Nokia 6280 the back falls off very easily

The back on my Nokia 6280 comes off very easily. Sometimes I come to take it out my pocket and it has come off - surely this isn't the norm - is it?

No - that is not normal. That the phone to a repair shop that is authorized to work on Nokia Phones and ask them to fix it for you.

We used 3 hands
Two thumbs placed according to manual.
Then at the same time by pushing with a fingernail at the end of the cover (from you third hand) from the direction of the camera it should come of easily.

Cannot get the back cover off 6300!!

Hi people,
I know this must have been asked before.
I've certainly read it elsewhere on the internet and followed the instructions diligently to no avail.
I got the back cover to my 6300 off once but I can't seem to do it again.
I have slid and pushed and pulled and stroked until I think I am going to do serious damage to my hands which I cannot afford because I am a musician.
I have tried to cool the phone down, or jimmy it open... nothing works.
I just want to get the back cover off to put a memory card in and open the usb slot properly but I seriously cannot do it and all my family have tried too.
I bought it online, so I am reluctant to go to a shop and ask for help but at this rate I will have to.
Please offer any help you may have!!

It should just slide off.
Sometimes it does need a little gentle persuasion but it should be quiet easy.
The cover slides downwards, press firmly in the middle of the back cover and push it downwards towards the bottom of the phone.
If you are still unable to do it, then you'll need to find someone to help.

Do the rubber feet on the MBP fall off???

I got my MacBook Pro back in June.
The rubber feet on this thing are great, keep it gripped to the table, keep it elevated slightly...
Problem I've encounterd recently is that the rubber feet are getting some scratches on them.
I suspect it being due to my just putting it on a table, the table must have at times, had little crumbs or debris or something that could have caused it to scratch? I don't know.
The scratches are minimal - they are, for the most part, cosmetic.
My fear is that these will fall off. I've read that Apple keeps the MBP overnight and wants $50 to replace the feet, and that the feet actually screw into the case.
With all that being said, is it likely that the feet on the MBP will just fall off or break off??
I'm loving my MacBook... but seeing how these rubber feet get scratches so easily, without really even having anything sharp touching them, I am a bit concerned. I've put it on a surface, and I'm guessing something very small left over had scratched the rubber feet. I'm not sure... I'm not an expert on that. The scratches are minimal, I'd consider them to be cosmetic, but this is still a concern of mine.

Try contacting Apple through their Express Lane.
Just click iTunes on the left > iTunes Store > iTunes Cards and Codes, and then fill out the form to see if they can take care of the problem.

I bought a new Iphone 4s at walmart with my at&t upgrade and today, it caught fire, melted a hole in the battery and melted the screw connectors on the bottom of the phone and the back came off.. Im not sure what to do on this deal.. Im now trying to get it to work and dont want to spend 500.00 on a new phone when this one messed up for no reason.. If safe, carefully slide iPhone into a plastic bag, double bag it for sure. Use items like pencils or kitchen utensils so you do not touch it. Make Genius reservation, and take it to Apple for replacement under Warranty.

With an iPhone you don't need to take the back cover off (attempting to do so may damage the device). Instead look around the edges of the iPhone for the SIM tray. On an iPhone 4 the tray is located on the right hand side of the device, and on all other models it is on the top edge. Simply insert the end of a paperclip into the hole on the SIM tray and push gently.

Nokia 6280 -problem with slider

Hi !
When i tried to change the front case on my nokia 6280, the whole frontpanel "jumpt of" the slides, and i don´t know how to fix it.
There isn´t any warrenty left on the phone, and there aren´t any service centers nearby.
Is is possible for me to put the frontpanel back on the slides? If so, how?

Should I separate the back bezel from my display?

Just got a used iBook G4 with a display showing three light spots. They are definitely caused by pressure from the back bezel or lid behind the display. My thinking is that there are some bumps or debris caught between the back bezel and the display screen. I want to separate the two and clean out the bezel. I've looked at some how-to sites and they seem to indicate that to remove the display assembly I need to practically totally dismantle my iBook. I don't need to replace anything, though, so my question to you is; should I try to take the screen away from the bezel without disconnecting them from the rest of the iBook?

Well if you take those 4 hex screws out the back comes off easily.

I've seen this problem and it seems to be from anomalies in the coating or possibly pressure.

How to get my back cover off

I have a 5800. I have been trying to get my back cover off my phone. I have seen directions like press the cover release button and slide the back off. Well this is not working. Which one IS the button, and which way does the back slide off, up or down, etc...Please help! Thanks so much

N97 Slide switch doesn't always turn on the back l...

New N97, when I lock the phone and try to unlock it, the back light doesn't always turn on. I have to slide the switch two or 4 more times to get the back light to turn on.

when the phone is lock then unlocked the light light doesnt come back on and anything u press doesnt turn it back on but the slider to lock and reunlock.
Example If it lock my n07 wait 10 seconds (or until end and send lights go off) try to unlock the backlight wont come back on and while that backlight is off if i press the menu, open keybroad, any of the qwerty keys or even the power button the back light will still remain off. The only thing that seems to turn back on the backlight for me is locking then unlocking.

Can anyone esle having this problem can confirm that while the back light off try menu, open keybroad, qwerty keys and power button to reactivate the backlight.

Removing the back cover

Hi all,
Well, we have the ever-popular, iMac G5 that won't power up issue. No sound, no video, the light turns on. The one-year warranty expired on 2/17/07 and it's not in the first generation iMacs covered by Apple's extended repair for this issue.
We are interested in diagnosing in more detail but are having a hecka time getting the back cover off. Funny how the user's manual simply states: raise the foot and lift the back cover off. Sure.
Anyway, anyone have some back cover removal tips or tricks? We've got some old credit cards we can ruin but aren't having much luck with those either.

Your system info confirms you have an iSight G5 iMac. I have that model also & no where in my manual are there instructions on the removal of its back cover.

Clips fall off sync when transferred over network.

We've had the same network for almost 2 years now. Since we updated one of the computers the clips fall off sync, as if the machine is magically taking the slip/slide tool and using it itself. We updated the other mac to 6.0.1 as well, but still same problem. Can anyone help please?

Project files are just copied from one machine to the other, we never work on the same file at the same time
Where does your media live? If I had to guess I would say that you are trying to edit across the network. This means that your media lives on one machine and you try to edit it on the other. Is this what's happening?
If this is what you are doing then you will continue to have difficulties. Networks are just not fast enough to handle media this way. Count your blessings that you did not have any trouble for two years. Now is the time to rethink your workflow.
