Nokia 6700 Webpage Problem

I have tried 5 times to access Yahoo Groups on my Nokia 6700 but this happens Please see video in link:

The phone restarted. That happens when it consumes up all of its RAM.
Try using Opera Mini or the Nokia Browser to access Yahoo Groups instead of the built-in browser and it should work fine being they compress and reduce the page size. Try it.

Nokia 6700 browser problem

I am trying to use the browser that is on default installed on my nokia 6700 but when i try to login in my facebook i can't because the letter's im writing are blank.The probem seems to be only in facebook and i dont know why. When i click okay it says nothing has been written. The letters are blank. I tried to change the writing settings and nothing seemed to work. I reinstalled the software of the phone and it still has the same problem.

It seems that nokia c3 has the same problem too. I was wondering if my phone was broken but it seems that the problem is with facebook itself. I hope they fix it soon.. Because the problem is 2 weeks old and they can't fix it still.

Nokia 6700 display problem

I bought a nokia 6700 about 6 weeks ago and used it without problems for about a week.
Since then I haven't used it.
Today I switched it on and the display seems corrupted - everything is displayed, but it looks as though it is trying to display text and graphics to a different resolution to the screen, so everything is hard to read. It looks more like a software issue rather than a damaged screen (and it has been sitting in a box for several weeks, so there has been nil scope for physical damage).
Any ideas anyone?

Nokia 6700 button problem

The wife has the Nokia 6700 classic phone, but last week she dropped it put it all back together and now the 0 space button is very temperamental, sometimes its works fine but now you have to press the button several times for it to work, i took the phone apart but i cannot see anything untoward that might be wrong, anyone here offer any help please.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum.
If one of the keys does not work anymore after dropping the phone, it will have been damaged and will need to get repaired.
Please visit a Care centre in your area where your phone can get checked. You will be albe to get an indication of the cost for repairing the phone beforehand.

Nokia 6700s memory problems

Hello!
I have a problem with the internal memory phone's. It is always full and I can't free it. I tried the "soft" and "hard" reset without results. Now I can't even connect it to the Nokia Suite. How can I solve?

Thank you for your posts and welcome to the forums!
I assume that you both have tried hard reseting your devices, if not please see here for instructions (remember to back up your phone with Nokia Suite before this). When restoring your data after the hard reset, make sure that you copy only the information you require, contacts and messages, for example. If you do a full restore the odds are that the phone will be filled up to the brim again.
This issue has been discussed before on the forums, so please see this thread for more information and additional tips and tricks.

first nokia russia where i m working refuse to the guarantry becasue it's bought from lebanon
i lebanon they send more for 100 KM to Nokia care
Nokia care said that need to change the camera but is not available
after one month and several calls and fighting my telephon came back to be with camera
that because i trust nokia and i didnt try the telephon before purchasing as my telephon Camera didnt work since the purchasing time
So, your telephone need for camera, is better to go to other service to change the camera (not Nokia) and sale your telephone because camera it's commun problem with this model of Nokia
i am very sorry to say that as since the last 15 years i didnt use other than nokia telephons but now i gone for other trade

Nokia 6700s - problem with the headfones

i'm icieWind, I reacently purchase a Nokia 6700s, I love it!
the problem is my head fones, they don't work. there is no sound, the microfone is ok but the fones...
well I have two headfones, so I tried them on. my Nokia only say : "use cellfone microfone" how can I resolve this? please help

Try the headphones in another phone or music player and see if they work and do the same with another pair on your phone this will eliminate if its the headphones or the phone you can use 3rd party headphones its ok,also check that they are fully inserted correctly you should hear a click noise.

Nokia Ovi Suite - Problem linking phone 6700

Hi,
I have a Nokia 6700 slide. I am trying to manage my contacts through Ovi Suite.
During the "add a device" process the following happens:
Step 1 "Model" - I can complete
Step 2 "Details" - I can put in my "phone number & time zone" & then when I hit next it refuses to go anywhere. Just sits there.
Step 3 "Sync instructions" - can't get there at all

I am having exactly the same problem , it sucks. Also if i get a message from someone and I add them to contacts , their name doesnt come up when they call or message me again , i am not impressed

Nokia 6700 Memory Selection Problem

Please help I am not able to find the option in Nokia 6700 how to select memory card for the messages memory also how I able to tranfer the old messages to Nokia 6700. From the pc suite software provided by nokia I already copoed oll my messages to pc but its not enabling paste option when I connect my nokia 6700 to pc suit software.
Two Issues:
- Messages saving option not showing memory card selection?
- Not allowing paste messages from pc through Nokia pc suite software
- I noticed in the phone not even showing memory card usage option in other application as well is it a bug or ?

try format your memory card using your phone.

