I followed a simple guide, downloaded all the right stuff, installed and flashed my phone to latest 5.43...works great. Google it and you'll find it.

Firstly remove the battery for at least 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference.
Then try the "3 finger deep reset" which is with the phone turned off, depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM. So, unless you have a previous backup of your phone, you will lose all your data.
If none of the above worked then you will need to send your phone to the nearest Nokia Care Point.

Nokia 6233 Firmware Update Question

So I decided to update my phone's firmware, but I don't have the cable. So here's the question, is it possible to do this via Bluetooth instead of cable?

Nokia 6303i Firmware 7.10 Update

hello, i have a nokia 6303i with the firmware 6.61.
now i want to update the firmware to 7.10. and i want to do it over my cellphone. when i go to options and search for new software then my cellphone says no new software available. but there is a new firmware 7.10! so what can i do to update the firmware? i dont want to do it over the pc with usb. has anybody the same problem? can anybody help me?

Is there any posibility to transform an 6303i into a 6303?
I just brought an 6303i and it's like hell the menu, especially the stand by menu, with that big ugly icons.
I like much more the 6303, very soft.

I have so far some-paints tries my software to update.
Each time the update procedure begins, sometime stands then on the telephone “test mode”.
On the computer wars I the reference in the update manager “connection to the telephone broken off” and wants the update to again start.
If I change my profile attitudes since that for example, then after a telephone restart again deleted.
What there can I make?

It sounds like your 5800 has the earpiece fault that was common with 5800's made before February.
You need to take it to a nokia care point for repair under warranty.

buddy they have improved the bluetooth. its nice.
LT font router is also not working so u have to remain with small font but psiloc font magnifier works

Very odd, not known a phone to be missing it's product code from the label under the battery before.
Have you tried connecting your phone to the computer and running the Nokia Software Updater?
This will tell you if there's an available update.
Be aware if your phone is network branded then it's highly unlikely that an update will be available. Most networks don't like approving new updates.

Nokia 5610 firmware update....................

im having a little problem with my nokia 5610 firmware update.
The problem is that after updating my phone with version 8.30 the slide animation feature of my phone is not working. On slide open\close the picture set in the theme is supposed to appear but nothing appears.
Before the update this feature was working perfectly fine. i reported about this issue to nokia customer care also but they just advised me to wait for the next firmware i.e. v9.40 . As the new firmware released on my product code i again updated my phone's firmware and this time with version 9.40. Still it did not help me. The same problem persists . Please note here that nothing went wrong during the update . All other features of my phone are working perfectly fine .
Can anyone please help me on this issue??????

The version 10.00 for the Nokia 5610 has been around since early July, so certainly it would be available for all countries in the APAC region.
Just make sure the phone is fully charged and backed up and you're set to update.

Nokia 5310 FirmWare Update

I am Using 5310 Xpress Music edition phone. It has the firmware version V03.60. The phone reboots while playing MP3 files.
I would like to update my firmware. I checked with nokia software updater V1.4.23en that the phone has V3.63 firmware update. I tried to update thro the updater but it fails to detect my phone. I am using the pcsuite 6.85 and the connection is good while connected thro pcsuite.
I followed the instructions while connecting thro software updater. I accepted "PC suite as the default option on my phone" and I got my phone charged full.
I would like to update to latest firmware version. Kindly help me on this issue.

I am also using nokia 5310. I have updated the firmware to 3.63 last week..
I just installed the PC suite, then the nokia software updater. Connect the phone to the PC and wait till it gets detected by the PC suite. Then Start the nokia software updater, it detected the phone, then checks for update. It found the Firmware update and ask to update. I just click on update and it downloads the update file of 33MB. Then got updated.
You should have a high speed internet connection before you update your mobile.

Nokia 6680 firmware update

Has anyone else had trouble updating the nokia 6680 firmware. My current firmware is V3.04.11 and i have read that the new version is V5.04.07 but the updater says there is no updates for my phone.

Or [latest version] for your operator variant... If you have operator spesific phone it's SW releases are approved by operator and Nokia's updater apparently is kind enough to install only latest version of whatever your dear operator has approved for you. My 6680 (generic, non-subsidised version) updated to 5.04.07 just fine with the updater.

How do you update phone firmware version?
1. Download Nokia pc suite and use NSU.(For Windows User only)
2. Try over the Air update (MAC/Windows User)
If your mobile data rates allow, try doing an over the air update. Support varies by phone, variant and software
Go to tools >Utilities> Device manager (location may vary by device)
There should be an updates tab
This functionality may not be available in your device. Contact your service provider for more information

First off BACK UP YOUR DEVICE! make sure you have a back up of the memory card and also the device memory and make sure that the battery of your device has enough power or connect the chager before starting update. To start the update select access point. The device starts to download the device data.
When the data is downloaded the update description is displayed. Select Accept to accept the download of the update package or cancel to cancel the download. IT may take several minutes and you can use your device during the download but not during installation time.

to add a new server profile seleat Options> New server profile.
Contact your service provider for correct settings
Server name- Enter a name for the configuration server
Server Id- Enter the unique ID to identify the configuaration server
Server Password- Enter a password to identify your device to server
Access point- Select the access point to connect to the server
Host Address- Enter the url address of server
Port-Enter the port number of the server
User name & password- Enter your username and password for the server
Allow configuration- To allow receiving configuration settings from this server select yes
Auto Accept all requests-To have your device ask for your confirmation before accepting configuration from this server. Select NO
Network Authentication- Select if network authentication is used. Enter your Network username and Network password to identify your device to the server.

Hi to all!
This morning I have tried more times to adjourn the Software of my Telephone, the Nokia 6233, but without success. I have followed footstep footstep the present instructions in the site Nokia, I have verified the present Software on my telephone (V.03.70), that available among the updatings (V 04.91), therefore I have unloaded Nokia Software Update, but once connected the Jail cell to the PC and effected the connection for the verification of available updatings, the Software it tells me that there are no available updatings for my telephone.
In thing I am being wrong?
Does someone help me?

i recently bought nokia n82, today i plug into my pc, and i update my firmware. after the update, i figure out that the fonts become other type and the icon in the menu doesn't move while selected. Is this normal?? I lose my chinese language too...i really regret updating the firmware

Yes, it's absolutely normal to experience such minor changes after updating the firmware. But fortunately you can get icons animated again by selecting Menu - Options - Icon animation -> On. Also the font size can be changed from Menu - Tools - Settings - General - Personalisation - Display - Font size.
I'm wondering: did the device really lost Chinese language pack after the update? Just do a simple check: go to Menu - Tools - Settings - General - Personalisation - Language - Phone language; is Chinese still there?
