Nokia 6300 - email storage full

I am trying to set up e-mail settings on my phone. I have downloaded the relevant stuff from Nokia support.
When I try and import active e-mail account settings I get a message saying that the e-mail storage space is full, but I have never used it.
How I can i resolve?

Any other stuff you loaded aside from the built-in programs? All of it shares the main memory.

Nokia N86 Email Messaging Full of Bugs When Next U...

I just bought a New Nokia N86 and I am very sad for this phone!
I use a lot the mails, both for office (exhange) than private (gmail)
I noticed the following bugs:
1) No HTML option only after I can read in HTML but it keep a lot of time to download also a little immage
2) No possibility to write in html, i cannot include picture inside a message, i cannot change colors or fonts or bolds or insert any emoticons
3) The memory of the phone is full (out of memory) after one days, because that stupid program download the messages in "C" (not E not memory card) but never cancell from memory, also i said to update for 3 days. so i think I have to rester the phone every day!
4) The phone is slow, very slow, very very slow, also it freeze when I open the gmail with nokia messaging of the mobile phone
But the nokia tester after you do a new release try to instal all programs on the phone a some other new and some mail account?
Your tester try to read and write mails?
The N86 of your testers crash after 2 days or is perfect?
If is perfect that's mean you use a different phone from the one sold in shops. Or your tester sleep all day instead to test the phone!
I'm so stupid to buy NOkia phones! (I bought my 10th nokia phone and every year the phones become slower and full of bugs.

I think that all Nokia managers use a Blackberry for office mails, and iPhone for private e-mails and music and video

After doing exactly the same settings suddenly the stupid thing works! Only difference was that I didn't accept the certificate and exited out of mail before the dumb thing tried to connect without having the full and correct settings in place. This really isn't easy to use! It is really very poor to have an email setup that trashes the username and password settings and switches on security when a user has expressely selected 'none' so it *will never work* when a user tries to connect for the first time.
I also think that depending on exactly how you start the email settings wizard will depend exactly on what result you get. I didn't use the 'add mailbox' icon in the previous times - I used the menu option. I'd recommend setting up via that icon rather than the menu as it seems to be a tiny bit better at making sure the settings can actually work.
But the wretched thing still doesn't seem to be able to send mail however!

Create a new mailbox under On My Mac, download the e-mails and then drag them to the new folder. If necessary, go to iCloud and delete the downloaded e-mails.

It seems that the outgoing mail server is rejecting mail from your network address. Typically that happens when your mail service provider is also your ISP, and you connect to it from another network. The SMTP server will allow connections without a password from anywhere, but it will only relay mail from within the ISP's network. It could also be that your account on the server has expired or been suspended.
If you need to send mail from outside your ISP's network, use an independent mail service provider. I don't have a specific recommendation.

Nokia 6300 Calendar full

Hi, my Nokia 6300 is stating "calendar full" when I try to add an entry to my calendar. How do I delete multiple entries to create some space? Thanks

Hi - I had the same problem and Nokia support were very helpful. To delete your entire calendard on the phone go to Organizer, them Calendar then from the menu choose "Delete All Notes" ("Notes" = calendar items). Confirm you want to do this. This deletes your phone calendar.
Then in Synchronisation manager on your PC, set up a new sync profile and under calendat choose a smaller date range to sync, eg from previous 1 month to next 12 months. When you sync this smaller ranger of dates so it should fit. If not, do this all again and reduce range, eg -1 month to + 6 months.

Got email saying Icloud storage full. Yet, iCloud on mac & Ipad shows 4.62 GB avail. of 5GB total. How do I find out what is exactly wrong?

Most likely nothing is, others have received this email but nothing happens. For now (unless you are having problem) ignore it.

Restore email application, Nokia 6300

Hi,
my brother just deleted the email application from my Nokia 6300, now I have a flat Internet plan and want to try that application.
Is there a way to re-download or restore the email client that comes with the 6300?

thanks for answering, so if I already run Software Updater and I still does not have the email application, does it means that the email application is not available for my 6300 model?
Looking at the different reginal sites of Nokia, I noted that the email application is advertised in the USA/Europe Nokia site for 6300. But in the LatinAmerica site for 6300 there no mention of the email application.
So it seems I have a latin american 6300
Is there a way to get that email application? I'm worry about security in 3rd party email applications, thats why I want to have the Nokia email application, because I trust Nokia.

Email storage is continually full

I'm going to try this one more time so i don't do something (throw/break/etc) with my iphone5 that i will regret ......
i posted a similar question in november 2014 but thought i would approach it in a slightly different way
my iphone5 has 16g of memory
my os 8.1.1 is taking up a good bit of hard drive space & can't upgrade to 8.1.2
i don't want to throw a curveball into this mix but is it possibly related to
when i went to the os8? i did not have this issue prior but I'm not sure it's the culprit.
my email is showing 5g of usage.
ive deleted every email on my phone & my server
ive deleted every photo & video on my phone
ive deleted most of my apps & all those of high usage.
in the "email usage" this literally showed
a .2 usage change...... (from 5.0 to 4.8)
i've done everything i know to do and additionally
what i have read on this site to do.
my wife has her iphone5c on a different email address
but we goes through the same commercial server.
my email address is our iTunes account.
ive deleted her photos, videos & emails as a step.
i do use dropbox but don't see how this would effect this situation.
to say this is frustrating may be the greatest understatement on the planet.
some suggestions say to go to a fresh reset/default approach to correct this
and that this was suggested by apple tech support. I'm having a hard time with that approach.
im not saying i will not do it as a last resort but surely there is another answer.
any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Nokia 6300 - Instant Messaging icon/functionality ...

