Nokia 6085 video camera

Hi, If I upgrade the memory on my 6085, will I be able to make the video camera last longer than a few seconds? If so, how would I do this or will it happen automatically? Thanks

There is an option in the settings to use the memory card to save images and video. With this selected you can go into Gallery - Video - Options - Settings - Video Clip Length and set it to maximum.

Nokia C6 video camera problem

I bought a Nokia C6 recently and I'm facing some problem with video clips I took. The image suddenly freeze and the audio keeps running. I have updated the firmware to the latest and also reset my phone by unplugging battery, but Its still the same. And the worst of it, it becoming more frequent day by day. Now its not just freeze in the middle of the video clip, after I click stop recording it keep on shooting 5 to 10 sec with just blank image.
Does any one else facing same problem? Is there any fix for this?
Can any 1 help me?

Hi,
I was able to fix this for my phone.
As I said in my previous post, the problem was in writing to memory card. By default, the File System of my memory card was ‘FAT’. For ‘FAT’ file system, the cluster size is very big 32KB. Probably because the phone is trying to allocate a lot of memory in real time, while recording it freezes.
The solution for me was to back up my information on computer and format the Memory card in ‘FAT 32’ file system. ‘FAT 32’ uses smaller clusters and memory allocation is easier.
I do not know whether this is the right solution, but it is working.

Transfer Videos to Nokia 6085

I tried everything from converting AVI., WMV, to 3PG and MP4 and PC Suite but nothing works. All I get is audio but no video, can someone help me get videos on my Nokia 6085?

I have the same problem. Haven't seen any answers posted, although at the time I viewed your post, 372 others had viewed it as well, so I suspect this is a common problem. I've written Nokia, and if they can provide a solution, I will post it here.

I tried this a few times and it did not work for me. I also tried soft and hard rest as well without any luck. Is there any other way to fix this problem?? I tried updating the fireware as well, and nothing worked for me.

Video Camera Doesn't Auto-Focus Nokia X2

My phones camera doesn't focus while in video camera mode... whereas when i bought this phone new, that time it was doing a proper job... Sometimes even when my camera is in photo mode it doesn't focus properly.... In video mode it doesn't do totally... i think it is the camera's lenses fault as the lenses must focus automatically it is a hardware defect i dought.....

Hi, SankarNamah. Does this issue happen regardless if the led flash is turned on or not? Are there any changes if you change the camera settings of the phone? May we know where are you located? Have you already read the post made by @armagon? If not yet, here it is:

6085 video issue -- Video not in sync with sound

I have a Nokia 6085. Not the best phone, I know, but it's cheap. Anyway, I can convert video files to compatible MP4 or 3GP just fine. My phone will play them just fine, up to a point. After about a minute, the video starts lagging behind the sound more and more. I've done some research on this forum, but not come up with a single straight answer. I cannot use SmartMovie or other players, as the Nokia 6085 runs in the J2ME environment. I've tried to update my phone, but Nokia's software says there are no updates for my phone. I've used files I've converted myself using various bitrates, codecs, etc. I've found in various places on this forum. I've used videos converted by others that apparently work on their devices. No difference. Any idea on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

All right. After much experimentation with SUPER and some researching through Google, I managed to fix my issue. Everyone else who had this issue merely said, "Issue fixed." I'll post my results in case anyone else has this issue:
Container: 3gp (Nokia/NEC/Siemens)

Output Audio Codec: AAC LC
Video Size: 176x144
Frame/Sec: 12
Video Bitrate: 144 kbps

Nokia 6085 its support AVRCP

Hi.
I do not obtain to control the volume of a Bluetooth Speaker through Nokia 6085.
The control functions in the Midia Player. However it does not function in the Music Player.
The 6085 do not support support AVRCP (Audio/video Remote Control Profile).
Or it would be a problem in firmware of the Music Player.
The Bluetooth Speaker functioned correctly with a Nokia and 50.

