Nokia 5700 - Barcode software - camera problem

I hope that someone of nokia or someone that resolved write me!
Nokia does not give us a version for 5700 but give a list of third part to download.
I tried all!
But every 3rd part Barcode program rotate the image of 90 degrees so i cannot understand what i'm seeing!
This phone have the camera in a different position and the display is landscape and not vertical.
Sorry for my english. I hope you understood!
With every barcode software i saw the image 90 degree rotate.
Someone with a 5700 found a working software for barcode?
Or someone now how to rotate the camera image?

Nokia 6500 phone software update problem

i m having nokia 6500s-1. product key is 0556765. the software version is 4.04. now 7.62 version for 6500s is available. but my product key is not showing any upgrade version of phone software. again my phone sometimes hang and restart while talking. the theme also shift to default theme suddenly. what can i do ???

Hi there Hamraam, been reading this thread and if you continue to have the problems with your phone, I would suggest taking your phone to your local Nokia Care Centre for them to take a look at. That is strange that calendar entries and personalised settings are not being restored to your phone after the update.
It is unlikely that Nokia will release another firmware update for the 6500 Slide. It was released in October 2006 or thereabouts, same as the 5610 XpressMusic, and with the release of newer models, the support cycle for the 6500 Slide has most likely ended with the release of the last update, 10.00, for unbranded product codes of the handset.

i bought my brand new ASHA 309 recently. but i am facing a problem regarding the software update.
when i try to update my software using fota or nokia suite it show up to date. but my version of software is 5.85v
i really need the update.

Did you double check the Nokia Product Code on the label (of your phone) and within the tool? I am very curious why I do not see that code.

Nokia 5700 XM software update

Software update still not available. I checked with NSU and it says that my current firmware version (v 3.27) is the latest one.
However a new update is very much needed since there are a few problems which need to be addressed quickly.
1. The LOUDNESS of the phone
2. Sudden phone resets
3. Sudden application closures
4. Existence of Temporary files if application wasn't installed successfully.
5. Battery life if possible
6. Amount of free RAM available
Its been about 10 months and there is STILL NO UPDATE!!

I am using Nokia 5700 and have 2 problems, plz hel...

1) I downloaded and installed Nokia Mobile Search 4.0, but I don't see any change. There is no field in the Active Standby or no 'Search icon' in Menu. I rebooted it twice and reinstalled once, but no hope. What to do?
2) 5700's web browser does not support horizontal page, so I installed Opera 4.0. But I don't see 'Zoom in/out' and 'find keyword in page' function in it. Doesn't Opera have these 2 most important features? If it does, then where is it?

alrite. I have made my mistake. I should not jail break my iphone. So if I purchase my apps again from itunes is that mean mean my data will be back?
I hope you guys can giv me some support here since I am Apple genuine buyer. I could be wrong last time and now I turn over a new leaf and learn a lesson.

Nokia N95 8GB software update problem

I have tried to update my phone software to V30.0.018 using software updater and nokia Ovi suite but still it won't work. The download starts saying the download is 115.7 MB long but the last time i tried it was up to 700MB and still downloading. I only have a dongle for connecting to the internet using windows7. I recently updated the software on my sony ericsson satio and it only took 15mins so why is this update not working for me ?

Once installed connect your phone to your pc using the if my memory serves me right the DKE-2 usb cable and use PC Suite to check for and install any available updates.

Nokia X6-00 8gb Camera problem

Hello, i have this mobile phone for like a two weeks, but it was just like that from the day I had bought it. Take a look at pictures taken from it, same is for video files. Horizontal purple lines flashing when camera is turned on, and it maintains in photos and videos. Photos links:

You can check for updates by connecting your phone to PC using USb and Ovi suite.. Then select software update in the Ovi suite menu.. If any available it will prompt you.. You may then follow the instructions on screen.. But Back-up before this is must as you will have to re-install / restore applications and other details that are in the phone memory..

Nokia 5700 AD-44 Huge Problem

Hi i disassembled my nokia AD-44 accessory and the battery still has 3,06V left so it is not exhausted. The phone started to recognize the enhancement but the buttons on it are not working. Please help. Thank you for further replies.

And curious about it is that when I plug in the AD44 without connected battery to my 5700, the phone detects the enhancement but when I connect the battery to it it says: Enhancement not supported ! I even plugged in the battery from the motherboard from my comp because it is a "good one" (Panasonic) but still no change.

Problem with Nokia 5700's audio adapter

I have recently updated my Nokia 5700's firmware with the newest version. But now I can't use my audio adapter(this thing: http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/7485/adapteryb4.jpg ) which is connected with the headphones. While I listened to music, I tried to press any of the music control buttons but they didn't work. I am sure it is not broken and the problem is from the firmware, because the adapter was perfectly working before the update. Does anyone have a solution?

it's not bacause of the update you did. it's the damned thing itself. Main died several mounts ago. There's a problem with the battery inside the remote control. NOKIA you give all customers new ones through care centers.

Nokia 5700 Lock Code Problems

Hi All
This is what I do.
Menu - Settings - Phone Settings - General - Security - Phone and Sim - Lock Code
When I select Lock Code it asks me to enter the Lock Code so I enter ANY number over 5 digits, it asks for a new lock code so I enter 67890 (5 digits), Asks to verify so I re-enter it correctly and I get a code error.
If I repeat this process 5 times it says I've entered the Lock code incorrectly and can't do it again for 5 minutes.
It also asks for this code when I attempt to reset the phone to which I enter 12345 and it errors, plus it asks for the lock code when I try to set up a timed phone lock.
If I enter any 4 digit code it just asks for Lock Code again.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I too attempted to take it to a Nokia Service Centre, who reflashed it but to no avail.
I then took it to an independant mobile repair centre and he was able to resolve the problem.
He advised that the lock code had been changed and they were able to read it (giving me the old code which I didn't recognise) and then resetting it to 0000.
I would have thought the NSC reflash would have resolved this.

I have the same issue on my iPhone 5s
I've closed the app and re-booted the phone several times but it did not resolve the issue.
Upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 did not resolve it either.
Erasing the iPhone and restoring from a backup did not resolve it.
I'm not sure what else to do.

When I did this, the machine went to a gray start up screen with an apple and will not progress. I've waited more than 30 minutes and tried restarting again by holding the power button. Also, restore cd 1 will not eject so the computer will no longer move past the gray screen with spinning circle. Restore CDs had never beeused and were still in packaging in the original box. Ran hardware test just to check, and it came back as normal. Now what? I live nowhere near a genius bar :(

That's called a kernel panic...
Since the install disc won't eject, try starting up while holding down the C key. If the Mac won't boot while holding down the C key, try ejecting disc by either holding down the mouse while starting up or holding down the Eject key while starting up.
Try booting from your install disc so you can run Disk Utility in case the startup disk needs repairing.
Insert your install disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
(In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first from the installer menu)
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your startup disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. Make sure there is always 15% free space.
