Nokia 603 mail not synchronising through wi-fi

I have a 7month old Nokia 603, which I've updated to Belle FP2. While it had Belle and then the Belle FP1 update, the Nokia mail didn't have any problem synchronising my emails through wifi connection. But currently in Belle FP2, mail refresh works only on mobile data, and doesn't update when connected to wifi. I use manual mail update, so that it checks for mail, when I refresh the mailbox. But it doesn't refresh anymore through wifi. Please do advice regarding the solution for this problem.

Nokia Ovi Mail Not Working In C3-00

I had purchased Nokia C3 last month and updated it to the latest version and using it very well

rahul, as per what you have explained it seems a bit unusual issue. You have taken the best recovery measurements step by step. I suggest you take the device to the care Centre as it sems to be a issue with the mail client only.

Mail not coming through

netflix tried 3 times to send me mail so I could change my password but I could not get the email. I gave them my yahoo email address and the mail came right through . Any idea why I could not receive email they told me to check my junk mail box but I cant find one? Thanks for any help

By default any mail that Thunderbird thinks is junk gets a junk icon placed beside it and it goes into your Inbox. You can set up a Junk folder but since you seem to know nothing about Junk I doubt that you have setup junk controls and modified the default
The more likely possibility is your providers spam filter is catching the messages and they are going into the Spam folder on your providers server.
You need to log into your account at your providers web mail page and check the spam folder there.

Outlook e-mail not synchronising all contacts

It's possible to synchronise contacts stored in outlook the free online mail service. This service allows you to link your contacts with some social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc.
I have synchronised my Iphone with my contactlist stored in outlook but not all contacts are syncronised. All contacts linked with other socialnetworks are synchronised but most of those who are not linked to other services are not syncronised. When I edit one that is not syncronised and wait a while Iphone synchronises that contact. Still those who I haven't edited are not. Please can someone help me out with this problem or fix this issue.

Nokia 5800 - does not synchronise calendar and con...

I have my Nokia 5800 Exp Music connected by USB CABLE to PC Suite 7.0.9.2 (that is the version recommened on the Nokia site for 5800). The laptop is on 32 bit Vista Enterprise.
PC Suite does not sychronise MS Outlook Calendar and Contacts - the following WARNING message is displayed
PC Sync information.
PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronisation.
Possible Solution
Please check your Synchronisation settings and ensure your phone is in the Idle state, then restart the Synchronisation.

Mail not synchronising

I am viewing my email through Apples Mail client and messages I makr as read or I delete from the client do not delete from my email provider.
I am using Outlook.com, and the mail between Apple's client and Outlook.com is not matching.

NOKIA E-MAIL NOT WORKING ON NOKIA ASHA 303

So, I had my Nokia Asha 303 working perfectly with no bugs, no lag and good internet speed until I got this message asking me if I wanted to update my cellphone software to the v14.53. I accepted and left my phone on, with full battery, on a stable wifi connection without even touching it while the firmware was updating.
So far, so good. After it installed, all features of my phone kept working but the E-mail tool that came with the phone. The advantage of this tool for me is that I could just open a picture menu in the phone and click on "send" and the "e-mail" option would be just there. After I did this firmware update, not only my picture´s menu stopped showing the "e-mail" option on the "send" section, but I couldn´t even open the E-mail tool anymore. I would click to open it, and it just wouldn´t respond. Not even a error message.
I tried solving the problem by doing a hard format of the cellphone... making it go back to it´s factory´s configurations. It didn´t work.
I bough a data-transfer USB cable and tried to solve the problem with the Nokia Suite... all I could do was update the firmware to a newer version v14.60. But even that didn´t work. I tried to reinstall it... still... nothing.
Now... I have the feeling that, for some reason, the first firmware update I did deleted or corrupted the E-mail tool, making it impossible to restore it´s feature. Is there any way I could download the feature? Is there any other way to fix it?
I tried contacting Nokia´s Support by e-mail and phone but they said I´d have to send my phone by mail in order to be fixed and I just know that it will take a huge time till it gets solved...

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.
If a hard reset and reinstallation of the software have not resolved the issue, please visit a local Care centre where this can be fixed for you.
The Care centre will most likely be able to do this in the shop itself and so you won't have to send the phone for repair. If this is necessary after all they will able be able to give you an estimate of how long it will take to repair the phone and send it back to you.

E72 yahoo pop mail not synchronising new mails

hi guyz
thanx for yo help i managed to set up my e72 yahoo pop mail. However, it only loaded mails the time i set the pop, after that it never synchronised any new mail. Sending mails and replying is working perfect except loading new mails. Last time i deleted the setup and restarted, but the problem still exists. All settings in the inbox seem to be fine but still new mails wont load!