New Nokia 6085 problem, is it faulty

Hi, i've just bought a Nokia 6085, i would like to change the colour of the background and fonts as i don't like wallpapers or themes, these are all possible with the phone i bought my dad, the Nokia 6103, can this be done with the 6085.
I thought the 6085 was a better fone but the pictures it takes are awful compared to the 6103 and most of the cheapest phones available, even with the maximum resolution set etc.
Is this because of a fawlty camera? as i read a review of the 6085 on the net which shows the pictures it took in the test which all seem ten times better then mine even thought they said the camera wasn't very good.
It seems like my pictures are set at a very low resolution even thought i've set it at 640 by 480 and high quailty etc.
Do you think it has a faulty camera or a poor lens, pictures bluetoothed to my phone are far better, any help or advice would be much appreciated

Nokia n80 video = bad

Nokia n80 video is perfect in "light conditions" but its dull conditiosn its just really really really terrible with llots of little flashing dots everywhere.
anybody else have this problem? and will it be resolved?

Have you checked you have the right video settings for the environment you are in? N80 camera is probably more advanced than other Nokia camera phones you have used and making sure you are recording in the right conditions is important.

Nokia 6085 dead battery? Does not charge! HELP!!!

After the battery of a Nokia 6085 mobile phone was fully used, the phone turned off (display off; black). Now, the battery does not seem to recharge when connected to the mains.
How to fix it? Any help most appreciated.

Update for the records (in case it may be helpful to someone):
Today, the same thing happened (the battery was exausted and the phone did not turn on after connecting to the mains via the charger). Probably the battery had been completely exhausted for a week or so.
I did as above, but this time I did not hear any sound when connecting the charger. Pressing the big metallic button did not work.
So, I also pressed the four smaller buttons-keys (located arround the big metallic one), pressing them one after the other in a row (first the top right blue selection key, then the bottom right red end key, then the bottom left green call key, and finally the top left blue selection key). And a few seconds later the phone came to life turning on its screen! Eventually it made a noise and charged OK.
I know, I know all this is because the batery gets completely exhausted, but I usually do not use any mobile phone at all, so this is in a table drawer and sometimes I forget to recharge it. I may receive one or two calls on this phone each month or so and that is the only reason that I keep it.
As said, this is just for the records, in case it may be helpful to someone.

I am wondering if I'm the only one with this problem, but I think my the video camera of my Nokia Lumia 800 is almost completely useless, because it doesn't focus in lower (not low, lower) light conditions.
I can only get focus in direct daylight, but as soon as you move into the shade or indoor, the camera is useless. I will not focus!
When I switch the camera app on and press the video icon, the camera will start focussing. It moves from blurry to sharp, but always ends up with blurry as the "focus". It will also not refocus when I start filming and as a result I end up with useless video.

I've used the video camera a lot on my old iPhone, especially to capture moments of our kids, but with the Lumia it's simply impossible now, because most of these moments are indoor.
In the settings there's an option to turn auto focus on or off, but that doesn't seem to fix/break anything.
Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? I would like to find a solution!

The processor speed shouldn't matter that much for allowing video calls while doing Skype calls. It might have to do with the amount of RAM in the device, but even that is doubtable.

I have a Canon digital video camera (bought in 2004). I have been using it to transfer movies onto my other Toshiba laptop, but there is no place to plug in on my new laptop. I did use a iEEE1394 but it doesn't work on this one.

What notebook model you have it exactly? Some notebooks dont have firewire port but if your camera has USB port can use this port. As far as I know all notebooks have USB port

You should try to reinstall Service Station, I think this should work. Just download the newest version of Toshiba service station on official Toshiba website and install it:

But dont forget to remove the old version first before you install the newest one. ;)

After an upgrade to Mavericks - my Video Camera is no longer recognized by the system (JVC Everio HD video camera)

I just upgraded to Mavericks (up from Mountain Lion) last week. Today, I tried to upload movies to my MacBook Pro, and it no longer 'sees' the camera when plugged into the USB port. I have tired iMovie, iPhoto, and also direct access, via the hard drive. Nothing works. I have even restarted the computer with the camera plugged in and it is still not being recognized, and I cannot get the movies 'out' of the camera. I have never had a problem before , In fact I loaded movies last week, just by pluggin it into the USB.
Are there ANY suggestions on how or what to do for it to start to pick up on the fact that my video camera is indeed plugged in and has movies that can be imported?
