Nokia 610 no sound, only vibrates

My new Nokia 610 suddenly developed no sound/ringtones/even keyboard tones/no incoming-outgoing audio.
Incoming call vibrates only.
Outgoing call cannot hear anything either way.
Vendor performed hard reset, it worked until the next time switched on and off, then next day same thing.
Other functions, e.g wi-fi, gps OK
any advice?

Did you accidentally touch the right keys(those are the volume keys),press up for volume up.
or maybe you should check setting ringtones and sounds whether u have set the ringtone for your phone
if all this doesn't applies,might be a defect product,I suggest for u to use your warranty or get a new phone

IPhone 6 plus alert sounds not working/only vibration works

Sound is not working when I get text messages or other alerts and notifications. Phone only vibrates. I have already checked settings. Even keyboard clicks are not making a noise and under settings it is set to make a noise when clicked

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps? If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange.

I don't have sound anymore either. The mute button is in the correct position, the sounds are all on and the volume is all the way up. iTunes plays but I only get vibrations when a call or text comes through. I tried resetting but it did not solve the problem.

Try a reset. To reset the iPhone, press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the slide to power off prompt). If that doesn't work, perform a Restore via iTunes (from backup).

Far as I know, you have to flip the side switch so that it doesn't show the orange strip AND turn vibrate off in Preferences/Sounds. That's the only way I've managed to turn off vibrate for the alarm clock. Of course, it's a pain to have to do it all over again when you want to set your phone to silent and still know someone's calling or texting you...

Incoming calls are not heard, only vibrate. I have reset the phone back to factory settings and still do not get any ring tone sounds for any incoming calls. The phone only vibrates. I have checked all setting including volume and do not get any sounds from the phone on incoming calls.

Check the Mute / Silent Switch on the side of the phone...

I just got a Motorola Moto G and even though I have set Notifications to a sound in settings, and none of the vibrate modes are selected - the phone will only vibrate when a text comes in? Am I missing something? Thanks.

Lets get to the bottom of this! I do suggest heading into Messages, once in messages click on the menu option in the lower right hand corner, then select settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page under Notifications and ensure vibrate is off. You also change sounds here.

I installed Labview on my system and I saw Sound and vibration Pallet. Now, I am working with 4610 accelerometer through USB 6008 and analyzing the Voltage levels in labview. I have a doubt that the sound and vibration pallet is only for when using NI sound and vibration kit or can I use those options in this project.

in a loop - capture a waveform (4096 points for example) from your accelerometer - analyze it, and then output a serial command with the adjustment based on your analysis.
repeat the loop until some measurement is met - the serial device is stable, for example.
