Question

Hi folks
Have a 808, updated.
Problem is, that sporadically, the backlight doesnt come off. Phone locks itself correctly, but stays lit.
I have to remove the battery for prolongued time, till it resets itself. I know it resets, when i need to put the time and date in on startup.
Also sometimes it starts to respond really slow, without too many programs being in the background.
Just recently it first became slow, then the backlight stayed lit.
First, I thought that CAR MODE got somehow stuck, because this mode doesn't let the phone to lock or turn illumination off.
I stopped using car mode, but just recently, the phone stood lit again, just after taking a photo.
Also, sometimes, with Sports Tracker, it doesn't find satellites, and I have to restart the phone, which solves the problem.
On occasion, nokia drive doesn't engage, restarting helps.
Biggest problem is, that these issues are becoming more and more often.

Hi denisWR,
For date and time, turn on automatic time update in time and date settings.
For backlight issue, restart the phone and immediately try locking the phone with side lock key one or more times.
For improved performance, I recommend you to uninstall autostarting and unwanted applications.
When the phone the starts, it will be slow in the beginning and after a minute or two, it should work normal speed.
For gps issue, make sure that position method are properly set, there should be at least 4 out of 5 should be marked except blutooth gps which is optional.
You should be able to find postioning methods in settings-application settings-Positioning-find my location-positioning methods.
Also see, settings -application settings-map apps-maps and walk-backlight, here you might wanto set it to System default.
