NOKIA 5800XM - Calls not transferred to headset

Hi, I am Austin, I purchased a nokia 5800xm 2 months back and it worked flawlessly. I updated the firmware to 30v and it was even better, the headset that was bundled with the handset also worked fine, Butsince past week even though all the function keys on the remote and earphones work properly on the headset [radio/music player] when i get a call i cant hear it on the earphones but instead on the handset earpiece. I did a soft reset a few days back but after i installed a few apps the problem has resurfaced!!!
I have only installed opera 5 beta, myphone 2.2, pictureflow and a few simple themes nothing else...
Please help me!!! Im really confused if i should take it to the service centre or there is something i must enable???

Easiest way to get a demo going is to do this:
1) Create a 'skill' in the RmCm subsystem menu in appadmin, call it Test
2) Create a Contact Service Queeu in the RmRm subsystem menu, and call is TestCSQ
3) On the CSQ properties, configure it for skills-based routing and add the 'Test' skill on the second page.
4) On your application, configure the 'icd.aef' script. This is a simple ACD type demo. Set the CSQ property of the application to "TestCSQ" (this must match your CSQ name identically)
5) Assign the Test skill to your agent in the RmCm/resources menu
At this point you should be able to dial your trigger and hear some prompts. If you log in as your agent, they shoudl received the call.
Note that to transfer the call to the agent, the CSS of the CTI Ports (i.e. the Call Control Group) must have the agent DN partition in it.
Also if you have only standard, you will need to create a Resource Group instead of a skill, and set that on the agent and the CSQ.

    I have a nokia Lumia 1520 and it won't connect to the two bluetooth headsets I have. They are not even showing up to connect to.

    The devices you are trying to connect to the phone have to be in the bluetooth pairing mode before the phone will see them in bluetooth.
    Read up on how to put the headsets in pairing mode.  Should be in the literature that came with them.

  • Nokia - E5 CALL NOT ALLOWED.

    I recently bought an E5 on ebay and put my 3G sim in and it worked fine for a week but now I'm unable to call or text or recieve anything but internet network.
    The following have been tried and DID NOT work:
    *Factory reset
    * Changing network settings from DUAL MODE to UMTS
    * Turning call barring ON/OFF
    * Creating an APN for 3
    This is really winding me up and any advice would be very much appreciated!
    I contacted 3 and they told me to do the above. Which was evidently uselss..

    Looks like a line problem... have you checked with the SIM provider. Is the line active and OK?

    After the update the phone was working fine for almost a week, the problem appeared when the battery went out and the phone subsequently  turned off, when I plugged it to charge,I have got only the Nokia Logo white screen and the phone did not boot to the homescreen! After several trials of removing the battery which did not work, I tried removing the Memory Card which worked out but my problem now is that the Home screen shortcuts are not working as follows:
    Dialler: Not working
    Contacts: Not working
    Calendar: Not working
    Shortcuts: Not working, not appearing
    Green button: Not working (does not get the dialler)
    The tooltip that shows when I keep pressing on each of the above items does not read what it is (it seems it is missing the name and shortcut of the program running it). Only the Time and date, alerts links are working.
    Also another note is that the dialler and contacts are working only whenI go to the Menu by clicking the green button or selecting the contacts.
    Conclusion: it seems to me that the problem is only in the Home screen, also another note is that after the software update I am noticing that the battery is going out faster than before with the normal use of the phone, nothing intensive e.g. WiFi or bluetooth or GPS.
    What I have done trying to resolve this issue unsuccessfully:
    1- Restore Factory settings.
    2- Format the Memory Card
    I hope there is a solution for this! Also I would appreciate to know if there is a software that allows to re-install older versions of firmwares.

    do a hard reset for the phone the memory card
    (((dont forget to backup all your things on the computer)))
    i had the same problem and fixed it by a hard reset for the phone
    and then a soft reset
    and a hard reset for the memory card((using my computer))
    and then a soft reset in the phone
    this solved the problem for me

    Hi..
    I installed the new maps from my mobile's software updater but it is not functioning fluently
    When I open maps,it shows me the menu but when I go to the map, the map starts loading itself after going online with my gprs connection. I left it for long time but still it did not load the map.It downloaded as high as 10MB data but still did not load the map.
    Also offline searching is not working in my map.
    Please help

    Maps Loader is some software that runs from your PC.
    You connect your phone to the PC through the USB connector and then run Maps Loader. Click on the + sign next to any of the main continents and it will show the country maps that are available for that region.  You then select the ones that you require and download them. which puts them on your phone via the USB lead.
    The same with voices, which is a separate TAB along the top. You can select what language you want and Male or Female voice.

    When I call my PSTN line, after the PSTN answer delay, I just hear dialtone. I have enabled debug and I do see an invite being sent to my SIP trunk.

    It is normal to get a dialtone when the PSTN-to-VoIP gateway answers the phone unless you have a dial plan setup to automatically dial a number.  A dial plan like (S0<:1234567890>) would set the interdigit timeout to 0 and dial 1234567890 on the configuration you have setup on the PSTN Line Tab.

    Why Nokia 5800xm is not getting any updates, i think its left out , We spent Rs 20000(arnd) for this phone and we are no where in the competition , no processor tweaks, no os tweaks by means of software updates and most importantly the basic software updates like Flash Lite 4 for S60 5th edition phones as Nokia 5800 supports it . Any replies positive /negative will be appreciated. Just ma view , thnx a lot NOKIA and BETA LABS , you people are doing a great job !!

