Nokia and Windows apps error code c101a006

Just got a Lumia 920 and it is fantastic! But when you get a new phone you need those apps. I got a couple of apps downloaded and then bang! Error code c101a006 - please try again or try later. It's been 24 hours now and have tried rebooting, clearing caches and cookies but no joy!
I contacted Microsoft support and all they would do is pass me off to Nokia. They even supplied the Nokia Australia support phone number!
Anyone out there got any ideas or solutions?

Microsoft have been experiencing issues with Marketplace and I bet their servers are busy with all the new WP phones being sold at the moment. Not sure how Microsoft arrange their servers but trying at different times of the day may make a difference. I presume your phoen is set to Country: Australia and language: English. Try changing your country to UK or Ireland and see if it makes any difference. Can change it back after.

Day before yesterday I updated my nokia 5233 software from version-v.21.1.102 to v.40.1.003. With this, OVI showed update available for 'Here and Now' application, but when I tried to update this application, ovi suite showed an Error code- 17009. I uninstalled my OVI suite & re-install again, but error code 17009 still exist.
What is the actual problem, problem with new version software or something else ? How to solve it?

OK, i had checked it now, on device. device shows all applications are up to date. but when i opened OVI suite, it shows here and now 2.0 application for installation, however, my device also shows here and now 2.0 installation failed in update history. i'm confuse now.
is i got update or not?

Maybe your firewall or security software are preventing the download from finishing. You could try disabling them until you finish the download

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

Windows 8 Error Code 27850

Hi,
Getting the error code 27850, have managed to find fixes for windows 7 but when trying to apply them it would seem that windows 8 doesn't have the same registry??
Have tried manualling removing every bit of Cisco off the pc but as soon as it gets halfway to installing up pops the dreaded error code window.
Any ideas on a workaround for this please???
I did consequently have it running perfect before my certificate expired!! However it would not install the new one without an import password so I uninstalled to re-install and this is where the problem came about,

Ok so after playing around and investigating further, I uninstalled a few adaptors from device manager list as I had approx 7 cisco ones!! Any way I haven't been able to get rid of the final one "Cisco Sytems VPN Adaptor for 64-bit Windows - Deterministic Network Enhancer Miniport" Clicked uninstall and it behaves as if its doing it but then remains, so have disabled.
Anyway re-run the install program and it now gets to literally 5 secs from full install and then the error code pops up, so I'm thinking its something to do with the above adaptor. How can I remove it from the device list??

I have a Dell PowerEdge T320 that is experiencing this issue: Windows update error Code 80072EF3
I followed instructions in article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821/en-usand ran the DISM.exe with the offline source (my DVD drive) to avoid using the windows update component that appears to be damaged. Command completed, but no effect on the error.
Last successful update session was 7/8/2014
Security Update for Windows Server 2012 (KB2922229) cancelled. Tried to install manually. Not applicable.
Update for Windows Server 2012 (KB2811660) Failed. When running the manual download get the message it is already installed. Same for KB2855336
Any help appreciated.

Hi All,
I am on MDM 5.5 SP6.
I am getting the following error message when trying to logging in to the DM.
The system cannot find the file specified.Windows sockets error code:2.This application will now exit.
Runtime Error :
Program C :\Program Files\SAP MDM 5.5\Data Manager\Datamanager.exe
R6025.
-Pure virtual function call.
And in console also the MDM server is stopped after getting the above error message.
Can anybody tell me what could be the problem?

Hi Sireesha,
According to me, there can be 3 problems,
1. Kindly check whether the MDM server is stopped. If it is, then restart the MDM Server and Load the repository with Update indices.
2. If this error is coming with every repository, the problem will be either in the Version mismatch of the Server and the GUI's you are using. Kindly ensure that the versions for the MDM server and the MDM Gui's Match.
3. If only Data manager Client is giving the problem, then you can un-install and install the DM GUI again.

Please perform the below steps:
1) Reboot the computer.
2) If error still persist, Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE OLD from
Mac: MAC HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and
C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Adobe
3) Download Creative cloud once again and try launching.
4) If you still faces an issue then Quit/End the AAM notifier process
Windows:
Press Ctrl Alt Delete
Start Task Manager
Click the 'processes' tab and check if you have AAMNotifier running
If so, click End Task
Mac:
Go to Spotlight (magnifying glass at top right on your screen)
Type Activity Monitor
Press Return to open Activity Monitor
Check in the Activity monitor for AAMNotifier
Quit that process if you find it

Buy a new drive and replace the old one. While the old one is still working (if it is) I would quickly make a bootable backup to an external drive if you have one, assuming you have no extant backup.
Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
Select the destination volume from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.
You will find suitable replacement drives at OWC.
They may also have a video tutorial. Or you may find a written tutorial at ifixit.com. Also may find one by Googling for it.

hey guys... since I upgraded to itunes7 my ipod (4th gen click wheel) doesnt sync poperly! it all began when I was syncing the ipod and my screen just froze a few secs after connecing the ipod! I had to restart the computer and reset my ipod... from that time had alot of trouble!
first the screen froze immediately when I connected my ipod with the pc and later when i had formatted it with windows several times and resetted it a million times with itunes7, itunes and windows show errors (error (-124) while syncing and everything stops! I've just spent nearly two nights on that and really hope that my ipod didn't break just because of itunes7! to stay in proper english and not get that angry in letters that I am in mind--- please so help me... my ipod is everything and im a music junkey! by the way... itunes itself works perfectly... if i not sync! how peculiar that getting back to itunes6 is impossible...i tried it... does it hav a spec reason, hah!

I tried formatting the ipod with windows! in the end of it windows says that it was not able to format the drive properly. then I click ok, open itunes, restore the ipod, try to sync again and have the problem that after a while the whole thing freezes... no more errors....just from the moment i disconnect the ipod manually from the cable, everything gets back to normal life again! I do not know what to do! do you guys think, my computer is too old or maybe my ipod's broke???
I'm despairing people...never had problems like that until itunes7! I tried as well to close all the other working programs with the task manager... doesn't change it!