Have you checked if there is an update for your Email client on the phone? You can check Nokia Suite if there is an available update for your device. If there is none, you can reinstall the software. If you continue to experience the same issue, you can do reformat the device. Make sure that you have a backup file before doing the reset as it will delete all the data on the phone. Mail not getting through to my .mac address

Everyone trying to send mail to my .mac address ([email protected]) is getting mail bounced back with this message:
"You do not have permission to send to this recipient."
What the heck is this all about? Sometimes mail gets through, but not often. Everyone is getting the same message.
How can I fix this? Help, please.

This topic did appear to be about sending, but yet the advice about Port number change would only relate to sending problems. If you are having a problem sending, while using the smtp.mac.com as the Outgoing Server, the change to Port 587 may help. This is covered in both Mail Help, and at the document at the link below:

Mail not connecting through proxy

I transferred all information from my previous iBook (MacOS X 10.3.9) to my new MacBook (10.4.9) over the firewire link during installation. All settings have been accurately copied.
Mail works at home, using a cable modem and DHCP. It works with the external modem. However, it will not connect at the office using internal Ethernet through a proxy on our network, while the old mail with the same settings worked fine. Now, the (new) Mail Connection Doctor says: "Mail was unable to connect to the internet, etc. Nothing I do there will make it work. Two observations:
1. Safari works fine, all the time.
2. Mail does connect to the internet: when I collect my new messages with the external modem (out of necesity) and then change back to my office configuration, Mail will not connect to my mail servers as described, but it will effortlessly collect all the images embedded in HTML messages I have already downloaded.
Help will be gratefully appreciated...

Yes, it can be stored in Cookies.
Try making a new User & see if it works or asks for them.

Yahoo Mail not working through 3G

Hi, For some strange reason my Yahoo account is no longer able to send via 3G.. Works fine via wifi. But if wifi is off, or i'm not around a wifi spot, it just sits on trying to send before eventually spitting back a message saying unable to send..
Works absolutely fine with my other accounts and my exchange account JUST YAHOO it is unable to send.. BUT works fine via wifi ???
Anyone else having the same issues as me?

Did not work. Besides it will not allow me to turn off Yahoo SMTP.
I've already tried the deleting of the account..
But as i said the weird thing is it works FINE via wifi, just not through 3G
I guess next step is to wipe the phone. BUT really what i would like to hear from someone is that Yahoo mail is actually working for them via 3G, i want to know if i'm alone in this or if its a problem since the new 3.0.1 update?
If thats the case, then no point wiping down my phone putting it out of actiion for two hrs and then having to restore everything.

Nokia 206 mail not even opening

Having this problem with my Nokia 206 dual sim, that the mail button within messaging doesn't do anything, nothing opens when I press it
Obviously this must be the email application of the phone. But it doesn't do anything. Have reset defaults, have now updated to latest software even, no change it still doesn't open??

We have a lot of reports of this recently. Unfortuantely, we do not know the cause or a good solution, yet. My advice is to go for a local, but offical Nokia Care Centre. they do a ‘refurbish’ of the whole software. Because these centre are very slow, if possible in your legislation, return your device to your dealer, request a refund, and go for the next mobile device.

ICloud e-mail not coming through (silent filtering)

I placed an ad on Craigslist and the responses don't seem to be coming through. I've read that iCloud has a silent filtering 'feature' that blocks things that it thinks are spam before they're even delivered. Is there any way to disable this? I'd like to get my e-mail.

If the email is being filtered at Apple's end there's nothing you can do about it. You'll need to change your ad and get a temporary Gmail address for responses, or some similar solution.

Aol mail not going through

Every time I go to mail it says incorrect user name or password. I deleted account and added back and still no luck. My I- phone does the same thing, but on my MacBook it works fine. Is it something with the aol server that aol has to fix?

I have used AOL mail on my ipad since the day I bought it. I had no problems whatsoever setting it up.
Do you have the outgoing mail server as smtp.aol.com? Check your settings and make sure that it is set this way.

Yahoo mail not coming through

I upgraded my first-gen iPhone to 2.0, and now the phone won't retrieve Yahoo mail. Oddly, the phone is only showing emails dating back to 6/15. It attempts to connect to the mail server, but never downloads new mail. I've tried powering off the phone, but that didn't work.
Has anyone else experienced this type of problem?

My iPhone has been "stuck in stupid" several times a day in regards to downloading email since the new software. I've had this happen before...but never several times a day, every day. Anyhow, try turning off the phone for a second and see if that gives your phone what it needs to go fetch those emails.
I'm still having problems with my phone in lots of areas. I wish I'd never downloaded the new iTunes and new iPhone software. Everything was great before that......
