Nokia 6350 flip phone broken lcd screen..need help...

Hi there. After running over my phone with the car My lcd screen no longer shows any text. The phone works fine but I cannot navigate around the various menus. I have tried hooking it up to a pc using the nokia pc suite software but that has not worked out . Can anyone please inform me of a way to retrieve the stored phone numbers? I have tried putting the 3g simm chip into another phone but it did not contain the contact list, address book or recent call list. There is one number in particular that I need to see. Thank you very very much albacore

if pc suite failed you should try getting the screen replaced or check your phone bill or go online to your operators website and see what they can offer

Cleaning a mess off an LCD screen - need help asap!!!

my wife had can of spray adhesive blow up near my computer, spraying adhesive all over my 2 LCD monitors. it is now dry and hard. what kind of solvents can i use to remove this without damaging the screens? WD40 removes this crap well from the hard plastic parts, but i'm hesitant to use it on the actual monitor screen. any ideas???

All of the above will damage the screen. WD40 should never be used on any screen, regardless. The gorillas tape can't remove what is on the screen, because the glue softened the polymer of the screen, mixes with it, then hardens...meaning it actually becomes part of the screen; the only way to remove that is to break it off, which is what you'll do if you try the gorilla tapoe method. The citrus based goo removers, if which DSR is just one, will not work for the same reason. The glue has penetrated and dissolved the polymer resin of the screen, then hardened with it. It cannot be removed with a solvent, unless the screen it has integrated into is also removed.
As I stated before, unfortunately replacement is your only ooption.

Nokia 2720 flip phone contact transfer to Nokia Lu...

I have a Nokia 2720 flip phone with contacts in the phone and PIM card as well as Nokia Suite 3.8.48 on my Windows computer. Will the Lumia 520 sync with Nokia Suite or will Win 8 assume contact responsibility and eliminate the Suite?

The easiest option, it it works, is to use the Transfer My Data app from the Lumia 520. Make sure you have the latest version of the app, you can use a free app like Lumia System updater or SysApp Pusher for that. If this works, you can transfer contacts and whatever else is supported direct from the 2720 to the Lumia 520 over Bluetooth.
The Lumia 520 will NOT sync with Nokia Suite, as Nokia Suite will not even recognise it. You can connect the 2720 to NS and upload your contacts to Onedrive, where the 520 can pick them up from. Once you select that option in Nokia Suite you just need to follow the instructions on the screen. Try that if the bluetooth option doesn't work.

I need to replace a broken lcd screen in my laptop, the original screen is N140BGE-LB2, i tryed to replace with a many different types like HB140XW1-300 and N140BGE-L42 but these screens are incompatible. N140BGE-LB2 is out of stock, what i have to do now ?

Usually if you been syncing or backing up with iTunes, you won't need to unlock your phone for it to backup.
Sounds like you've haven't done that. IF you backup to icloud and your phone is currently connected to wifi, then plug to a power source and let it backup.
If both of the above doesn't work, then there is nothing else you can do to backup your data.
You could go to a 3rd party and have them replace your screen but that would void all your warranty with Apple.
Or you can call your nearest Apple store and see if they offer screen replacement.

If you have not done a factory reset on the device, I recommend doing a complete factory reset.
Factory Reset - Warning this will reset device back to original factory settings.
This method will not erase any MDN/MIN information
Turn off the phone
Press Power + Volume Up/Down at the same time and hold until display will show a triage android screen
Display will show:
Reboot system Now
Apply sdcard:update.zip
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Use VOL Down key to scroll down to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", press home icon to select option and wipe device.
Display shows "All user data will be wiped out", press VOLUME Up to continue or VOLUME Down to exit.
Press Volume Up
Press Home to select "Reset System Now" - device will reboot
If the problem persist I recommend having a store technician take a look at the device.

Broken LCD screen

My laptop is Envy m6 series and the LCD screen is partialy broken.
There's a long black line shaped like 1/4 circle at the top left of the LCD screen.
So,
1. It hasn't even a year since I buy it, can I get a this problem covered by warranty?
2. If, just if, it's not covered by the warranty, how much is the LCD screen for my laptop?

Generally broken screens are not covered by warranty since they cannot happen without some kind of trauma. The warranty covers stuff that just wears out or was defective at the time of sale. Some extended warranties from stores will cover cracked screens. To find your exact screen we would need the full model number. Unless it is an odd screen and assuming you can do it yourself it can cost as little as $50 to replace. It is much easier to do that you think and there are lots of youtube videos you can use for guidance.

Broke the glass covering my LCD screen.. help

So two days ago I stupidly put my incredibly heavy schoolbag on top of my macbook, and when I went to open it a few minutes later i noticed the entire glass screen covering my LCD screen is shattered (the glass is still there but there is a SIGNIFICANT number of cracks), and my trackpad is also shattered. Everything is still usable (I'm on the computer right now), but I know that sometime soon I'm going to need to get this fixed.
My first priority is the screen. I don't know how much it'll cost, but reading up on it apparently things like this aren't covered by applecare. I was wondering if it would cost more to go to the genius bar and have them do everything, or if i should buy a new but plastic screen like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400095670538#ht2180wt1026) and have them put it in.
I've had the computer since May, and desperately need it to do all my work. I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas on the most cost efficient way of fixing this. (Or if you have any suggestions about the trackpad, feel free to help me there too)

Had you not attempted to fix it yourself, $269US for Out of Warranty replacement through Apple.
Since it has been opened and attempted to be repaired by someone other than Apple, the Out of Warranty repair option is no longer available.
Find a competent local repair shop to replace the screen with an aftermarket screen (Apple does not sell parts) or purchase a new iPhone at full retail.

If you mean the iTunes logo and a usb cable, you need to connect the phone to a computer with iTunes on it. The device is in recovery mode.

Frustrating Warranty Experience X220 Laptop 4 Months old broken LCD Screen

I want to preface this message so that others may understand how horrible an experience it is to claim anything on the manufacture warranty with Lenovo.
Previous to my company using Lenovo we used Dell. Their support was always top notch. They came on site to replace broken or defective parts and all with in 1-2 day period.
The Lenovo warranty experince will start by you being suffeld around to 3-4 different Indian speaking help desk locations, and after explaining your issues 4-5 times they will inform you that you must ship the laptop in for replacement services. This will require you to be with out your laptop for 7-10 business days. That in my book is unacceptable to any standards. IBM Thinkpads used to be known for how well they supported the business user, now we are told that you have no other options but to ship the laptop and wait more than a week for the matter to be resolved.
This is the last straw from a frustrated IT manager, and we will be taking our business to a vendor that values customer support and stands behind thier products better.

While I can sympahise - when you purchased your lenovo products if you did not purchase the on-site service what exactly do you expect ?
Like anything else, no-one can return a product for service without following procedures and such returns, repairs etc all take time.
So - whats the issue - you are getting exactly what you paid for .......
