Nokia 6270!

hello everyone, i have a nokia 6270, and recently i updated the firmware from 3.69 to 3.81 and i experienced a major disapointment, because first of all i have half of my volume in the player and also my language dissapeared. How do i install russian language pack into my cell phone?!

P.S. Respected administration of nokia! Please make the sky clear and answer to everyone's question about updates on 6270! Can you make a complete report about the firmware on 6270! It took me 10 mins to write this topic and it will take you 30 mins to write your report!

The lower volume is not a fault but part of the new firmware, please read the following statment:
The Nokia 6270 SW 3.81 does have lower headset output volume compared to earlier sw versions. This change is not a defect or malfunction and it does not affect the sound quality of the Nokia 6270 in a negative way. The lower output volume is implemented in the Nokia 6270 SW 3.81 to comply with new European Standards. Sw downgrade to old sw is not possible

Low output by headset for nokia 6270

As i have purchase a nokia 6270 handset,
which was having software version 3.59 or 3.69
but after giving handset to nokia centre for repair
they upgrade my handset and now the volume by headset is too low & effect also is not so fine
wheter this problem will be solved in new version ??????

It's about the problem with Nokia 6270 low volume, I bought this phone 8 months ago only because the music effects are awesome, but now i had someother problem, the nokia care, Bangalore. Nokia service center people has updated the firmware version to 3.85, now the effects have completly gone and also the volume has gone down 40%. Nokia doesn't support to install previous verions of the firmware. I don't know wheter Nokia is really care about this problem or it expcets everybody to stop using 6270. Hope Nokia will address our problem soon.

Nokia 6270 during lost connection now mobile not w...

I tried to update nokia 6270 software in middle of update its says u lost the connection to mobile and pop up a msg saying 'power off mobile remove usb cable and battery/charger for 5 sec then put battery in and USB cable do power on and retry update' i did this and then i tried to power on but my mobile is not working .... Any help ?

Strange headset problem in Nokia 6270

Hi Guys,
I have a Nokia 6270 set.It is working fine but there is a problem with headset as when I
attached it with phone,I have to restart phone so that it can recognise headset.Similarly
when I detach headset it continues to show that headset is still attached and I am unable to
use phone normally until restarted again. Please help so I can use my headset with phone
normally without restarting .

Nokia 6270 software update problems

i have nokia 6270 an recently downloaded the software update for it,when i tried to update my phone while updating it gets disabled from my startup menu.and it give the error unable to find phone,i tried it many times but the same error occurs.
plz help me how to update my nokia 6270 software.

Well, after being advised by Vodafone Customer Service to take it to a Vodafone shop to get it fixed else they will have to take it away for repairs, so I did.
Vodafone staff says, we don't fix, but we can send it away for u.....
So, back to square one.
1. My phone has lost the bottom 2 touch icons due to a phone update
2. So, I tried using Nokia Software Update on my PC, configutation error - Darn!
3. So I use Nokia Ovi Suite - Cannot update - doubledarn!!
Anyone has a [v40.0.003] file for Nokia 5230 that I can download direct onto my PC then copy to my phone for installation?

Nokia 6270 FirmWare update problem

Hi all
When Im trying to update firmware on my Nokia 6270 it says that this phone is not supported.
There is v. 3.53 of firmware in my Nokia now.
What can I do to update my phone firmware for a new version?

Unfortunately there have been a number of similar postings concerning updating 6270 via NSU. Presumably taking it to a Nokia Service Centre is not an option open to you?

i have problem with my vedio playback,when i play the vedio(3gp,Mp4)files on my nokia 6270 the sound and vedio doesn't sync with each-other.

Nokia 6270 MP4 Video - Big Problem

Hello,
I've bought a Nokia 6270 a few months ago, and i still cannot get MP4 video to play properly.
I've figured out how to get MP4 videos to play, but no matter what bit rate i set it to, it lags behind the video.
I've even tried 96 kbps and 15 frames a second.
Has anyone gotten MP4 videos to play properly on the Nokia 6270? Without lag?
Is it a firmware issue? I am running firmware 3.69 on Nokia 6270.

try to update it there
just select any phone on the list it will detect ur phone automaticly and update it if it can b updated
hmm depends on wht software ur using really or camara settings and everything....
but dont expect to much from it

I gave my Nokia 6270 to the preparing center to fix it but they have formated the mobile so it lost its contnts such as tones, applications, and games. Please guide me how to return my mobile's contents

if you have a backup in your memory card or pc,you can restore you app. and duc by restoring in your phone or Nokia pc suite(content copier) program.
if you have no back up,you have lost all your data
you need to reload the software from nokia care point and all your rintones gallery files all of them which came originally with phone will there.

Nokia 6270 Help!!!!!!

can any1 help me...i hav a nokia 6270 & every time i start a multiplayer game it says application access set to not allowed n even if i set the application access set to always allowed still it shows me the same error...n it happens the same wit file explorers n internet messengers....i even upgraded my phone software.. but still its the same issue...can any1 help me here....

I too have the same problem with my Nokia 6233,
I set the access to always allow or something else and it shows "settings saved",but again the permission is been set back to "not allowed" automatically.

Nokia 6270 and BH-100

I just got bluetooth headset 100 and i tried it on my nokia 6270 it worked but there is a noise in the headset i mean distortion...the problem is not with headset cause i tried another one and the same noise was there and even i updated the phone firmware to the lastest and the same noise is still there...anyone please help me.....

Software issues are ruled out since you updated already the firmware & this put your phone to factory setting.
Going to a Nokia Care Centre, your best bet for checking hardware related regarding blue tooth.
Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted!

Nokia 6270 Firmware flash

My nokia 6270 is behaving abdruptly. It is not reading the memory card and sim contacts however copyting contacts from sim to phone and vice-versa is working.
It seems to be an OS issue. can somebody tell how to do a firmware flash for Nokia 6270.

You can use the nokia software updater to flash the phones firmware if you have a compatible data cable. It tells you on the update site which cables work.

A nokia care point can also flash it's firmware and fix any other problems with it.

I want to update software of my Nokia 6270 but not able to find this model at any of websites. Please suggest how can I update.

This problem of identification of Nokia 6681 as Nokia 6270 seems to be a bug in the earlier versions of Nokia Software Updater. The latest version of Nokia Software Updater, v1.4.23en, identifies Nokia 6681 accurately.

Nokia 6270....Software upgrade and you will reduce...

This is a request from me that if you have the latest update of Nokia 6270 where the day i updated it with the latest software my music player is not giving the maximum output as it was giving earlier.....
I am really feeling cheated as i brought this mobile phone on the basis of its high music output, this is my general request from all Nokia 6270 users that please make the updated file for atleast the music player's application.
Hope atleast i'l be getting a positive response from your end very soon.

How about the other versions than....

Well if there is a legislation that requires the maximum output to be lowered then what can you do?
Nokia has to follow the laws and legislations of the markets they are selling to, just like everyone else.
The only thing we can do is warn other users that if they upgrade to this or later SW version then the output volume will be lowered so that they decide if they want it or not.
