Nokia 5800 windows live messenger

many times i have tried 2 install windows live messenger in my nokia 5800 but it says expired certifiacte . where can i dwnload the messenger for free which works

I have a Nokia 5800, I got it in the first week that it was released in the UK. (Just in case it's a particular version.)
I have got the official Windows Live Messenger application, it installed without any problems whatsoever.
But, I have a really weird problem. This is what happens...
I open the application.
It shows me the sign in screen.
I click the textbox and start to enter my email address... I get about half way through entering it then....
My phone instantly turns off and the screen fades away!
It isn't always the same place where I am editing text, but it's always in the sign in process.
I haven't a clue why this happens, it has never happened in any other application, but happens every time with Messenger?!?!
(Before anyone asks: Yes, my phone was charged.)

Right I'm trying to install windows live for mobile, and according to HERE, my phone should be compatible. I have followed all the steps on the support pages, but can not find "windows Live" in my "download" folder.

Just checked Skype Mobile, too, but it's also not on the list. Yoy may still want to try and download Fring - you may have luck.
Otherwise, the only officially supported Skype client for 5800 is IM+ which is not free:

Windows Live Messenger for 5800 problem

Hi,
I installed the new FW 40.0.005 for Nokia 5800 and then Windows Live Mesenger and Hotmail disappeared.
I went to Ovi Store to download it again (Ovi Store) but now it says "Sorry, this item is not available for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.Browse ...
Any idea?

FWIW, when I searched on store.ovi.com for Windows Live Messenger, there were no results. Maybe it's just been pulled back for an update to be compatible with the new firmware?
It doesn't even show in "My Stuff" download history...maybe it wasn't isntalled through OVI but App Updates instead? Try that...

PETITION FOR WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER FOR NOKIA N97 ...

I and we have been waiting for the Windows Live Messenger to be released for Nokia 5800 and N97 for ages now. I cannot understand why has other Nokia models has it not those models apart from China which have it for Nokia 5800 and N97. What is going on Nokia? Not many of us like using 3rd party messengers If any of you agree with me please do post and hopefully they will wake up.

"tafiti". Is Nokia planning to support a mobile version of this browser on N-series or S60-series phones?

Microsoft has launched a new website, Tafiti.com, that delivers Windows Live Search in a Silverlight interface. Tafiti, swahili for “do research” or “to search”, is more of an expriment, showing the cool applications and UI that are possible with Silverlight, but it is fully functional, with Live Search, including web search, books search, blog search, news search, and image search. It appears that you have to uninstall the Silverlight 1.1 alpha and re-install the 1.0 Release Candidate to make it run (that’s not getting annoying).
You can drag searches over to the areas on the right side, then, share them with others or your other PCs (or Macs). Each search stacks on a card above the last one. Tafiti uses some pretty cool animation, only possible with Silverlight. There’s a really cool carousel that rotates among search types. The news search uses a very cool newspaper style view.
There’s also this cool tree view, that shows items from the search on a rotating tree. It’s good for a screensaver, and can be clicked to run full screen.

Check out Tafiti, it’s pretty cool, and it goes to show you what Silverlight is capable of. Five guys built this, so the possibilities are more than there for small teams to do cool things.

Windows live messenger disconnection on nokia 6022...

Hi up until recently I could log into windows live messenger on my mobile, now when I log in I get a error 201 and a message say that "you were disconnected from windows live messenger - server initiated disconnect" then asks if I want to connect again. I have searched the net for a answer to how I can get back on messenger but no answer anywhere. Can anyone help me?

i believe we are talking about 6220 Classic right?
have you checked "Download"? have you tried to update "Download" as well, if it is not showing there?
the other things is if your 6220 is network locked, you might have some restrictions on the apps availability and usage, try to ask your service provider...
if certificate error is shown, try to check the "Application Manager" and see Settings and make sure "Software installation is set to ALL, and Online certificate is also "OFF"

Problem running Windows Live Messenger on Nokia N9...

Recently I upgraded my FW to 21.0.016 and since than I can't run Windows Live Messenger "for security reasons".
Does anyone has an idea how to solve this?

N96 & Windows Live Messenger Certificate Error ( P...

Hi all....
An annoying problem getting windows live messenger to work on my N96 has come back.
I recently had the version off Planet 3 working fine but had to format mass memory due to problems with my music folders, anyways I went to download and install it again today and the god damn certificate error is back.
I can download the version from Nokia Download but that costs £1-50 a month and this is available from 3 or nothing, it's part of the service which I pay my line rental for.
Really sick of 3, only been with them since October and its been a nightmare all the way and this POS N96 has been nothing but hassle too.
Any ideas?

Nah it's not the certificate expired error.
Its ok though, I found a way around it. Someone else downloaded the N95s JAD and JAR files for me. Copied them over to the phone and they work fine.

Integrated Tools for Window live messenger

I have an application server (written in JMS) which uses to send/receive messages from mobile/desktop client. My intention is to send messages (text format) into window live messenger. I need any help on how do i integrated from application server into window live messenger. Thanks you so much for your help.

Well it depends on how many e-mails you have in your inbox and how fast your data connection is.
Generally mine synchronised within 5 minutes, but then I had about 10 e-mails in the inbox and I had full HSDPA coverage

Uploading photo to Windows Live Messenger 7.0.0

I have downloaded the new release of Windows Live Messenger but it will not allow me to upload a photo (jpeg) to use as my portrait - it says invalid file. It won't even allow me to pick one of the templated versions that are supplied. Does anyone know why?

I have received reply from Nokia regarding this issue. Referring to my previous post, I was advised to try the signing into Windows Live Messenger (WLM) through different connections, but not successful. I have already informed them the outcome. The second correspondence informs me that if I subscribe the WLM service for 30 days, then I need to pay a subscription fee to continue using. (The probability of the collection of subscription fee is made known to me during the installation of WLM on my mobile, however, there is no words of how much, how is the collectiong method is going to be from Microsoft)
Further research through Nokia website (http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/windows-live/faq) and links to Windows Live Mobile website (http://windowsliveformobile.com/en-us/popup4.html) shows that the subscription fee is no longer required, even if required, there will be an SMS to inform the user for continue use of WLM service. However, that is not the case for me. I have replied to Nokia Care informing them of the misleading and contradicting information they provided and got my third reply. It reiterates that there will be no subscription fees and if there will be any, there will be SMS notice. Nokia Care also asks me to seek clarification of this matter to Microsoft instead!
I was referred by Microsoft to seek clarification with Nokia after contacting them initially and now Nokia did the same. I seems to be sandwiched without any solution to my problem. Does anyone experience the same? What could be the problem? Any solutions? Please help, thanks!

Windows Live Messenger & Ovi

Hello. Where can I find the Windows Live Messenger app for Nokia N78? According to http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/windows-live/compatibility-downlo... my devise is compatible. But the instructions wont help because "Download!" on my N78 (30.011) shows (refresh) only the Ovi store app, which Ovi store btw says my phone is Not compatible with WLMessenger... Also Ovi Store app on N78 wont work correcly, after some pages view it freezes. So confused

Oke, we carry on. Is your phone branded to a Service Provider? If it is and your SP does not support LM then it's not included in the firmware and you can't download it from OVI store. Did you search the internet? I found it.
