Nokia 6086 caller groups issue

I'm trying to create a caller group that has a different ringtone from the default. I created one today with a different ring, saved it, but when someone from that group called, it used the default ring tone. Is there a way to fix that? Also, I've been having some volume issues with my alarm. When the alarm goes off, the phone vibrates louder than the alarm. How can I increase the alarm's volume? I already have the standard volume on maximum but that didn't work.

Well, most likely a soft reset which of course includes wiping the phone memory will most likely fix it, but if the sync you did with Ovi contacts is the issue, there is of course a chance of that happening again when syncing back. You could try of course and maybe even back up your contacts with pc suites content copier instead, but it won't solve the initial issue. It could however just be that something went all wrong just this time.
But, If you are up to it I would have tried that since it obviusly is something wierd going on here.
Be sure you back up what's needed. - Or you might have everything you need already backed up..?

Caller groups on iphone

My Nokia had Caller Groups that were designated in the contacts for different ring tones for different groups. It also had a setting to ONLY ring if someone was in the call group.
Nokia had a "silent" mode that only rang for people on the contact list who were in a particular call group. I'd settle for just allowing ringing for the entire contact list, but not ringing if not on the contact list.
Is there any apps that is similar to this feature?

Nokia 6021 Bug Caller groups

Hi there! I had organized some of my contacts in caller groups, but there seems to be a bug in the software. I assigned a special ringtone to that group, but when one of the members called, my phone did not ring at all. Besides, now, whenever I try to edit one of the caller groups (Contacts->Caller Groups->Select) the display fades away, the phone powers down and restarts automatically ?? But I can never enter the group itself ??
I did a software update recently, so I think it's a bug in the latest release.
Any help or advise is highly appreceated

Nokia 6086 Aplication Access permissions

I just received my Nokia 6086 with the T-Mobile Hotspot @ Home service. Everything works fine except the only application that is set to access the internet is the dreaded T-Zones. I downloaded both Gmail and Opera Mini and installed the applications fine. The problem is whenever I try to run one of these applications I get the following errors:

This application cannot be used until you grant it permission to send and receive data over the network.[/code]
Before I received this phone I was using the Motorola Pebl which does not have half the features of the Nokia Phone but I can use all of my applications on. I first called T-Mobile and spoke with their Tier 2 support. They informed me that I would need to contact Nokia for assistance in setting up the applications and proceeded to transfer me. I spoke with Nokia and they informed me that basically it was a request by T-Mobile to only allow T-Zones on this phone model. So I called T-mobile back and explained that I was frustrated with this problem. I explained to them that I have been a customer since 2001 and that if the problem could not be fixed I would demand my money back for the Nokia 6086 and use my old Motorola phone instead. They ended up sending me the code to unlock my Nokia 6086 but going through the process did not fix my problem. My question is how can I enable application access for my programs? I tried looking in the options but the option for App. Access is greyed out on the menu. I also researched the problem before contacting T-Mobile/Nokia and found out there is a workaround. Basically what needs to be done is to flash the phone's memory and install Nokia's software instead of T-Mobile. Even the T-Mobile rep told me that Nokia could do it but I would not be able to access T-Zones through the menu but only by using the web address. I asked the Nokia rep and he said he did not know anything about this methoud. Does anyone know of a way to fix this.

I have a similar problem related to a Java application
provided by Audible.com On my Nokia 6086 I downloaded the 0.2.45 version of the low-resolution
S40 AudibleAir Java application. In order to get the application to access stored content, I need to change the permissions under the "Applications
Access" menu under the Options menu for the application. However as others have observed, the "Application Access" menu is greyed out and cannot be chosen. The AudibleAir application runs fine EXCEPT for this issue, which renders the software useless.

Report with grouping issue

I have a report which have year(2008), Category(0-1,2-3, ALL), product(0,1,2,3,4..), % sales. I group by all the category elements and called it as All, I am not getting the right percentage sales for the Category ALL other wise for 0-1,2-3 i am getting it right. Please advise where i am doing it wrong. please find the blog for a screen shot of my issue.

Reverse call log issue

i keep getting an error when i try to do a reverse call lookup. it says try setting phone list view to "call log" but i don't have that option. It says if this option is unavailable this is a known but and we are working with RIM to correct the issue. If you require assitance accessing the phone list view settings or would like to be notified when a fix is available please use the Send Us Feedback option and indicate Reverse Call Log issue in message. But where is this send us feedback? I'm so confused. Anyone have this problem or know where I can get some help for it? Thanks again

How did you reload the firmware? Did you backup the data and perform a reset using *#7370# before reloading? Try and reply.

