during software update my phone nokia 6303 stopped & it is not starting up
kindly help

First try reconnecting the phone to your pc and see if NSU will see it and allow you to reinstall update. If this doesn't happen, try removing the battery and leaving it out for at least 5 minutes before reinserting and starting the phone. Failing this, send it to your nearest Nokia Care Point.

I don't understand what ''hard reset'' did you do.
Hard reset. Turn off the phone. Press and hold three keys together, the green key, the * key and the number '3'.Then, turn on the phone and don't let the three keys before you see the Nokia hands logo.
For 5800 XM hard reset need different keys. The green key, the red key and the camera button.The process is the same.

WARNING!Hard reset deletes all your phone's data!
If hard reset doesn't work, take your phone to a Nokia Care Point

Nokia 1530 not starting

Every attempt to start my nokia lumia 1530 has proved abortive. It keeps showing a depleted battery symbol vibrates then shows the nokia write up and then goes off again. I have been charging the phone and it just does not come on. Please help its very frustrating.

Nokia 5310 not starting up properly

Hey everyone,
I thought my phone had run out of battery, so connected to charger and tried to turn on. Did turn on, but just showed white screen with 'NOKIA'. This screen then disappears after about 6 seconds and goes blank. This happens every time i try to turn it on, sometimes nothing at all happens (no white screen).
I've tried taking the battery out for 10 mins, starting the phone with no memory card or sim card and the 3 key start up. Nothing works. =[
Any ideas as to what i could do?
Please help!

i Did turn on, but just showed white screen with 'NOKIA'. This screen then disappears after about 6 seconds and goes blank. This happens every time i try to turn it on,
so i downloaded the nokia software updater after instaling the software u will going through 3-4 steps then the software will start searching the device,,,
then u connect the phone switch the power button on
the system will try to search the new device!!! there u can c that
(nokia flashing the device)
soon after 5min (keep holding the power button for 30seconds then it will start the phone ....try this for 2-3 time, even i dint get it for the first time...
a simple advice to u is dont use (thems or any software in ur nokia 5310 cell)

Nokia 301 not starting

So i update my 301 single sim over the 3G network. The phone had 3 lines of battery. The update was downloaded, and i hit install, the phone shutdown and started to install it. Then after it installed it (i think) the screen turned white and remained like that. I pulled out the battery and inserted it again. Now the phone doesnt start up , but i hear the vibration when it does. So what is to be done?

You need to take device to a nokia care point if you have tried the above,I would try charge the battery again for an hour first and see if there is any sign of life.

Nokia 6600 not starting up

i have my 3 yrs old nokia 6600.it got a strange problem ,it just get turned off on its own .whenever you can think while charging .idle or in my pocket.and after starting it asks for date and time,sometimes it didn't starts but it starts when i tap the phone on my palm .i also noticed that it also get turned off when tapped in on position.
Now it doesn't starts at all,screen lights up momentarily only when charger plugged in and switched on.then it gets off.
i have tried other batteries,sim also,reset it but no use.

send it to an official nokia care centre explain your troubles and in meantime try updating your software

I today updated my software through wifi. after download, it tried to restart the phone and didnt restart at all. Its completely dead now.

Welcome to Nokia Discussions.
If your device does no longer switch on after updating through WiFi, try connecting the phone to Nokia Suite and see if you can reinstall the current software. You can do this by clicking on the green arrow in Nokia Suite, the option to reinstall the current software will be displayed in blue in the bottom of your screen.
If the device does not respond after connecting it to Nokia Suite or you're not able to reinstall the software, please visit a Nokia Care Point where the phone can get looked at and sent for repair if necessary.

Nokia E7 is not starting

Micro usb pin is little broken but when i plugged in to usb charger the power indicator led blinks. Now its not starting even not vibrating when keep holding the power button. Even im not sure that it is being charged or not or battery is null.
please give me a solution.

Nokia e5-00 not starting blank screen

couple of days back, while trying to update the software using nokia suite 3.8.54, at installation page, there was no progress bar and i thought it could be stuck and so, disconnected the USB cable as the device screen become blank. Till now, could not start my mobile. i have used Lumia Software recovery tool, but in vain, also tried hard reset step using 3 keys, but not successful. pl advise remedy to overcome starting problem.

Nokia 6303 classic Radio not working

I bought Nokia 6303 classic phone couple of weeks back, it's radio is not working properly. Radio searches for channels but is unable to find any, tried to feed frequency manually but it doesn't catch anything.

yes it's working...just need to make sure headphone wire is not touching against itself...try to first use in open space, signal will be clearer.

Hi Juned108. Does this mean the phone turns on if there's no SIM card inserted? Have you tried testing another SIM card in the phone?

Nokia 6303 will not reboot ...

While trying to update firmware my computer kept telling me I need to install some NOKIA 6303 software. I kept canceling that untill it got blocked and then removed the usb cable (between phone and pc) and then plugged it in again.
Phone had a white screen for like 5 seconds and then it died...
Any ideeas what can I do?

PC Suite 6.86.9.3 does not start after reboot

Hi!
I have some strange problems with the PC Suite. After the first install everything is working well but after a reboot the PC suite is not starting after double click on the desktop icon.
But i can install tools on the phone or start some of the suite tools. Only the PC Suit does not run.
The repair function of the installer does not bring any results. The only way ist to deinstall the suit and all drivers and to clear all remainig nokia registry entries. After that I can install the suite again and it will run again... until I reboot the system. And so on, and so on...
Does any one have an idea how to solve my problem?

Actually it does not work on one Windows XP SP3 computer, but it does work on another Windows XP SP3 computer.
Probably this is a .NET application, as I have encountered several .NET applications that do NOT work on some specific computers.

How can I copy the SMS from my Nokia 6303 to a Sam...

Hello everybody!
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini...and I find such a pity to lose all the SMS that I had in my Nokia 6303. The new phone is sim-locked so unfortunately I cannot copy the SMS that way.
Does anyone know if there is a possibility to move the SMS from one phone to the other?

Hi, olgadapolga. For the SMS that you do not want to lose, you can create a backup on your PC using this link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/mobile/support/nokia-suite-compatibility/. Note that this link will work regardless of your location. About transferring SMS to another phone, see if there's an option on your Nokia 6303 to create a backup on an SD card. If so, you can proceed with backing up your SMS. Try inserting the SD card in your other phone and check for restoring option. However, if restore is not available there is a possibility that the other phone doesn't support the backed up messages file format. For added assistance, feel free to post it here.

Nokia 6303 c troubleshooting

Hello. I got this Nokia 6303 classic phone, for like 2 years and kept it up-to-date all the time. 5 or 6 months ago my telephone began to restart out of the blue. But it does not look like a common restart. The display suddenly blacks out and only if I press any key, the screen is first white and then my common desktop shows up (there is no PIN request), but no signal too, in the first place. In like 15 secs since the blackout I have signal and I can use my phone. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my Nokia?

Have you checked for a software update recently?
Have you much memory free
Try empty out things you dont need such as messages and photos etc
