Nokia 6720 Q2 release date

I am waiting for the new nokia 6720 to be released but all the wedsites say release date Q2 or Q3 2009, What the hell does this mean, can anyone please tell me, its driving me nuts.

Q means quarter, a common business term. Q2 is April-June, Q3 is July-September.

Nokia N86 Australia Release date - When?

Hi all,
Does anybody know where the N86 will be released in Australia? I'm desperate to own one to replace my old and trustworthy N95.
I was going to upgrade to the N85, but then Nokia announced the N86, so I decided to wait a bit longer.

Im a Nokia faithful, love the new booklet 3g. I just wondering anyone happen to know if Nokia is planning on selling their notebook in New Zealand in the near future.

There is an album version that is available but I would rather wait for the soundtrack version. The soundtrack version of this song is not available on its own, which means you can get it by downloading the whole album (http://music.nokia.co.uk/NokiaMusic/Product.aspx?id=OD2DI6685689).
I notices that the streaming function did not work (button becomes an X) so this will be looked in to.

Nokia Wireless Car Charger (CR200) Release Date

Is there any information on a release date for the Nokia Wireless Car Charger? I saw the intro of the product at MWC, and I'm really interested in purchasing one. I haven't been able to find any information regarding the release date though. Does anyone happen to have any information about the release?

It is now two months after this last posting. Any more news? I heard the FCC approved it. Could buy one in England and then have it shipped over here. Really need it. I'm SO surprised how quickly my battery runs down when I use the Nokia Here. Great navigation, but a real battery eater

Nokia has not announced any specific availability dates for any region/country.
All that has been published is here:

where there's the statement "expected to ship in the second quarter of 2009".
That means it'll probably ( "expected" is not the same as "guaranteed" ) be available somewhere in the world by the end of June.
Of course, it could also mean that it will be available somewhere in the world as early as 1st of April, too.
Note that if you are after operator customized versions, they also usually come only 2-3 months later than so called unlocked or SIMfree models.
So, if the unlocked model comes in some regions at the end of 2nd quarter (end of June), it could be August/September before it is available in your part of the world (where ever that is), depending on the situation.
If you subscribe to Nokia press releases via http://www.nokia.com/press then when it actually starts to ship somewhere, you'll get notified via email.

Nokia n91 release date

hi when is nokia N91 going to be offically relesed in the uk

I am waiting for this one as well, it's been advertised since the beginning of Summer 2005 but now most providers have taken it off their websites as coming soon.
Carphone Warehouse say they will have it by the end of the month (January) as its in their brochure .... fingers crossed.
Nokia were unable to give me a date when I emailed them, this is what they said :
"With regard to your email concerning the Nokia N91, we can advise that this handset is due for release in the 1st quarter of 2006. However there is always a time delay from when it is released by ourself to when it is available in shops or from networks. For the release dates either in shops or from the networks we would advise you to contact your local mobile phone retailer or relevent network you wish to use."

As with any kind of product from any company, a new Nokia phone model may be put on sale anything from a couple of weeks to several months from the public and press launch.
There are also a number of factors outside of Nokia's control that have to be taken into account -
(1) Once launched and made available for sale, many operators and high-street retailers will only order new stock in accordance with their normal routines, ie: they might place orders with Nokia at certain intervals, or they might not order new stocks until sufficient numbers of their existing stocks have been sold.
(2) Once Nokia has orders for the new model, stocks have to be distributed to the operators/retailers, who then have to get the phoens into their own distribution chains to the various outlets.
(3) In many markets, operators dominate the mobile phone market, and in these cases you can bet your bottom dollar the phones will be repackaged in the operator's boxes with the operator's versions of the firmware before it hits the shop shelf.
(4) SIM-free phones are, in many markets, only available direct from the manufacturer or from independent retailers. Nokia does not decide how many phones will be SIM-free, ti depends on the individual market as to how dominant operators are.
(5) Sales dates will also vary from country to country

N95-3 firmware new update release date

Hello,
By mid march, 2008, the n95-4 will be released in the US. This will be the next product in the n-series to be released in the US and it has been 4 months since the last firmware release for the N95-3.
I have heard that after the n95-4 comes out nokia will be releasing the new firmware for the n95-3 catching it up to the other n95 phones. A representative confirmed a new firmware will be out shortly and is being developed, but he could not give an exact date.
Can anyone confirm the release date of the new n95-3 firmware or this information as true?