    Have you tried to repair "Nokia connectivity cable driver" (right click) under Uninstall or change a program?
    You also should use Ovi suite.

  • Nokia 5800XM Messages Disappeared. Not Deleteable.

    I have a 2 month old Nokia 5800XM v20.
    It's been working fine except for the occassional incoming call hang bug, etc.
    I had about 600 messages in my inbox. They were saved on phone memory. One day, when i tried to access the inbox, it refused to let me, and kept returning to the main messaging screen. So i restarted the phone. Now Messaging works fine, but All the messages appear to have disappeared. Inbox,Sent,Drafts, everything. Which is fine, they are unimportant.
    The thing is they were being saved to Phone Memory. And even though they appear to have gone, when i check Phone memory status, it still says 46mb in messaging in Phone Memory. But There are no messages to delete, and i don't want to to a hard reset. I Shifted the SMS memory to memory card now, but i need to free up that space because i have only 15mb of free space on my phone.Is there any way to manually access phone memory and delete those messages ?
    Any help would be suggestions would be appreciated.

    As suggested, do a soft reset (*#7370#). This will not affect your messages in the memory card since the reset only wipes the phone's memory. When the phone starts up again, though, it won't see your messages in the memory card any more. You'll have to tell it again to use the memory card for message storage, at which point you'll find your messages again. But before doing that, don't forget to increase the number of saved messages in your sent items to more than 20. If you fail to do that then all but the last 20 will be deleted.
    The above post is slightly misleading. It is not possible to store the first 'x' number of messages in the phone's memory and the rest on the memory card. They're either all on the memory card or all in the phone's memory.

  • AutoAttendant not transferring calls in CUE 8.6 to CME 9.1

    **Issue is calls are not transferring once extension or directory is pressed on the phone.
    I upgraded our 2811 CME 7.1/CUE 7.0 router to 2911 15.2 CME 9.1/CUE8.6.  It has CME and V/k9 license enabled.  I uploaded the configuration used on the 2811 to the 2911.  I added the ip addresses in the ip trusted list.  Calls come in and out if I point the translation list to the phone and not to the auto attendant pilot number.  Incase if it was toll fraud issue I disabled it but still a no go.
    Everything worked fine on the 2811.  I can't understand why it would not work on the 2911 15.2.  Has anyone had any issues when upgrading from 12.4 to 15.x with auto attendant not transferring calls?

    Ok I'm starting to think its a dtmf issue. I checked to see if I call from internal to the AA and dial an extension if it works but the same issue.  I ran the debug voip ccapi inout and I see consume mask is not set.  What would that indicate?  Could that be the problem?

  • Call on PRI Line are not transfered to IP-AA on CCM

    Greetings,
    Having an issue with H.323 Voice gateway. Incoming calls are not transferred to Auto-Attendant. This happens randomly but I have noticed that the frequency is higher when there are no incoming call no PRI lines.
    (Check the attachments for debugs)
    The calls seems to be answered by gateway but ISDN-Connect message is never displayed. I tried to call from my IP Phone to but no ISDN-Connect message for this call, however, the call is landed on gateway. Running CCM 4.2(3), IPCC Express 4.0(4),IOS version 12.4(8) Advance IP Services, tried IOS 12.4(5a) Advance Enterprise Services as well but in vain.
    Another questions is that: we can run both MGCP and H.323 on voice gateway but how will it register with CallManager. I guess we can use some loopback technique for this purpose. Need suggestions/comments!!!
    Please find the attachments of Q921 and Q931 debugs. Took debugs for 2-scenarios
    1- Called from and outside number to PRI line
    2- Called from IP-phone to PRI line

  • Nokia 5800XM - Live Mail Not Working in Nokia Mess...

    It has been a long time since I have been using the Nokia Messaging Email to receive emails from my different email accounts includinga couple of Windows Live Mail accounts to my Nokia 5800XM and it was working like a charm till a couple of weeks age.
    Since last couple of weeks I am not receiving email from my Windows Live Mail accounts, other account POP/IMAP are working fine but Windows Live Mail account are not working at all, none of them. I haven't changed any password or something, I don't know what is wrong but I am unable to receive email from WLM, even if I open mail app and manually do a Send/ Receive, it doesn't update my emails from my WLM accounts. I have even tried resetting the data from Nokia Messaging Email settings but for no avail.
    Can someone help or update me in this regard, what's going on, is it just me or . ...

    Although Internet works, Nokia Mail uses another configuration account. Therefore, please, double-check Nokia » Menu » Configuration » Active. Which network operator do you use, in which country?

    my handset was working properly before i did factory reset. After i did factory rest to cancel the forgotten settings my phone fails to make calls by a message call not allowed. When some one calls me my phone does not ring even though it seems am online. What could be the problem with my nokia E72?

    if your phone was working fine, why did you do a reset? how did you do the reset? you might have to get your carrier to send you new phone settings to save before making calls and sending messages.

    When I sync my Nokia 5800 using Isync, diary entries from my phone are moved onto my Mac, but entries made on my Mac are not transferred to my phone. This leaves my phone calendar without any entries. Am I doing something wrong here, or is this a bug? Does anyone know how to transfer this data back into my phone?     I'm not sure what else to suggest. As the Nokia 5800 is not natively supported by iSync you must be using an iSync Plugin, so I'd advise contacting the author of the plugin - it may be buggy and need fixing.
