To all you Nokia 616 car kit and Iphone users.... after updating to the new 2.0 software update on the iphone the two phone can now connect via bluetooth, i donno about you but i've been waiting for this for over a year.... )))

Let's share our experiences:
After upgrading 2.0 I am finally able to connect from Nokia 616 to iPhone, but the other end cannot hear me.
I can hear him/her, managed to download contacts, dialing/answering is working but other end cannot hear me.
Tried to reset both devices with the same results.

In order to play music through the headset, it must support this particular profile, A2DP. You can check the specs on the headset to see if it does support that. Not all headsets that support phone calls will support music.

Nokia n73 and Apple iSync problems

hello all,
I have a nokia N73 and an Apple macbook computer. I've been able to sync my n73 with my Apple (calendar and address book). It works for about 1 week and then stops working. I've tried deleting the n73 from iSync and installing it again (using both USB and Bluetooth). Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, which is really annoying.
I have Mac OS X version 10.4.10. and iSync version 2.4 (501.2). i did not install any plugins because this version of iSync and Mac OS X are supposed to be compatible, but I have not been able to make them work.
Any help?

I have an iMac G5 with OS X 10.4.11, iSync 2.4, and an N73 Music Edition (not sure whether this makes a difference).
I modified a config file several months ago (I forget the details, but I copy and pasted the entry for a phone with the same operating system, called it N73 et voila.)
If I plug the N73 into the iMac via the USB cable and try and sync (after selecting PC Suite on the phone), connection fails. Every time.
However, if I power off the phone, and power it back on, then connect the USB cable and select PC Suite, synchronisation works perfectly!
I cannot explain why, but rebooting the phone enables iSybc to work every time. Answers on a postcard to...

PS. Selecting Mass Storage (instead of PC Suite) creates a new drive in Finder, which enables you to quickly and easily copy music/picture/video files to/from the iMac.

Nokia 6630 and Apple MacBook

My Nokia 6630 and MacBook find each other and I can transfer files from MacBook to Nokia but when I try to send something from Nokia to MacBook, it can't find the device. Should it also work this way or isn't the MacBook supported someway?

HT5569 both t-mobile and Apple Iphone guys have failed to have my handset access internet via simcard where do i go to now

I am unable to access Internet despite my simcard has unlimited Internet provided by t-mobile. I spent 2 hrs with a t-mobile agent who tried all sorts of tricks from resetting and going via itunes and failed. He gave a number to apple helpline. I call and had a guy try all sort of tricks but still am left without mobile Internet. unless am connected to a wifi in the house. I have used this handset for over 7 months in and out of the country and yet it has never given a problem as I change simcards wherever I go. Now where do I go for help? The guy at iphone could not even restore my fone, even after switching off my find my fone app.

This is a user forum so your tantrum is not reaching Apple, you are only addressing other iphone users.
What is Life video? If it requires Flash, then it will not play as Adobe ( the maker of Flash) does not make a Flash player for iphone.
The iphone is a product with a set of features, if the features you want are not on the iphone, then you should buy another phone. You are not "entitled" to anything as you have the choice not to use/buy the iphone.
The iphone is designed to sync with itunes. Again, this is a requirement of the product.

Nokia 616 and 8800

I'm trying to use my nokia 8800 with 616 car kit in hands free mode since i don't have external antenna, but it keeps going into sim access mode.
I've searched the forum, but there seems to be no topics adressing this issue.

You can buy a autolead for this vehicle, it connects to the amplifier in the boot, i have done quite a few and had no problems. I would try and find a decent cellular engineer most garage engineers are not clued up with thing like this.

ok so my iphone 4 32gb origionally black
but has had glass replacement to white
my iphone was thrown at a wall not by me
and now its glass is broken and it wont turn on most times
also the screen is halfworking and before the phone was thrown it turned of constantly
so how much will it cost for a out of warranty replacement one for Australia?

U8 watch and Apple Iphone 5S

Just got the U8 watch for xmas and I have an IPhone 5s everything works with it I have connected it to my phone but I cannot see messages or get notifications on my watch as IPHONE do not have BT notifier application on their,

Nokia N810 and apple wireless KB

Hi,
Just received my new apple wireless KB. l tried to pair it with my Nokia internet tablet N810 to no avail.
As for any bluetooth device, it is asking me for a "passcode".
none appear on Apple's handbook or box. Any idea, please, or does this mean they're not compatible.
Called Applecare, they can't help. they never heard of a passcode.

