Nokia 6267 problems

I'm trying to send a music file to my friend. And i have 2 error's being displayed.
1-Folder Contents unavailable for Selection
2-Unable to insert.File too Large
I do not know how to solve for error number 1.
For error number 2.It seems that the file im sending is too large. But the file is only 1.3MB. It seems to be working fine whenever i send an Image file to myself.
Can someone help me with my problem..Thank you

Hello everybody.
I buy Nokia 6267 very good phone. For default i have installed Opera mini version nokia_s40_3 all v.2.0.7346, 20070402. I receive automatic settings from my operator (Globul) on Bulgaria for wap via GPRS and with Nokia application for browsing the net i have not problems - opening wap site and etc, but when I try to go to web sie with Opera mini I receive error of connection. How to set-up Opera mini for opening web?
I have this problem and other java apps used net.

I install Opera mini v4.0 but have same problem. When i started ask me to allow internet connection for this app I answered Yes, but again receive error...
Maybe have problem with access point? Because i don't know what happen and how is configured my phone when i receive and save automatic settings from my operator. Nokia 6267 Static Noise

Hello,
I have a brand new Nokia 6267 and experience the following:
* while using my phone, the other end of my call can hear static. It's not their problem since many different listeners on different phones can hear it. I am suspecting that the antenna is somehow causing interference to my phone's microphone.
* also, while using my phone with the standard Nokia hands-free on, i can also hear the static in the earpieces.
If anyone here faces the same behavior, please post here so I can relax that this is normal (although very annoying). Finally, if anyone knows or supects this is some kind of malfunction, please post here.

Blow into the microphone and see if it disappears.
Does it happen at all places when you use the phone or at specific places ?

Nokia 6267 -- syncml -- russian chars is not worki...

I've got problem with russian characters on Nokia 6267.
Some chars are missing or invalid. I'm using ovi sync.
Is it possible to fix?

I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.

Nokia 6267 battery

I just tried out my new Nokia 6267 – Nokia claims the standby battery time is up to 300 hours, actually, my phone only manages 48. What a piece of junk! Seems like I’m not the only one with this problem either. I’m surprised that they still sell the thing - are there actually people out there that get it home, notice that it doesn’t even come close to what the manufacturer claims it can do, and then don’t return it? This one is going back to the shop…

Why should the battery be charged for 16 hours before first use? If the battery is full charging is usually stopped to avoid overcharging. The user-manual doesn't require that either, so what's about that 16 hrs?
The battery is to be charged to full for the 1st time to increase Battery life. Charging time varies on phone models. Some manuals Specify the time. Some dont.

Nokia 820 problems

Just bought two Nokia 820s, one for my wife and one for myself. Awesome phones except for a couple of issues. First, the GPS and Nokia Here Maps. When I am at home the maps show me in the right spot but reports (showing the address) that I am 3 houses down the street. When I am at work, the phone shows my position correctly but reports that I am in the Elementary School across the street. Hmmmm. gMaps does not have this problem and seems to have more detailed maps about my city and roadways. So it is a Nokia software problem? I like the Here functionality better, but the accuracy and detail are missing compared to other map services so I have to keep more than one app on my phone, using precious space. Second, I would really like to be able to sync my phone calendar with my google calendar and tasks. Right now I have to use third party apps so I have more than one calendar app (I prefer to use the one on my phone with live tiles!!!!) and more than one task app, etc... and more than one travel app. Also it would be nice to separate the people I want in my phone book from the people I have on social accounts (I will NEVER be calling most of the people on my facebook account, but there are people I call on a regular basis and I hate scrolling through or having to search a gajillion people to find who or what business I am looking for) and still have them listed, just seperately.
Thanks for listening and I sincerely hope these issues can be addressed.

Were you running gMaps on the same phone? If so then that would suggest the innacuracy in probably in the mapping data. This being the case, you should report the error to the map data provider using the link below.

Unfortunately there is no way you will be able to get the information from your phone saved. In order to have that done the phone must be in working order.
The phone might however still be repairable and if Nokia cannot fix it for you then perhaps you can try a general cellular repair shop. If the problem is hardware related they might be able to fix it with out you losing your data stored on the phone. If they have to reload the firmware then you will loose everything on the phone unfortunately.

6267 problem with personal config. settings

Please i need some help. I have an unlocked nokia model 6267 i bought it in a nokia store in Mexico City. I use this phone with 2 operators. Yesterday i erased my configuration settings i had with one of this operators because i had a problem connecting with EDGE so i can configurate them again.
The problem now is that when i try to configure any of the personal configutation settings (web, mms, access point, etc) i only receive the message:
"Cannot add new account. Memory full"
Of course i have to say that my phone memory is not full. I have 22 MB free.
Someone plz can help me with this problem.

Nokia 5130 problems...please help!

hiya i recently updated my Nokia 5130 over-the-air and had no problems so far. then i have downloaded the latest internet settings fro my phone via my network operator. no problem there. but whenever i surf the net or use 3rd-party chat service the internet shuts down and just stops working? why is this? is there a way to use my internet (to surf or chat) seamlessly? (n.b. i have an unlimited internet option on my network account).

Nokia 6210 Problems with using Edge (Internet Conn...

I have a Nokia 6210 phone bought from an authorized Nokia Care Center in Delhi, India two weeks ago. The software version on the phone is 3.08 dated 11-June 2008. It also mentions custom version as 03.08.c00.01
I am an Airtel Prepaid customer in New Delhi, India and had been using Mobile Office service on my prepaid number for some time. It worked perfectly fine for my Nokia 6233. On my current Nokia 6210 the Internet connection works fine for the first time through the built in browser or though any other application (like Google Maps, Gmail etc) which required internet and displays the sign signifying that the edge connection is active.
The problem is that once I close the application the standby sign for Edge network is displayed as follows and no matter what I am unable to use the internet connection on the phone again until I do the following
Restart the phone (which definitely isn’t a good option)
Wait for around 8-10 minutes after which the Edge on hold sign disappears and is replaced by which means that the edge is available
I found this out accidentally, but if I press the keys *123# which I typically use for enquiring balance, the on hold sign goes away and is replaced by the Edge available sign. after which things work fine.
Not sure where the problem is. I really doubt it’s got to do something with Airtel as the same number worked perfectly fine with my previous Nokia phone in the same area. In addition my wife’s phone (again an Airtel prepaid number) is working great in the same area. So either this has got to do something with the handset or the compatibility of the handset with the Airtel, New Delhi.
I have tried various sets of setting from the following sources
The wizard in built in the handset
Getting the settings from the Nokia site
Getttng the settings from Airtel Customer Care
But with all of them I am facing the same set of problems.
Wanted to check if anybody out you have ever faced a similar problem with this phone or one in a simlar series?

I suggest that you don't make permanent coupling between devices. Looks like Nokia modem is more responsive when you need to manually accept every connection at the phone's end.