Opera Browser Problem on Nokia 6700

Yesterday (28/5/13) I was able to use the Opera Mini ver 4.1.07 browser on my Nokia 6700. When I tried to use the browser today I got this (see attachment).
Does anyone know whats happened please?

Went to Collection > Opera Mini > Options but Delete option is greyed out . Tried to open Opera Mini > Invalid application. Delete? > Yes > Not allowed > OK > Collection

Can't pair Nokia 6700 to BMW 5 series (E60)

Hello,
Some days ago I've bought a Nokia 6700, now I have a problem to pair the phone via bluetooth to my car (BMW 5 series - E60). The phone just doesn't detect the car at all...
I've tried to pair the phone with another car (BMW X5), this worked without any problem.
Can anyone give me advice to solve my problem?

Cant give you advice but for info, today purchased a Nokia 6700 paired up with 57 plate 530d m sport no problem works just fine shows full contact list, previouse phone N95 8gb paired up but no contacts info. 6700 is on the latest BMW compatiable list.

Support for nokia 6700?

I just purchased a nokia 6700 classic and there is a USB cable included in the package. When connecting to the PC it has PC suite as one of the options but when I go to the web page at www.nokia.no to download PC suite it does not list 6700 classic nor any other 6700 as a possible model. How, then, can I choose the right version?
In my opinion the web page should have been updated before the model was released to the market - I assume that Nokia here has done a mistake.
I also tried to connect the telephone as a data storage device but vista appear to have had problems with that - at least no drive appeared on screen as is usual when I connect a new USB device.
I run windows vista home premium and I use the USB cable to connect the phone to the computer.

How to add AT&T settings to Nokia 6700

I have a new Nokia 6700 that I like a lot. Phone not yet available in the USA. Phone, text and internet works great with AT&T, BUT is missing some settings needed for multimedia messages. That is the only problem I'm having. Any help will be appreciated.

Are you in the US? I too had problems with AT&T. When I inserted the SIM in the phone it copied the MMS settings. The problem I ran into was that I had a "pay as you go" plan. AT&T repeatedly turned off my data and MMS connections on the account without advising me. I would call them and after speaking to multi layers of "support" they would turn it back on for my account. A week later it would get turned off for no real reason. I eventually switched to T-Mobile and have not had a problem with MMS since. (Note, T-Mobile will not give you any data access without a data plan.)

Nokia 6700s Network issues

This is Naveen from Hyderabad, India. I hope some one has an answer to my problem.
I have a Nokia 6700 Slider, bought 3 months back. Problem is while at home phone does not seem to pick up signal. Its either completely disconnected (no bars) or 1,2 signal bars. My other nokias (1200, 6303) with same network service provider at the same location shows good signal bars.
In the begining, I thought its the issue with the SIM and purchased a new one, same problem. So, I tried swapping SIMS with other mobiles, new SIM in other phones works just. But, when other SIMs are placed in 6700s, same issue zero or poor connectivity. Most of the time, no connectivity.
Whats worse, this is my first 3G phone and I was really hoping to upgrade my service my plan to 3G. But, what would would I do with 3G, if the phone has problem with connectivity at home.
I'd appreciate any suggestion to improve the situation

Note: While swapping SIM, I've observed there are 2 tiny gold color metal contacts on the inside of the back cover and on the phone. What are they?

What network mode is selected.. Select GSM and see if that makes a difference..

Nokia 6700 cannot get keypad lights and notificati...

i have just bought the nokia 6700 on o2 py as you go, everything seems fine but i cannot get my kepad to light up and my missed call/txt notification light to work. the keypad wont light up at all even when i switch the phone on or plug charger in.
am i missing something in the phone set up? or is it faulty?

The 6700 has an ambient light sensor so the keypad won't light up unless it's actually dark. I'm sure your problem is actually more complicated but it's worth eliminating the obvious things first.
