Nokia 6220 cannot restore contacts

Hi,
Did a firnmware update on the above phone and backed up b 4. Did a restore and it wont bring back the contacts ? any ideas ?

When I am sending a text message, I cannot see the contact telephone number in the To: field. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed ?
In my previous nokia phones, you can always see the contact name and the number you are using.

1 : Assume that you have entered the different nos. (mobile, Landline, etc)for ONE person under a single Phone book entry..
2 : If you have done the above you will get the pop-up box for selecting the phone no.
3 : When you select the no. from the list you know which one was selected (... and it is not a landline no..)
Then why do you need to see the no. in the 'To' field once again ?
And you can first write the Text message and then add receipients in the 'To' field...

Nokia 6280 failure restoring contact list using pc...

Hello,
I own a Nokia 6280. Firmware - v3.81
OS: Win XP.
I took the phone to my local phone provider(partner orange, from which I bought the device) to update the phones version. This action has deleted my entire contact list.
Beforehand I made a backup using the pc suite back up feature, and the backup went smoothly. Now, when I try to restore my info using the restore function in the backup(content copier),it restores everything except the contact list. Somewhat in the middle of the resotration of the contact list, an error jumps saying the connection to the phone has been list. A few seconds later the connection restores automatically.
I tried solving the problem using this thread:

But it didnt quite work
What can I do to solve this problem? How can I restore my contacts?
And if not, Is there a way to convert the Backup NBU file into Outlook VCF format?

except notepad can't disipher the the names into english, and so cant hexedit's of their sort.

I tried to recover the phone as soon as I recieved it from the phone provider with the new v3.81. That is , the manufacturer's settings were the default. Unfortunantly that didn't work.

After backing up my old 3G Iphone I restored the info to my new 3GS Iphone but it does not appear on my new phone.
Any suggestion?

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Have you ever synchronized your Contacts wirelessly with an email account or synchronized the contacts using the BlackBerry Desktop software with Microsoft Outlook? One option may be to re-sync the contacts to the device without using the Backup file, if not let me know and we can see what other options you may have.

Cannot restore contacts using PC Companion

Hi allI had taken a backup of all the contactcs before upgrading to 4.3After upgrading to 4.3 at some point I deleted my contacts intentionaly. Now when i try to restore the contacts through PC companion it says successful and asks me to restart the phone. But no contacts are coming up on restart.I have many backup copies. none are working though pc companion says successful. Please help

Hi A-T I do faced this problem few months ago, where i lost all my contacts from phone, since i had back up i tried to restore it, it says successful but in contact list it shows empty, and but in messages list, it shows names of the person!! who sent me the messages(mean i can see that contact has been restored since numbers is converted to names) but in contacts it shows empty. unfortunately i dont remember how i figured that out, even i tried same scenario using my phone now, i cant able to find that, in case if i found then will let you know.. what i suggest is( am not sure about it since i have contacts list with me now i cant try that )so, try this >if contacts list is showing empty, open contacts, then right click (properties) you can see few options i guess there might have some options reference to hidden contacts(i guess) , by choosing that option you might see the contacts list let me know , if not found Manjuboyz

You could try again later but usually, that message means that the server detected a jailbroken device. Has your iPad been hacked or jailbroken? Or, has your computer been used with a hacked or jailbroken device?

There is no such thing as a "Factory Unlocked iPhone "
They are either locked to a carrier who may at some stage offer unlocking
or sold direct to a user by Apple (from their own Stores or online .)
Those iPhones are NOT locked

- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

Can't restore wireless printing to my Photosmart 3310; "cannot be contacted over network"

Previously I could print wirelessly, and now I can't.
Control panel shows items in queue, printing, then unspecified "error."
No recent power outages, changes (except the New Year), and my laptop still has Internet wirelessly.
I can't print a Test Page via laptop, and I've tried lots of fixes to no avail. [i.e. System restore. Unplugging laptop, printer, router. HP Print & Scan Dr. Replaced ink cartridges. Printed a Network Config Page which identifies no issues that I can discern; shows "connected." Turned off Firewall & tried to print; no luck. Windows Updater is up-to-date and apparently so are drivers. Tried changing last digits of IP addresses of Port, Printer & Laptop so they'd match, but that didn't work.] However, running my Control Panel's Troubleshooter, it reports "Problems found: Printer HP Photosmart 3300 series cannot be contacted over the network."
I used the printer's "HP Wireless Setup Wizard" to reestablish a network connection, and success was reported -- says connected to network. But I still can't print wirelessly.
Incidentally, today I discovered I can send a Fax but cannot receive one. Relevant? Advice welcomed!

Welcome to the HP Forums! I understand your concerns. Please verify your operating system on your computer. Click here to find out: Windows.
Since the Print Queue is stating a unspecified "error", I will suggest following this YouTube video on Restarting the Print Spooler. Please restart the computer after performing this step.
Next, try adding a new Port:
1) Go into Devices and Printers on your computer
2) Right click on your printer
3) Select printer properties
4) Select ports tab at the very top
5) Click on add a port, select Standard TCP/IP port, then select new port
6) Type in your IP address from your printer, click next, then finish
7) Click apply, then OK
8) Try to Print a document
If these steps don't resolve your issue, then please try a USB cord to test the connection.
Please follow this HP document on Troubleshooting Fax Transmission and Reception Issues. This document will provide troubleshooting steps to fix why you are unable to receive a fax.
Let me know if these documents don't resolve your issue, as I will assist you further.

Contacts are not managed in Firefox, unless you are taking about Firefox Desktop and Firefox Hello?
Where do you manage your contacts, this might help direct you to the correct support.
