Nokia 5700 XpressMusic Browser Crash

My Nokia 5700 XM's Web Browser crashes as soon as i run it.
As soon as i click on "Browser", it seems like opening, but quits suddenly.. Please let me know how to restore it.. I'm very much in need of it..
And also some of the applications seem to remain in the phone though i've removed it completely.. The icons of the removed applications will still be present, even after uninstalling..
Please help me out removing them..

I tryed to acces the following site: www.erepublik.com which has flash content. The browser loads a part of the site and then exits ( crashes ) without warning. I tryed to install another browser from http://www.skyfire.com/ but this one crashes without loading any site: it asks me which connection to use and then it displays a "connecting..." message after which it crashes ( after about 30 sec ). I have updated my firmware to the latest version ( 6.01 ) and reseted to factory settings but no luck. I continue to have the same problem. Any solution ? It's very annoying.

It works on my firefox and XP. Maybe the site is trying to download something, or one of your software extensions is interfering.

Nokia 5700 XpressMusic Bluetooth Headset connectiv...

Just bought a new 5700 and the phone just hangs as soon as i conntct it to my jabra bt200 headset. I got it replaced with a new one twice but with the same result. It's got the latest firmware and no third party softwares installed. Anyone facing the same problems or anyone using the headset without problems, I'd love to hear from u. I love the phone and am not willing to part with it, any suggestions on this will be of a great help....

Try to update or re-install the software of your device. Then, check if you can connect your Bluetooth headset to your phone. Check herethe steps to update software.

Weird Nokia 5700 XpressMusic Problem

two days ago my phone started to do so weird stuff.
Even though i squeezed my mind trying to find a solution , nothing!
Here is the prob:
it seems like the twist has gone wrong, a discrepancy.
when i twist the camera up it's the music player that shows etc
and i cannot dial any digital key since then, i have to turn it off then on to.
Plzzz HELP, i really doubt if it is a software problem

i have exactly the same problem and ive spent ages looking for a solution... anybody help?????

Nokia 5700 Lock Code Problems

Hi All
This is what I do.
Menu - Settings - Phone Settings - General - Security - Phone and Sim - Lock Code
When I select Lock Code it asks me to enter the Lock Code so I enter ANY number over 5 digits, it asks for a new lock code so I enter 67890 (5 digits), Asks to verify so I re-enter it correctly and I get a code error.
If I repeat this process 5 times it says I've entered the Lock code incorrectly and can't do it again for 5 minutes.
It also asks for this code when I attempt to reset the phone to which I enter 12345 and it errors, plus it asks for the lock code when I try to set up a timed phone lock.
If I enter any 4 digit code it just asks for Lock Code again.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I too attempted to take it to a Nokia Service Centre, who reflashed it but to no avail.
I then took it to an independant mobile repair centre and he was able to resolve the problem.
He advised that the lock code had been changed and they were able to read it (giving me the old code which I didn't recognise) and then resetting it to 0000.
I would have thought the NSC reflash would have resolved this.

My nokia 6630 web browser crashes down when attempting to open (www.mobango.com) I formatted the fone but it still doesn't help.I would like some advice abt the above problem.

* There Must An Application To Run Phone In Landscape Mode.
* Loudness Of Music Must Be Enhanced.
* Music Player Should Be Paused While There Is NAy Incomming Call.
* Camera Quality Should Be More Better.
* Camera Zoom Should Be 10X or More.
* More Visulaization Should BE Added.
* When Create ANy New Folder In Images Folder Through Gallery and Move All Images To Newly Create Folder Then Only One Image Moved To That Folder. This Bug Should Be Fixed.
* Radio Sound Must Be More Louder.
* There Must Be Option To Remove Themes Via Application Manager.
* Warning Tones Must Be Fast. Warning Tones Heard After 2 sec Of The Notification.
* Loudness Option Should Work As It Is Not Working In The Current Firmware.
* The Phone Restart Automatically, This Bug Should Be Fixed.
* There Must Be 25-30 mb free Ram Available as In The Current Version Only 18 mb Free Ram Is Available.

Try clearing privacy data in browser to get a bit of ram back. if no good , do hard reset, you'll need to re-set up phone so back up first. Then type *#7370# and use passkey 12345 and phone will re-start and be like'out of the box' your memory card will not be affected.

Nokia N80 Web Browser: "Web already in use"?

Just got my nokia N80, connected to my WLAN perfectly, I managed to have a couple of hours browsing the internet using the Web browser found under "My Own", I wanted to see if msn Web Messenger would work, after the login the web browser crashes.
Now if i try and get back onto the Web Browser I get a message saying "Web already in use", I've restarted the phone, I've even taken the battery out and restarted but this message still appears, I've googled and searched these forums but I can't seem to find any info on this, does anybody know what the problem is, and why the browser seems to crash on certain pages?

My new E61 was working fine but today when I tried to access the Internet I got a "Web: Already in Use" notice and could not access it. I had to hard reformat of the phone (thanks to T-Mobile tech support)and reinstall all of my email and internet settings. I have read on several user forums that this problem has occurred with some regularity. Obviously I do not want to reformat the phone all the time. Are there any other solutions? One user said they brought the phone into a local Nokia store for a software flash but did not say if it worked. Since I am in US, there is no local store to bring it to. Does have any ideas on how to solve this issue? Shouldn't Nokia be saying or doing something?

The problem is when I browse to web site that using 'Thai (TIS-620)' charset,
the character appears like it is using 'Western' charset.
but when i go to setting > page and change default encoding to 'Thai (Windows)' it can work properly
for example

that page use 'TIS-620' as default charset. so if i open it, the character messed up
and then try change encoding to 'Thai (Windows)' it can display the page properly.

PC Suite with Nokia 5700 uses two COM ports?

I am using Nokia PC Suite 6.84 with a Nokia 5700. The phone is connected to the laptop via a USB cable. I have installed the software on two separate laptops, one running XP with Service Pack 2, another running Vista.
Whenever I plug-in the phone, I see two COM ports associated with it. The first COM port shows up in Window’s device manager as COM port 6 (see attached JPG), however, this COM port seems invalid. When I use HyperTerminal, I see two COM ports displayed: COM port 6 and COM port 7. Using HyperTerminal, I can communicate with the Nokia 5700 on COM port 7 but COM port 6 is always unresponsive.
Can anyone tell me:
1. Why two COM ports are used with the Nokia 5700 and PC Suite?
2. What is the purpose of these two COM ports?
3. Are they always contiguous? On different computers, I have seen the Nokia phone bind to COM ports 6 and 7, 9 and 10, and 10 and 11.
NOTE: I could not attach the file as a JPG, so I renamed it with a *.log extension. Just replace with .log with .jpg and view it in any browser.

Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic Problem

Hey everyone. I have this anoying problem with my Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic. I really need help, I have checked around everywhere on the internet almost and haven't find any answer for my issue. My issue is:
When someone calls me and im pressing "Answer", they can hear me but I can't hear them. I can only hear them if I have the headset inplugged but I can't hear them with that little ear speaker or what should I called it. So please, I beg you before I crash my Nokia, PLEASE HELP ME

Your speaker could be faulty return the device to a nokia care point for inspection it can be fixed.
