Nokia 5800 - Loses the wireless connection

Hello.
I have a Nokia 5800 cellphone from a week ago.
I have a problem with the WIFI (Wireless connection).
If I connect to a WIFI, in approximately 5 minutes the connection hangs, losing the connection. It seems random hangs.
It happens in all applications, and I have to connect again.
I tried with several different connections (WIFIs), and the same result.
Sometimes it stays connected longer, but generally falls.
Anybody know it can be, and the solution?
Thank you very much.

I have had this happen as well sitting right across from my router. Can be working fine and then all of a sudden kicks me out to the home screen. Since there is no connection failure message I have to conclude that it is a random bug, possibly with the built in browser. I have not tested this with Opera Mini yet to see if it is hardware or software related.
If I have helped you with your problem in some way, please take a little time and hit the kudos button in my post. Without your feedback, I don't know if I am being helpful or should just be put out to pasture.

  • My computer loses the internet connection

    hello,
    I have a big problem. When I connect my iPhone, my computer loses the internet connection. Before everything was perfect. I have my iPhone since June 2010.
    I need your help please

    I may have the same/a similar problem.  I got the my WRT54GS v7 router on Wednesday (12/26) but I didn't have a change to install it until Sunday (12/30).  I was able to get it set up just fine (PPPoE access through local SBC DSL)... my wife and I got our computers hooked up (wired) to the router, and our Wii was hooked up wirelessly.  Everything seemed to be working great... but the router seems to be dropping the connection every few hours.  If I power off/power on the router, it finds the connection again... but I don't want to be resetting the router every few hours from now until forever.  I'm not 100%, but this may very well be happening every time we connect wirelessly... the first time was when we got the Wii set up, then when a friend connected wirelessly, and then again with the Wii a few more times.  I know it is not the internet connection myself... we've had this connection for a few years, and used an older Linksys router that worked just fine (we went to WRT54GS to go wireless).  The router is locked down with WPA2-personal encryption, and quite a long random string to get in, so I'm pretty sure it is not outsiders.  I tried a firmware upgrade and that didn't help at all either.  I'd be interested in seeing a solution to this problem soon please!  (I'm not sure I understand the instructions of the one response already on this thread.)

  • After downloading Yosemite, my HP Photosmart D110 printer will no longer work. The wireless connection is fine but says it cannot find my printer when trying to print.

    After downloading Yosemite my printer, a HP Photosmart D100 will no longer print. The wireless connection is fine, and a test page printed perfectly directly from my printer. When trying to print from my computer, it says it cannot connect or find the printer. I tried downloading the most updated software from HP website but it doesn't appear to be helping.

    Try resetting the printing system.
    OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
    If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

  • Satellite A660-13T - I can't go from 65 Mbps with the wireless connection.

    +Sorry for my English, is not my native language.+
    Hi,
    I expose my problem:
    I can't go from 65 Mbps with the wireless connection. I can't move from that connection speed.
    Laptop configuration:
    * Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits (with all updates installed).
    * All drivers updated properly.
    * With the latest version of BIOS.
    Router:
    * Tp-link TL-WR1043ND, installed 3 meters above the laptop (without obstacles).
    Configuration of router:
    * WPA2-PSK AES.
    * 802.11n
    * Maximum output power.
    * Channel: 11 (not automatic, this channel is relatively free).
    * Channel width: 40 Mhz.
    * Maximum tx rate: 300 Mbps.
    Other information:
    * The wireless card drivers are correctly then updated (ver. 5.60.48.35).
    * The router has updated firmware.
    * I have tried all settings of the wireless card.
    * Bluetooth off (without interferences).
    * {color:#ff0000}There are other computers on the network that connects 150 and 300 Mbps (with the same network configuration).{color}
    Thanks in advance,
    Greetings.

    Hi buddy,
    > I kept O.S. original for a week and the problem was the same
    If you had the same problem with factory settings you should test another router. Maybe its a malfunction of router or something else (not compatible to your WLAN card).
    Furthermore ask the manufacture of your router if they know something about this.
    In worst case its a hardware malfunction of your notebook. You should contact nearest service centre. I believe they can fix it under warranty, because A660 is pretty new notebook.
    Good luck! :)

  • Re: Satellite L350-262 - The wireless connection adaptor is disabled

    Basically my laptop is a couple of weeks old, it was working fine wirelessly until suddenly one day it stopped, it nows says The wireless connection adaptor is disabled, how can I resolve this? any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Can you please provide more details?
    Can you see the WLan card in device manager?
    Are there any yellow exclamation marks?
    Does the other FN buttons work properly?
    Is your BIOS up to date? Did you set it to default settings?
    If not do this!
    Last solution; try system recovery. This will set the notebook back to factory settings.

  • Is possible for me to use the wireless connection from my Macbook Pro

    Hi All, I just got my iPad 16GB WIFI and I would like to know if it is possible for me to use the wireless connection from my Macbook Pro. Basically I will be travelling quite a bit and my Macbook Pro has a Wireless 3G dongle. Is it possble to use this via the 'internet share' option so that the iPad can connect to the 3G wireless via the Macbook Pro?

    Yes. Just use internet sharing on your MacBook Pro.

