Nokia 6020 'Check Multimedia Settings' problem!!
Hello All,
I am not able to use my phone Nokia 6020 and getting the message 'check multimedia settings' at startup.After pressing ok it gives message sending failed. Tried reseting many times but still the same.Basically Iam not able to get in the phone. could someone please help me in solving this .thanks in advance.

I am not able to use my phone Nokia 7260 and getting the message 'check multimedia settings' at startup.After pressing ok it gives message sending failed. Tried reseting many times but still the same.Basically I am not able to get in the phone. thank you for the best solution you may offer..Go to Nokia Site for configuration settings MMS, Email,GPRS etc. for proper configuration of your phone. Or ask your provider to download it to your phone!

6020/70: "check multimedia settings" & "Multimedia...
My Nokia 6070 mobile phone is stuck. It's showing a message "check multimedia settings" followed by "OK". When I click on "OK", it shows a message "Multimedia message sending failed". Then it is coming back to "check multimedia settings". It's gone to an infinite loop. Due to this I am not able to do anything in my mobile.
Note that I cannot access the MENU or any other function so I am unable to reset the phone to factory default settings.
Please HELP!@radical24: Message center number? That's for SMS.
@khopdi: like you've been advised, after switching off and on the phone again, check if you have any remaining MMS message in your Message Outbox? Try to delete it. -
have nokia 6070.when i start my phone nokia 6070.the massage display on screen "check multimedia settings" i click on OK then another message apear on screen.

Go through the settings and double check everything with the manual or documentation from your provider.

Some of my textmessages\multimedia messages has been moved to the 'Outbox' and displayed as: postponed.
And I cant get any choices with them.. cant delete then etc...

Nokia 6020 phone cannot MMS anymore
Hi Im in the United Arab Emirates. I recently came back from a holiday overseas, inserted my SIM card again, and then I just could not MMS or email anymore. Ive contacted the service provider, and they sent me the settings again and the phone said "settings discarded only 20 sets allowed". Then I figured out I could delete old settings, so I did. Now everytime I want to MMS the phone says "check Multimedia settings". When I try to save the new MMS settings I smsed 1010 for, the screen says "verification failed settings will be discarded..." Please help me, ive phoned my service provider on a number of occasions but I just cannot get the settings.

The most likely reason of the malfunction was some kind of liquid inside the handset. My little daughter could just help this
So I've removed the back cover and the battery, then took a small amount of alcohol and poured it into the handset near the socket pins. And left it to evaporate freely. Then I've reinstalled the battery and the back cover. That was all - the phone is OK again! -
Invalid multimedia access point. Check multimedia ...
I keep getting the error message "Invalid multimedia access point. Check multimedia settings." from time to time ever since I setup my 3G.
Any thought?Change it to the correct one from: Messaging | Options | Settings | Multimedia message | Access point in use (the correct access point from your network probably has "MMS" in the name).
If the correct access point settings are not on your phone, you can try: menu | Tools | Utilities | Sett.wizard -
Hi.
I have a question regarding the Nokia 6020. I'm going to New York next week and last time I went I couldn't get any reception for my phone. I checked with my operator here(Sweden) and they have assured me that it will work. So what is the problem?
It should work as it is triple band. Is there a configuration that I need to change manually?

i bought a iphone 3gs 4 months ago had a problem with display service centre replaced me with the phone when i checked the settings of the phone in cellular usage under call time the lifetime usage was 3 days and 18 hours.what sholud be done ?

I was trying to download a movie and then it said there was a problem connecting to the network , check your settings and try again (5) . I tried all the various suggestions already in the discussions including restore, restart, unplugging everything etc - still doesnt work. Any other new ideas? I bought my apple tv just a few days ago and am really annoyed its already run into problems
Reboot router, make sure it's up to date. If on wifi try ethernet. Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settings - general - network).

my nokia 6020 has been indicating the headphone/handsfree icon.
this means a call comes in i cannot hear the caller using the headset.
I have tried restoring settings, remove battery, change profile but no change.
interesting thing is I HAVE NEVER USED THE HANDSFREE KIT on this phone.Try plugging the headset into the phone then take it out, might do something to the connector.
