There is a setting wrong in the backup you transferred over.
Go through the settings and double check everything with the manual or documentation from your provider.
I have full End User experience of:
5510, 3210, 3310, 3510, 3510i, N80, N80IE, 7610, 2610, 1208 and current E90.

  • Nokia X2 invalid web settings

I am in the united states. Just purchased a nokia X2. Anytime I try to access the web it says invalid web settings. Any ideas?

Contact your ISP for gprs settings, when it arrives as sms, open it and see the list of configutation items recived then save it. Goto settings>configuration settings>default config setting and select the setting previously received then save. Scroll down to access point and choose the same one then press default in all apps.
    Hope it works for you

  • Invalid multimedia access point. Check multimedia ...

I keep getting the error message "Invalid multimedia access point. Check multimedia settings." from time to time ever since I setup my 3G.
    Any thought?

Change it to the correct one from: Messaging | Options | Settings | Multimedia message | Access point in use (the correct access point from your network probably has "MMS" in the name).
If the correct access point settings are not on your phone, you can try: menu | Tools | Utilities | Sett.wizard

  • 6020/70: "check multimedia settings" & "Multimedia...

My Nokia 6070 mobile phone is stuck. It's showing a message "check multimedia settings" followed by "OK". When I click on "OK", it shows a message "Multimedia message sending failed". Then it is coming back to "check multimedia settings". It's gone to an infinite loop. Due to this I am not able to do anything in my mobile.
Note that I cannot access the MENU or any other function so I am unable to reset the phone to factory default settings.
    Please HELP!

@radical24: Message center number? That's for SMS.
@khopdi: like you've been advised, after switching off and on the phone again, check if you have any remaining MMS message in your Message Outbox? Try to delete it.

  • Nokia 6288 doesn't retain settings after reboot

Hi, i've a problem with a Nokia 6288 that after each reboot
does not retain settings regarding "Normal" profile and background. If i turn off the phone, when i turn it back on it reverts to blank backround and "nokia tune" ringtone and all other settings to default.
I already tried to reset it to factory default but had no luck.
Also tried reflashing firmware with nokia software updater but the problem still remains.
There is a way for "hard resetting" it to factory default?
    Regards
    Luca

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • TS4185 I can't log into FaceTime or Messages, checked that my ID and password are correct, checked that settings are set correctly.  Could it be that latest OS download changed my configurations that disable access?

I can't log into FaceTime or Messages, checked that my ID and password are correct, checked that settings are set correctly.  Could it be that latest OS download changed my configurations that disable access?

    Update to above question:
    Hello All,
To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.
    Bob

  • Invalid multimedia access point

The other day out of the blue my phone displayed the following message. "Invalid multimedia access point. Check multimedia settings".Now I get this message each time my phone reboots. I've deleted all my MMS settings and had them resent from my provider. Everything works fine and I can send/recieve mms sms etc with no problem at all so why do i get this message when I start up the phone. Any ideas gratefully accepted.
    Thanks

Ok seems to have cleared itself now.
Seems I had an MMS on the provider that was stuck. Now the MMS made its way onto my phone the error message stopped.
Delete your MMS settings and re install them.
Now be patient for the message to come through.
This is what I did and it cleared itself.
    Good luck
    Graham

  • E63 - Invalid Password. Check the password in Pro...

In my e63 phone, I do not have an option to change the password for the exchange corporate email account.  Whenever I try to sync the email, it gives the following error
"Invalid password.  Check the password in Profile > Credentials > Password."
But, I do not find "Credentials" option under Menu > Profile.
Please let me know where this option is available in Nokia E63.

If you still need this answer -- the credentials section you need to access is not in the Menu > Profile section.  Instead, go Menu > Communication > Messaging.  Scroll down to the "Mail for Exchange" and click on the left soft-key for "Options", scroll down to "Settings".  In that menu scroll to "E-Mail" then to "Mail for Exchange".  In that screen, left soft-key for "Options" and select Edit Profile.  THERE you will see the Credentials menu.