    To free up hard drive space the best bet is to move data files that you don't need access to all the time. Likely candidates are music, video, and photos. Things like word processing and spreadsheet files can also be moved but they tend not to be very large and so don't free up much space. The problem with moving the above mentioned files is that iTunes and iPhoto need to know where the files are stored.
    Here's an article explaining how to move the iTunes folder. You can move the iPhoto library using the Finder but there is a slight complication. Start iPhoto, open the Preferences and click on the Advanced tab. The first option is "Copy items to the iPhoto Library". If this option is checked, copy the iPhoto library to your external folder (drag it from the Pictures folder to your external drive) and then delete it from your Picture folder. If this option is not checked, it is a bit more complicated and we'll need to talk a bit.

    Hi, beth.lau.gr.
    Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    I understand you have been experiencing issues with your iPhone restarting and showing you a blue screen.  I wont be able to give you an exact answer as to why this is happening.  However, this is the most relevant troubleshooting article for this issue.  This article also provides options to reach out to us via phone for additional assistance.

  • Airport keeps dropping the wireless connection to my network 2 or 3 times a day.

    Hi,
    Since apple's recent firmware update for my macbook pro, airport keeps dropping the wireless connection to my network 2 or 3 times a day. It then searches for a network but can't find it, but if I select my network manually it connects immediately ???
    Any fixes for this ..... in layman's language please!
    Thanks,
    Steve

    It is not the router. There are a number of factors that are involved. If the router is a G/N router you may have to switch to G-Only (or disable N). You may also have a 5 GHz wireless phone or other routers in the neighborhood interfereing with the signal.
    Try this:
    1. Open network preferences. Take note of what IP address is assigned. Then, click Advanced.
    2. Click on TCP/IP and select Using DHCP with manual address and type the IP address below that.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Set your Router to Wireless-G only (or disable N) and change the channel to 11 or some higher number.
    This should keep it from dropping the wireless connection. It is a bug in the OS. Apple has not fixed it in 3 years.
    You wireless connection will be a tad slower, but you really won't notice.
    Hope that helps.

  • Want stream Netflix to blueray via Airport Express wifi. The blueray finds my wifi but the wireless connection failed - said, Ensure DHCP server is enabled on router and restart router. Don't think I have DHCP server. Suggestions anyone?

    Want to stream Netflix to blueray player via my existing Airport Express wifi. The player finds my wifi but the wireless connection fails - says, " Ensure DHCP server is enabled on router and restart router." I don't think I have a DHCP server. Suggestions anyone?

    I can't speak specifically regarding LG, but the Whole Home feature on Direct TV (record a movie on one DVR and watch it on another TV in another location) just won't work with wireless, and I have a strong fast connection at 300 Mbps. Ethernet works perfectly.
    Few audio/video products will accept "n" wireless at 5 GHz. I suspect that your LG accepts a 2.4 GHz signal, which would top out at 130 Mpbs.
    If you are trying to stream High Definition video, especially at 1080P, my opinion would be that it is unlikely that you will be able to do so reliably using wireless.
    Perhaps another user who has figured out how to do this will post with some input.

  • My iPad3 loses the 3g connection after closing the magnetic cover.

    My iPad 3 loses the 3g connection after closing the magnetic cover.  When the cover is opened, the iPad shows the connection is active.  However, it does not connect but searches for emails etc.  I have to then reboot.

    have you tried disabling then reabling the 3G setting on your iPad after waking the iPad?
    It may be that as it goes to sleep the iPad loses the 3G connection, you may be in a low connection area, and then has problems finding it again, this can happen occassional with WiFi.
    If you go into Settings, then Mobile Data and toggle  the On/Off switch Off, then On again, see if that brings it back without restarting the iPad.

  • Restarting the computer and re-establishing the wireless connection

    I am a wireless newbie. I just got a g router  and established a secure wireless connection. When I restart the computer it seems like I have to reestablish the wireless connection with a wired connection before it will log me in to my wireless connection. Is this what happens? Also, now when I try to "view available wireless conncections" it has my SSID but since it's secured I need a password of some kind to access it. I don't recall signing up for a password so I don't know it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi…I would suggest you to login in the router setup page from your wired computer, through internet explorer by typing in 192.168.1.1 in address bar > skip username and > enter admin as password. Click Wireless Tab > second sub Tab Wireless security, you will find your wireless network key or wireless password that you need to enter on our wireless computer while connecting to your wireless network. Once you get connected to your wireless network it will not ask you to enter your wireless security code or password even if you restart your computer.

    Some folks have discovered that changing their DNS service fixes connection issues.
    The ideal way is to configure your modem/router with DNS service, but often settings in System Preferences/Network on your Mac will override the router settings. Try either or both of these;
    OpenDNS
    208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
    Google Public DNS

    I have tried for hours to set up the wireless connection.  I even did the usb connect method.  I enter the ip manually and it won't detect it....just keeps me looping to the detect ip automatically or use the network connections it detects.   I tried the wps button on the router, printer doesn't find it.  I can detect my network thru the lan settings on the printer, but my other computer just doesn't pick it up.   Have tried everything suggested and that i could come up with, but im out of ideas at this point....any suggestions?

    Ok I've made the mistake of installing a program called Anacron which is supposed to help with the maintenance of OS X. Well I found out after the fact that there is no need to install ANY programs for maintenance as it is all built into the OS now.
