Nokia 700 wifi problem

Hi guys,
few days ago I got my Nokia 700 and I like it very much. It all seems very fast and smooth, except the wifi connection. I don't have a problem connecting to any network, but the web browsing is very slow and I am loosing the connection very often (still, the wifi icon says that i am connected). This really bothers me and I would like to get this problem solved. Also I've tried using my mobile internet connection and it's also slow, but maybe that's because I've reached the limit for this month . I updated to the last software, tried resetting my router and resetting my phone, but nothing. Can you help me?

might have to check your wireless router at home and the connection speed? or possibly the fix mentioned in this post on Nokia Beta Labs applies to you: http://betalabs.nokia.com/trials/wlan-software-update

Nokia 700 game problem

Hi.
I have bought nokia 700 yesterday and when I was moving files from phone memory to memory card I have accidentally deleted all pre-installed games. I would like to know if there is any chance to get them back? The games were ninja fruit (not lite) and angry birds magic. Thank you in advance.

Try finding those games on Nokia store from games categories or use search option

Nokia c3 wifi problem with asda pay as you go sim

Any advice greatly appreciated.
Bought a brand new nokia c3 on vodafone pay as you go today because I knew that I would be able to use my Asda pay as you go sim with no problems.
Put my Asda sim straight in and everything seems to be in order except when I try to browse the internet through my home wifi it keeps saying I need to subscribe to packet data first. No browser opens up at all.
I use the same sim with my n95 and browse through wifi with no problems.
Am I missing something obvious?

Is your original contract SIM also an Orange SIM? If not, it could be that your premicell is SIM-locked to the original network. If this is the case you'll need to contact the operator with which you have the current contract and ask them for the network unlock code.
I'm not entirely convinced of the 3G vs. 2G argument because I have hade several really old phones (Philips fizz and Xenium 9@9, Alcatel BE4 to name but 3) that dodn't even do GPRS, only CSD, but which did accept my Orange USIM no problem.

Nokia c3 wifi problem

Well nokia c3 as good as its price but......
I have some critical issues with its wifi.
Whenever i try 2 connect it to WLAN of my college my phone shuts down and restarts on its own, And i should mention it that it has just been 10 days since i purchased it and have not even once been able to connect to a WLAN though gprs is doing fine...If anyone could help me fix the problem or even clarify it whether it is a software problem or a setting problem ...Even if you consider my phone to be defective your answers are wellcome

@zenuve: try to check if Your phone got the newest firmware, and if does (7.20) then contact with Nokia Care about it, may they can do something.

Nokia X6 wifi problem(?)

Hello!I recentley bought a Nokia X6. Everything works just fine,except one thing.
Sometimes,when I am connecting to some (free) wifi spots,although connection is well established, the browser gives error message that it cant display the website(every one).

Hello giannisCRF before using a Wifi you have to configure the Wifi access point manually. Go to settings>connectivity>settings>destinations>options>New destination>then touch the newly created destination then>options>New access point>automatically check(No)>WLAN>WLAN name>infrastructure(public)>security mode(open)If its a free Wifi>it will be created then tap the Wifi access point then options then advanced settings in that put the numbers for ip, subnet mask. The back then proxy and port. Try and reply.

Nokia 700 wifi doesn't try to connect when selecte...

My wifi has neen broken for months now. When i choose a wifi network, if it is an unsecured network, and i press on it, the little circular waiting symbol briefly pops up, but then nothing happens, no apparent attmept to connect.
Of course if i hold down, it gives me the option to select "details" but that is of no use.
If it is a secured network, the popup keyboard comes up to enter the password, but after that is entered, nothing happens, the screen just returns to the available networks, with no connection made.
I have tried reinstalling the software both using the phone, and nokia suite, but to no avail.
I'm not 100% sure but it seems this happened after the phone software was updated some many months back.
Other than that, the only thing i can think of is a hardware problem.
Obviously the wifi unit inside is not completely fried as it still sees the available networks and their strenghts etc, it just doesn't make an effort to connect.
Is there a way to reinstall things deeper in the background? Maybe it's some sort of driver issue, if that applies

Don't know whether Nokia Care facility readily available in your region, but device may need software completely re-installed after carrying out "hard reset" to purge the device.
When you say that you tried option to re-install existing device software within Nokia Suite, did you try accessing WiFi without restoring "Settings" from backup as otherwise corruption may be re-introduced?

Nokia N8 wifi problem

I have a Nokia N8 with Belle, when i start my Wifi to search that's all it does, sometimes it might restart my phone, i have to cancel searching or my phone freezes. I have tried to re-install the Belle OS on more than 3 occassions & still it does the same, now i never had an issue with the old OS.
All the other phones in the house search & find within seconds but the Nokia N8 constantly searches, i have left it searching for 20mins one time.......Nothing!

Did you try hard resetting after reinstalling firmware? Might be worth trying. Remember to backup your data before had.

Nokia E6 - wifi problem

guys i've problem in the wi-fi connection , my uni.'s wi-fi requests My ID and the password ... the problem i dont know how to enter the ID and the pass. while my E6 nokia ain't opening any box to type the ID or the pass
the network is WPA/WPA2 type

Welcome to the forum!
On the device, you just need to have the WPA key for you to be able to connect to a WLAN connection. I haven't encounter a WLAN that requires Username and Password. Do you have the WAP key from the owner of the router? Have you tried connecting to that WLAN connection by just using the WAP key?

NOKIA 930 WIFI PROBLEM

Hi,
My 930 keeps refusing to connect to some Wifi networks even some that he conneted before.
The reply is that "The network ***** failed to respond, try again later"
I have seen other post abou this same problem with other models that refer to staticIP configuration what is not the case.
Also I have used the Lumia Software Recovery tool to find my product number that is 059W229 so if anyone can help I would much appreciate.

Nokia n80 wifi problem

When i try and connect to my home network. I get a little yellow box flash up saying windows error. confliction of IP address it flashes up on my pc. my internet then disconnects and my phone connects.I cannot connect my N80 to kmy home network when i am using the net..Any help greatful..thanks

Do you have a cable/ADSL router, or is your wifi only an access point?
Ensure your network has DCHP enabled.

yes this is true but stil i want it loud enough so i can't hear it outside. i just hope they put the volume back up on the next firmware