Solution
There's no auto answer for the device itself unless u plugged in
related accessories. Try this ..
1. Menu -> Settings
-> Calling -> Call -> Anykey Answer -> set to OFF
2.
Menu -> Settings -> Phone -> Accessories -> Scroll all 6
category there and set all Automatic Answer to OFF
Important note: It shud
be in Headset, Wireless Car Kit and Music Stand.
Do a test
call from outside and see if the problem persists. Problem solved !

I have appeared to have fixed the issue.
I noticed the Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers had a Repair Function, i ran this process and reconnected my device.
All drivers were then found and installed correctly.

Hi, yesterday i saw software update in my iphone 6 and i thought it will solve the call quality issue , but unfortunately it was not for that.
Dear iphone support , the call quality in iphone 6 is really bad, I was using iphone 4S and that had great voice quality. iphone 6 voice during call is not clear , it has noise .
When I told my friends about the problem , they told me that I might have bought the refurbish phone. But I bought it from Dubai in 750 USD and I do not think it would be the case.

Since my iPhone 6 has great Call Quality,
My tip would be to take it to an Apple shop. All apple Products have world wide warranty.
If it is really they should be able to fix it.

Sorting /Grouping Issue: Single Artist Compilation Album Doesn't Group

iTunes 8 Sorting / Grouping Issue
EXAMPLE
• Album: Essential Willie Nelson
• There are 22 songs on this Disc
• 19 of them are labelled "Willie Nelson" in the artist field
• 3 of them are lebelled "Willie Nelson Feat. Waylon Jennings" in the artist field
PROBLEM
• Album will not stay grouped together when in the standard "Sort by Artist" in Grid View. A very legitimate expectation to be able to have Willie's name listed along with his pals in the artist field and have them grouped together in one album within Willie's albums section. 19 songs group within one album in the Willie Nelson section and the other 3 are placed separately either in the compilation section or as separate albums within the regular artists grid view.
I've read most if not all postings that suggest solutions but no matter what... they don't work. The only way that I know to work is to strip out all other names and leave only "Willie Nelson" in the Artist field. All other sorting and grouping options don't work for this issue... I've tied every combination. My opinion is that this is just a limitation at this time and there is no solution until future updates. I don't want a cheezy work-around either, that's very "unApple like". I assume it to be fixed in future updates.

There's a few other "goodies" I have found also but haven't had time to check out.
If you have songs not in iTunes that you want to add to iTunes in a different format than the song is in...
(This is carried over from at least 7.4)
Set the Importing prefs to what you want the new file to be.
Hold the Option key and go to menu Advanced and select *Convert selection to* AAC (or whatever is in the Import prefs}.
This will add it to iTunes in the new format.
Previously, you had to Import the file, change the prefs, go to Advanced - *Convert selection to*, convert the file, then delete the original from iTunes.
This is new...
In iTunes 8, go to to File - > *Show duplicates*. (moved from View menu).
Now hold Option and go to to File and it now displays *Show exact duplicates*.
Don't know what it means by *exact duplicate* though.

Group Issue

HI Gurus,
My client is following this scenario.It has make to Order scenario and so many subcontracting process is done by the client.
The scenario is like,multiple work Orders are sent to Subcontract Vendor through single Group Issue.
For Example: 5 different work orders have the same processing work and has to be carried out by SC vendor X.
What they are doing, they donot issue the materials to the same SC vendor 5 times instead they make a group of the work Orders and issue the materials to SC at a time.
How can we map this into SAP????????

In MB1B , you can club all the PO's & issue the Goods to the SC vendor.
Goto MB1B, enter movemnt type 541, Click on To Purchase order & enter the PO & item details. Now adopt the details & issue the Goods to SC vendor.

6300 Caller Group & Profile problems

Just bought this phone for my girlfriend. She is trying to set a certain mp.3 ringtone to a specific caller group.
She has only one caller group (my details) which has several numbers, a profile image and a caller group tone.
However, when i call her mobile, her default ring tone plays, and the number displayed is just that, the number. No name, or profile image appear.
I have looked high and low, via the instruction manual and the internet, and i can not find where the problem could be.
She is using SIM & Phone for the memory. I have switched off the phone and back on, and still no joy.
It seems as if the standard ring tone & settings is over-riding the caller group profile.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Here is what I do...
1) Menu -> Contacts -> Groups
2) Scroll to the group and press Options, DO NOT OPEN THE GROUP (i.e. View)
3) Select 'Group details'
4) Scroll down to 'Group tone' and press Options, DO NOT PLAY IT
5) Select 'Change tone'
6) Select 'Open Gallery'
7) Navigate to, and select, your tone.