4 Months Later and Apple iPhone 6 Rebate Still Not Received

I have been told numerous time my rebate was sent 11/13/14. I've also been told numerous times it would be resent. The last call in February, I was told if I didn't receive it within 15 business days, it would be credited directly to my account. I still have not received it and today's representative was extremely rude and offered no help except to tell me it was sent 11/13/14 and it would be resent.
I repeatedly get notices that my payment is late because I am paying my current bill but not the money Verizon owes me. Verizon expects full payment from me but can't get me the money that I am owed. My son would not have upgraded and extended his contract without the rebate offer.
Sprint is offering to buyout contracts up to $350. I've been a verizon customer for many years. I am about to become a Sprint customer.
Anyone else having problems getting the rebate or have any solution?

Ask to be connected to the customer retention department.
and yes the buy back on your previous phone would be on your bill.
Keep in mind, Sprint requires you turn in your current phone and buy a new one to get the $350 buy out. And the coverage map is a joke.

Nokia 616 cannot connect to iphone

Have just upgraded my 2G iPhone to v3.0 software and the 616 will now longer connect (it worked bine with the 2.1 and 2.2 software). Sometimes it will find the phone sometimes it won't, but even when it finds it it will not initiate the pairing process.
Anyone managed to get the 616 to work with iPhone v3.0 firmware?

Strange Issues with Apple TV & Apple iPhone when using iPhoto?

Im not sure if this is the right forum but since iPhoto seems to be the only missing link to my problem - I hope someone can help me out.
First let me explain my situation in great detail so I dont steer anyone in the wrong direction.
Of course everything works perfect if you only use the internal Hard Drive in my iMac. In other words, using iPhoto to create albums and slideshows worked flawless. Apple TV & Apple iPhone synced what I needed perfectly.
I then decided to get a 500G External Hard Drive to hold all my pictures and music. Everything changed!!
I followed the instructions on Apple's Support Web Documents. It appears that everything has moved over nice and smooth. I say that because when I open the Macintosh HD (OEM Internal) there are no movies or photos to be found on that drive any more.
It also appears that iPhoto has no issues itself. In other words, it finds all my photos (on the external 500G drive) displays them perfectly. I can create albums and slide shows as well.
The problem comes from Apple TV and Apple iPhone NOT seeing any more photos or slide shows. I figured that I must have to "point" Apple TV & iPhone (which in reality is iTunes) to a "new" location since its all been moved from the OEM Internal HD.
Now in iTunes, in the "photos" tab, I choose a new folder (instead of iPhoto) and browse the the External 500G HD, select the "iPhoto Library" folder and then iTunes now can see all 2,281 photos!!
Problem is that I dont want to sync ALL my photos just some of the Albums I created. iTunes doesn't see ANY albums or slideshows.
Since I created those albums before I moved the library - I figured I might have to delete all the albums/slide shows and make new ones while the data is all on the External 500G HD.
No such luck. Its like any albums I now create work fine INSIDE iPhoto but Apple TV and iPhone just see ALL my photos and NOT any albums I create inside iPhoto.
Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
The file structure in the iPhoto Library folder is very confusing. I have a total of 2,281 photos. 1,028 of them are in a folder called "Data" & the other 1,028 photos are in a folder called "Original". Both folders have a bunch of years inside them with my photos scattered all over the place.
I dont see my "Albums" anywhere inside these folders.
Now if I create my own folder inside the "iPhoto Library" folder - iTunes and iPhone will pick up on that folder I created!!
In essence, I have to open up iPhoto - then drag photos to my "new folder" I created in order for iTunes to see them.
Im I on the right track here? I didnt have to do any of this when I just used my Internal OEM HD.
Any suggestions or comments?

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

It has micro-sim slot.
I have no way of knowing if it's unlocked. If you go to the section on the page that says technical details and click on more technical details the give you a link to contact customer support. Perhaps they can answer your questions.
The second iPhone says that it's factory unlocked so I would imagine that the first is not unlocked.
