. absolutely dead.. with no warning..
8. No MAPS,..
9. No searching songs or artist title through the numbers keyboard .. so stupid.. you have a thousand songs and you have to scroll allll the way down .. wouldn't it be quicker to just press the 1st letter??
10.Cant send SMS from the phonebook menu.. Im sorry but this is really retarded, you see the options of a contact on the phonebook list and theres 10 options but no "send sms" option.
So prepare to go to SMS menu and then not even scroll but ADD new recipient.. i mean **bleep**??
The rest is pretty decent.. nice sound , quality of images, interface, speed...
But nokia please!! cant you release a software update at least??

My Reply: This feature is available at the Settings menu which you can change the setting of security.. there's 2 option there, if i'm not mistaken..It requires u to insert the securit code.. and for changes of sim card, it do requires the security phone unlock code.. maybe u might mislook the function there.. check it out..

My Reply: Correct me if i'm wrong, do u mean "Call Duration Timer?" If yes, then as the same judgement as above, you might mislook the function which you may edit settings on the "Call Setting"..

My Reply: Ohh yea.. this could be a fair bid to nokia and consumer then.. there's a reason which why nokia doesn't provide the flash light, although 5610 user knew tht its' flash are bright enuff to shine a darkness.. AS consumer, we have the right to choose which is the phone which suits our lifestyle.. hence, for all future buyer on mobile, make a survey on needs and not trend.. coz it will ends up in unsatisfaction like me though..

My Reply: Ouch.. My fellow bro or sis.. this is the reason as we can see the technology and Nokia always comes out with a New..New..New.. mobile.. the technology never ends.. As mentioned earlier.. Nokia packages its' theme and concept or personality for each phone.. This Nokia 5610 is meant for music lover.. which there's fast key for any music turn on/of.. and its speaker.. As for consumer, we hv to knows wut we want and wut is the budget of any purchase.. Nokia comes out with quite of models which can cope with the consumer needs as of:-GPS; N95 8Gb, Navigator or etc..

My Reply: Correct me if i'm wrong, do u mean tht through contacts, u would like to send a SMS..? If is, then u might miss a step tht makes u think tht u can't send any SMS though contacts.. I'll list down a few step below;-
1. Go to Contacts or press the "down" key
2. Choose any of your Pals name / number
3. Press on the name selected
4. You'll see your pal's name and number at the full screen
5. Press again the menu/ option
6. You'll see the list of option, "Send Message"
*** For an ex user of Nokia 5610, My main concern is their conponent as off the left/right slide radio on/off button .. In software, there's no issue for me.. nmw, advise as a user, purchase the right phone which caters your personality and needs.. It will gives u the positive bout Nokia technology..

Anybody let me know how to install flash lite player on nokia 5610 phone.....
i know that the phone supports flash lite player but i m not able to find out how to download it on to my mobile and the website from where i can download the application.....

It is either already built-in (part of the firmware), or it isn't. If it isn't, you can't add/install it.

there are quite many possibilitiesroblems with the loudspeaker or the equilizer wasnt properly tuned..or sometimes things like sounds of the electricity from the battery is heard..visit an autorised repairer would solve your problem~

Nokia 5610 XpressMusic video song play problem

Hello I have purchased the above phone on 02.08.2008 and installed the pc suite.I created a video song folder in the memoy card.When I copy a song with .flv extension format song it says 'the format is not supported'. When the file manager is used to transfer such a video song file it simply did not detect the file.kindly help me

FLV is a video format designed for web use for web sites like Youtube and Myspace, it is not supported by phones except in the case of S60 smartphones with a compatible version of Flash player to view such web sites.
The 5610 is an S40 phone, which cannot support this at all. You will have to find a file converter to make the file into a 3GP, MPEG-4 H264 or MPEG-4 VSP format before transferring it to the phone.

1)How can i see myshelf in the 3G camera without calling ? Because I think the 3G camera is damaged ..and i want to see is that working or no..
2)another problem:
if i want to call with 3g camera then it tells "umts connection missing" .. what to do??

U need to subscribe for 3G first,which will enable you to make a video call,in which the front camera is used,so u can see urself...the secondary camera cannot be tested or sumthing like dat...it cam only be used while video calling

Problem with Flash Lite in Nokia 5800 XpressMusic-Problema con Flash Lite en Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

I've got a problem playing videos in YouTube with my 5800. Recently I updated my version of Flash Lite to 3.1, from that day I can't see correctly videos on YouTube, when the the indicator of the bar reaches 1/4 of the totallity of the bar, the sound and image stop, but the indicator continues playing. If i want to see completly a video I have to put the indicator in the start of the bar and wait the load again. Some idea to fix this problem?

Hace poco actualicé la versión del Flash Lite a la 3.1 y desde entonces no puedo ver correctamente vídeos de YouTube, cuando el indicador de la barra alcanza 1/4 de la distancia total, se detienen el sonido y la imagen, pero el indicador continúa como si siguiera reproduciendo, es decir para el vídeo es como si siguiera reproduciendo pero ni el sonido ni la imagen continúan., para ver los vídeos tengo que llevar el cursor de carga al principio y esperar la carga de nuevo, es un problema realmente molesto. ¿Alguna idea para solucionarlo?

I have Nokia 5800XM as well. The YouTube videos are playng fine for me. my FW is 40.0.005 with FL3.1
Maybe you need to update your device's firmware and FL version.\
Start Device Manager application on your 5800XM from menu or dialing *#0000#. It will check for new updates and ask you to download them. Remember that these updates are in MBs. I'd recommend update using a WiFi connection or flat-rate data plan.
