Nokia 5800 Garmin XT -help

Question

Hi all,
Need help , i have downloaded the Garmin Xt navigation in my 5800, but every time i go to launch it gives be following option;
Purchase and go.
begin free trial
enter product key
connect to a garmin GPS.
but i f go for free trial it says could not connect to garmin server. check your connection setting .
please help

I'm not familiar with Garmin software, but there are two ways this might be working:
(1) The software could be using the phone's standard internet settings, in which case go to the settings, connectivity and "Destinations>Internet" - this will show all of hte internet access points that you have, which might typically include your home WLAN plus your network operator's access points. The phone tries all of the access points in sequence to see if it can make a connection, if all fail you get the connection error. In this case, check that your access points are correct (your operator settings can be done via the Settings Wizard or the operator can send them direct to the phone).
(2) Some software applications have their own control over which internet access point they use, so if you are sure that you settings in the phone are correct, look for a "Settings" option in the Garmin software itself for a setting related to interent access points, and choose the conenction method you intend to use.
