Depending on your region, you can try checking the Store if Yahoo Messenger is available for download on your Asha 503. There are also other chat and social applications that have Yahoo Messnger client. Here's an example: NimBuzz
It would also be good to ask Yahoo if they have plans of releasing their mobile chat app to the New Asha OS. Visit this link to go to their support page: https://messenger.yahoo.com/

Nokia C6-00 Chat can't sign-in to Yahoo Messenger
I've just downloaded and installed the nokia chat app but for the life of me i can't sign-in to yahoo messenger. it keeps on saying "Invalid User ID / Password" and i SWEAR ON ALL THINGS HOLY that my id and password are correct!
Gtalk and MSN works fine tho.
Anyone else facing this?
I've tried re-installing it (three times already). I even changed my Yahoo password but still doesn't work.
Any help anyone?

I have been trying to login in on software like Euddy and facebook chat from internet mobile but I am unable to log in but its logs in via wifi. First i thought there might be a problem from the service provider but when i tried my sim in another mobile it was able to log into Ebuddy n other IM softwares n when tried to log in on C6-00 with a diffrent sim the problem was still there.Which concludes that there is a problem in the mobile itself. and not in the sim or the service which is provided by the service provider.
Have any of you faced the same p

Nokia's new asha models come up with the chat app pre-installed. Just open Chat from the home menu and add your Yahoo and gTalk accounts there. You can also use Nimbuzz which does the similar work too..
If you're looking for Yahoo Messenger or gTalk for calling, that isn't possible. You can only use the chat from your phone. -

Does anybody know if the Yahoo offers on the Nokia 5300 are still supported ?
During last firmware update (4.70) I lost the ability to run Yahoo GO.
Today I (unfortunatly) upgrade to firmware 5.0 and now I lost the ability to connect to Yahoo Messenger (Chat) !!??
Any infos or explanations ?
By the way I really think it's great to see how well Nokia is reporting errors.
And I wanted to congratulate them on this point.
You certainly feel better when your Chat connection fails and you read 'Connection failed' !!??
It's probably very difficult to write 'Connection failed. Unable to open network connection' or something else more accurate. This way end users would know if they need to contact their network service provider or Nokia.Ensure that you still have a default access point (APN_ setup for your network. It could be that it got removed when you upgraded the firmware. If you are unsure about this please ask and I will help.

Yahoo Messenger (Sprint Pre): No account button! only one Y! at a time?
Hi,
I have a Sprint Pre, and I have a Yahoo IM account set up in my Messaging application. Works great, tho sometimes it does take a long time to sign in or needs me to sign out then try signing back in for it to succeed in signing in.
When I go to Accounts and Preferences, and go to the Add Account menu, I only see two buttons, one for adding a google account and one for adding an AIM account.
I'm just checking: should I see an option to add a Yahoo IM account also? or does the fact that I already have one set up mean that I can't add another one, and the button not being there is a reflection of that?
I'm a little nervous in case I ever had to delete the Yahoo IM account or if I ever have to re-setup the account. If I do, will that button be there again?Yahoo Messenger isn't natively supported on the Palm Pre/Pixi, and all signs point to it not ever happening. This is a known issue and has befuddled Palm users since the device came out. There is yet to be any work-arounds that I'm aware of.

Web Cam does not work for yahoo messenger

I down loaded a s/w MacCleanse, it kinda deleted a lot of files from my mac book air after which the web cam stopped working on yahoo messenger. I checked Ichat the cam works perfectly but does'nt with messenger. Does any one have a clue on how to fix this..from my experience, attempting to use two programs that allow the use of the camera will render it unusable on the second program attempting to use it. So, if you started iChat first, then forgot to quit the program, and are now trying to use Yahoo Messenger, then you must quit iChat first and it should work.

In OS 10.6, I could locate the log for my yahoo messenger in the Library under Application Support/Logs/_________________ and delete messages AND users from my archive. With OS 10.7 and OS 10.8, I am only able to delete conversations one at a time and unable to delete old users at all. I am also unable to find out where new conversations are stored. Can anyone help? Thanks.
It is likely they're still stored in the same location. However, in Lion and above, Apple has hidden the Library folder by default.
To find it, hold down the option key and select the "Go" menu item, and Library will appear as an option in that list. You can then select it and from there navigate to Application Support/Logs/XXX to delete stuff. -
It could be a coincidence but when I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 I can't seem to play any games on Yahoo Messenger with my friends. I know when I updated for some reason I had to try 3 times before it took it. It shows it's updated. I'm wondering if I have to un-install and re-install it. Also, I never use Internet Explorer 8 but when I went in there to check I found a plug in check link there and it showed over there that Adobe Flash Player needed updating but it was an older version and not the one Foxfire had me update too. Now I'm really confused if this is causing a problem. I have never had to check Internet Explorer for plug ins before. Have always just updated in Foxfire since that's what I use. The Adobe Flash Player seems to play videos okay so not really sure if that's the issue or not. My Java plug-ins have been fine and have been updated awhile ago, so I know it's not that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

no link to open access to the internet. I used Yahoo Messenger, clicked on the 'mail icon' and since Firefox is my default it opened and I was able to continue from there. If I try to click File, open New Page, I get the "problem loading webpage" and "connection timed out" messages
changed my homepage to Yahoo. Now Firrefox works but still cannot access ANYTHING 'Google"!