Hi everybody,
I'm from Canada, and just bought a Nokia 6300 brand new a few days ago. This morning, I went on my phone to change the wallpaper, and for a second, the phone blinked and changed back to the default provider theme. I then changed back the wallpaper, but when I go into the menu, my instant messaging icon is not there anymore. Obviously, restarting the phone didn't solve the problem.
I don't know if anybody got this problem before. I've seen other functionalities missing like Calculator and Email and such, so maybe it's a software fault. Anyone can advise how to fix this problem? Is this a good phone or I just see the problems with it?
My firmware version is 4.71 28/02/2007.

It seems like your phones software has gone a bit corrupted. Please update it with the Nokia Software Updater. This should solve your problem, if not then you need to take the phone to a Nokia Service Center.

ICloud storage full on iphone, but deleted almost everything and grows larger! iPad is fine with same iCloud acct. can I delete iPhone backup then turn it back on without loosing iCloud data?

Icloud storage full. Can I delete my iPhone icloud backup with keeping my iCloud data unharmed (since my iPad has iCloud storage turned on, and I wouldn't be turning iCloud off on my iPad). BTW, I use iTunes for music and photo albums; iCloud for contacts, notes, etc. Then turn iCloud back up back on on iphone to see if I had a problem file and the storage changes?
ICloud storage full. I deleted messages, moved the camera roll to my PC, deleted Safari bookmarks, turned off almost every app in Managing iCloud storage. I turned off the backup, restarted iCloud backup and did a manual backup yet my storage gets larger yet.
Makes no sense. I have a iPhone and iPad. It's the iPhone showing this large iCloud storage 3.6 GB (when the iPad has more apps and only 716MB).

ANSWER to my Question above: YES.
I took a chance, as I could find NO information regarding my question, and DELETED MY ICLOUD BACKUP (not my ICLOUD account). I then turned ON my ICLOUD BACKUP and whew! It plummeted from 4.8 GB full out of 5 GB TO: 1.2 GB full out of 5 GB.
I even turned on more settings to back up and it still shows 1.2 GB full in ICLOUD, 3.8 available. No more emails to say I am running out of ICLOUD space.
[For what its worth if others are getting messages their ICLOUD is almost full, and you don't have all that much on ICLOUD. Then when you even delete apps, messages, camera roll, turn off almost ALL icloud back ups and features the ICLOUD backup grows even larger. My ICLOUD kept increasing in size while I was decreasing my ICLOUD storage in Managing storage.]
(All my ICLOUD contacts, notes, Safari bookmarks, were returned in place.)

Nokia 6300: Lost memory card = Lost applications

Hi
Does anyone know if I can download the Collection software that came on the included memory card of my new 6300?
I somehow lost the microSD card and no way I'm i retracing my steps to try and find it. Ive ordered a bigger memory card but wanted to download the applications that originally came with the phone.
I've tried a few routes Nokia/Orange but no one seems to know. I'm looking to anyone out there who may have an idea.

I had the same problem and contacted Nokia help email,
Solution
1. Install Nokia PC suite on your PC.
2. Have original memory card with games etc on it in your phone.
3. Connect your phone by cable to your PC and select Nokia mode on your phone and File manager in PC suite.
4.Select 'memory card' in the window that appears and select all folders on the card, transfer the folders to your 'desktop' on your PC.
5. Place your new 1GB card into a usb card reader and transfer the folders from your desktop to the new card.
6. Replace the new card for the old and all should be OK, you are supposed to be-able to transfer direct from the PC to your phone but the 'Games & Collection' folders won't move !.

Nokia e71: Email Message playback for MFE?

I noticed last week that my e71 had a really cool feature. If I press and hold the the top left blue (menu) button a voice comes on and starts telling me about all the email messages (subject line) in my default Nokia POP Email Account.
Does anyone know how to do this for MFE? I have multiple email accounts setup on the phone so it would be nice to do this for all of them. Also, is there any thing else that can be done in this mode? For example, use voice commands to delete or read the email (not just the subject).

Go to emai.nokia.com, here you can reactivate your Nokia Messaging Account. As for the memory full, make sure you have the latest firmware, or you can contact Nokia Care who are very capable of helping you trouble shoot this.

Nokia 6300 Poor battery life

I have a new Nokia 6300. It seems to have a very pathetic battery life. It doesn't last a day with nrmal usage and not more than one and a half day with no usage at all. Does any one else have this issue or the problem is specific to my set.

I agree, it's either a faulty phone or battery. You should get at least 2 to 3 full days with very little useage.
I'd visit a care point and get it checked out if I was you.

Icloud storage full

I've deleted everything from every folder in my icloud mail account (including trash) but still my icloud storage says it's full of mail. Any ideas??

I understand that you are trying to reduce the size of your email on iCloud. I know you have already gone through some great troubleshooting steps as well and the email size is not changing. N9: MfE Hotmail: Mail Storage Full Free some space...

Does anyone having the error " Mail Storage Full free up some space first"...? I have this issue with N9. I just deleted the account and added it again and Hotmail working under mmailsettings.. but no contacts.
I have so many issues with Hotmail & contacts that I am going to abandon my N9 once Lumia 920 released (of course I will remain Nokia Fan)...
I just wanted to know:
1. Once my MfE stops, my whole contact list disappear? Extremely annoying and I don't know to add contacts again.
2. I don't care about mail, I just need my contacts back.. does anyone knows how to keep the contacts in the phone once imported? and they remain in the phone for life?
Please help.. I usually don't attend phone from unknown contacts and now all my friends are unknown as the phone numbers are not associated with their names.

you can go into the setting of the exchange account and make it NOT sync the contaacts after you have them on your phone.
